Yeah. old coins are more trustworthy to invest in but new coins are not all bad there are some good ones like DIA

There are more than 5000+ coin available in market ( According to coingecko ) . But XRP as well XLM and TRX are still my favourite coin that's I used to store it as long-term investment . Top 10 coins always profitable as long-term investment .

Your favorite coins could be depends on trending platform. DeFi is now the most trending platform corresponding with more projects about DeFi. I don't know who will stay in cryptocurrency because some will not succeed. Before i like Ethereum and even now.

I was an Ethereum believer at the beginning and I still do believe, but my current personal favorite is USDT 

If we talk about non-stable coins I do love Bitcoin, ThunderCore, Ethereum, BNB. I'm not an active trader so I'm looking at the projects as a technology, not as a potential profit. The are hundreds of promising projects right now and most of them are solid, so it's a matter of choice.

I still have my faith on Bitcoin and Ethereum. But altcoins is a good investment too. You just have to be able to penpoint which one have a good concept, roadmap, and pray to buy at discounted price. ICO's and IEO's are good for hunting potential crypto projects.

Most of the people here favor top ranked coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum.  It's not wrong, because the two coins have very good potential!
I myself also chose these coin for long-term investments, but actually there are a lot of Altcoins that can provide huge returns.  Like YfI Coin, which are now very expensive.  And I have a new favorite Coin, which I think will bring huge profits in the near future.  The coin is DIA.

What's wrong with DIA, why do so many people choose this coin?  even though this is a new coin ...?! This coin is also not listed in the top 100 Cryptocurrencies.
It seems that in choosing coin we are not only with coins that are in the top rank, but Coins that have good potential are indeed worthy of choosing. I just checked DIA and I was surprised to see the development of very good prices, this is indeed worth choosing and investing.

I'm using my coins actually I'm a fan of the ethereum because I'm using many ethereum based coins to trade but I'm holding top 20 places altcoins for long term holding currently I have ETH, LTC, and XRP also I'm trying to earn profits form small coins because many old small projects are going in good conditions.
