agree, Ethereum is good for long term and short term investment.

There is still a solution to this seemingly eternal problem. Vitalik Buterin recently proposed a new limit on the total amount of transactional data in a block to reduce the total cost of transactional gas on the ETH network. Apparently, this problem was not solved within the framework of the Ethereum 2.0 update, or there was no complete confidence that it would be solved. In any case, there is a way to reduce the size of transaction fees in the ethereum network, and this is already a good thing. Moreover, there is still time until the completion of the network update.

I think Ethereum should change this immediately, I agree with you that if Ethereum still has expensive transaction fees then slowly many people will leave it.  Because now there are so many new Blockchains that have cheaper and faster transaction fees.

We all see several projects have migrated to BSC.I think It's the sign, people leave Ethereum now.
Even though, there are several scam projects on BSC, but BSC is lower fee and faster transaction.

Since transaction fees increased, I have never traded on Dex exchanges such as uniswap, I have long since moved to the BSC,Solana and Polygon networks, this I did because the new coin I invested bridged to several networks, that's why I chose a Network other than Ether to avoid high gas fees

Yes, I think It's good idea..If we didn't want to choose ERC20 to transaction, we should change the platform.
But for new coins that only use ERC20, the couldn't.
