Seems to me that SEC of USA is on a crusade to fight all big crypto exchanges inside and outside the country who are doing business within the mainland. Kucoin has been on the business for years and just like Binance it is one of the top exchanges we have around in terms of business volume handled and influence. Incorporated in the Cayman Islands, the Republic of Seychelles and Singapore, it is respected well in the cryptocurrency industry. The way I am seeing it is that Kucoin can be following the path taken by Binance and I am wondering if what can happen to CZ will also happen to Kucoin founders which is possible imprisonment and not just paying big venalities amounting to millions of dollars. North Korea is taking advantage of the crypto industry by instigating successful hackings...but USA is doing a lawfare in getting what they wanted.

Gambling discussion / Re: Keep trying you will win

Are you part of us that are trying our luck in gambling? If you are then drop your own quote to motivate the rest..

Fortunately, I don't belong to the Lucky Gambling Society. I would say that one of the most motivated people in the world are those who are addicted to gambling most especially if one has already tasted the addictive feeling of winning. And they would do anything possible to get the capital required and yes there are even creative people who did many nasty things just to get the jackpot they are craving for...they are motivated so much that they may even risk their livelihood, their family, their job and even freedom just to get there. What a travesty...because if they would be using the same level of motivation somewhere else they can be the next successful CEOs in their localities. These people should realize that gambling is a big business and if they would change position by being in the operator side they can make big money everyday without them doing the gamble themselves.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: What tokens are trending?
« on: March 27, 2024, 05:50:44 AM »
I'm bullish in Solana and it's not too late to invest in it. They have their own ecosystem and many project launching on it. Also they have their own mobile that can generate tokens inside in their ecosystem. It's not that i'm promoting it but in my opinion you should research this and consider it.  :)

Solana really intrigue me a lot. Just weeks ago, I was amazed to see its price approaching $100 and I though that maybe that would be its ceiling for the time being or at least in 2024...but alas it reached almost $200 as of today and there is even a chance its run can go further. So I am wondering, will it one day gained the $1000K zone? Comparing to Ethereum, SOL has 572 million supply while ETH has only 120 million so based on this fact alone and if adoption of Solana will continue on breakneck speed there is really that potential for it to soon grow even better than ETH. Now, am planning to convert my ETH to SOL...do you think this can be a good move?

The whole crypto industry is waiting in suspense of how the coming halving will be impacting the price of Bitcoin and other alts as well. We know that ETFs made a staggering push for Bitcoin and with halving to happen days from now there is more likelihood that BTC can cross the $80K zone with ease and may even attempt to make $100K as the goal. Immediately after halving, many are predicting that there can be some dip or correction but this would just set things up for more exciting run as 2024 is burning its months away.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Has BTC really become more attractive than gold?
« on: March 27, 2024, 05:29:30 AM »

As what Robert Kiyosaki has been recommending for the past many months, Bitcoin, silver and gold are the top investment vehicles one should get into as the global economy can be facing a lot of pressures in the next coming years. However, we know that Bitcoin is the most exciting among the three and it is because it is the most volatile where the price can go up and down as fat as we are blinking our eyes where the prospect of gains  and loss can be staggering. As for gold and silver, they are good options too and in fact attracting many investors and traders as well but we know that Bitcoin is more accessible to many.

1. Are you investing in BTC or gold?
Between Bitcoin and gold, I am into Bitcoin ever since I got involved with cryptocurrency since many years ago but it does not mean I got a huge portfolio of it. Gold is less accessible compared to Bitcoin and if one will accumulate physical gold then it can be a big hassle protecting and transporting and that is why many people love Bitcoin as a store of value and a speculative asset. I am not saying though that gold is not a good option, it is not just for me as of now.

3. Do you think BTC has become more attractive than gold in the investment sector?
I understand that it would be difficult for me to quantify if gold has become less attractive compared to Bitcoin as gold has a marketcap much. much bigger than Bitcoin. However, when we talk on excitement then Bitcoin is the winner and as what I said above it is more accessible for the many. Plus its volatility can mean that an investor can earn a good ROI even just two weeks or a month after starting on the journey...something that one may not be experiencing with gold as it tends to be more stable.

3. Have people like Peter Schiff accumulated a lot of BTC while still badmouthing BTC in the media?
I am not sure what lead Peter Schiff to be an anti-Bitcoin personality when in fact anybody can invest on both and they are good investments as far as I can see. In fact, there is actually no need to choose between the two...if you have the money then go for gold and also for Bitcoin. This is not like electing a president of the country where you can only select one...we can have all the gold and Bitcoin we want for as long as one has the money to do so.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Mesmerized by Meme Coins?
« on: March 27, 2024, 04:30:21 AM »

There is no question that we are now in the new er where cryptocurrency is here to stay and will continue to even grow further into the future and with its influence already now recognized by many financial institutions and many governments we can be sure its future will be solid, strong and prosperous albeit the presence of government's regulatory power can be creating some tug-of-war from time to time.

Within the cryptocurrency industry, one of the many things that really mesmerized me is the commanding presence of meme tokens.   As defined, meme token or coin "is a term used to refer to cryptocurrencies named after characters, individuals, animals, artwork, or anything else that can be mimicked. Most are supported by enthusiastic online traders and followers and are generally intended to be light-hearted and fun. While meme coins may be entertaining to some, they are also highly risky investments and may hold little or no intrinsic value." Considered as the official meme coin, Dogecoin was released intended as a joke but then it slowly catches fire and supporters and today it even got Elon Musk as its most famous supporter and promoter...such an achievements are certainly not a joke, for sure.

In my humble view, I would compare meme coins or tokens to comedy movies which are intended to make people laugh and be entertain but looking at them as a business model they can be bringing in gargantuan money to the box-office with the support of the viewing public.

What are the meme coins included in your portfolio as we are waiting for the bullish season to peak in 2024 and 2025?

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: What tokens are trending?
« on: March 27, 2024, 04:09:27 AM »

We are in the bullish season so naturally there will be coins and tokens that will be trending because of their sudden and solid rise in the crypto market. Just recently, I saw how excited are the supporters of BOME as it made its mark significantly in the market. And we also have Solana which did not failed its holders as it made a skyrocketing ascent to the top of the chain. There are more in CMC and you can just inspect on their chart to see how they defied the odds and made them so remarkable. As far as meme tokens can be concerned, I find PEPE, dogwifhat, BONK and MEME to be outstanding and may continue to be gaining strength in 2024. However, one must be careful in dealing with these flashy digital assets as there many of them that are not actually bringing real value but just here because of the generated hypes especially from the people promoting them so make some profits while the iron is hot and drop them when they start to get cold. Good luck on your hunt.

11
Of course, they will be diving big time to cryptocurrency as they are seeing that big potential to create more profits in here. Just like greedy sharks, they can smell blood even from afar and with cryptocurrency it is happening right within their noses. And this can be a big validation to the crypto industry most especially top digital assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum where we already have the ETFs for the former and maybe coming for the latter. When clients of big financial institutions are demanding to have a slice of the profits, they have no choice but to listen to them and so they are making ways to be a part of the action in one way or another. Years from now, we can then evaluate if the presence of these new whales is doing the crypto industry good or they are just like a big nuisance you can't take away anymore.

This quote from Amanda Tuminelli, Chief Legal Officer at DeFi Education Fund, sums it all up of what's wrong with this case and how low SEC resorted just to supposedly win the case: "SEC was so focused on its own advocacy that it lied to the court in order to bolster its position..." Actually, this is so unbelievable because SEC should uphold the highest standard and is expected to be on top of things in enforcing its regulatory powers. I am not anymore wondering why many other crypto firms are now fighting SEC especially if they think the agency overstep the boundary and is in fact violating ethics and maybe even the law it swore to enforce to all. I am really wishing that SEC will soon get the beating in the XRP case.

Gambling discussion / Re: effect of excessive gambling
« on: March 26, 2024, 02:13:21 PM »
Gambling has had been with humanity for ages and the first recorded of gambling date back 20 2300 B.C. and jumping to 2010 the invention of smartphones in the 2000s brought access to gambling into the palm of someone’s hand and this is the era we are now in where anytime anybody who got some money can gamble. Biblically, the first gamble happened when Adam took the enticement of the serpent via Eve and ate the fruit of forbidden tree which resulted into the kind of world we are experiencing where people can be victims of addictions of all forms, types and impact. The cost of gambling to a personal level can be devastating not only to the gambler himself but also with people around him...and the cost to the society can be staggering as well though this can be harder to measure most especially if stakeholders are just looking at the possible revenues that can be raised. That is why we have to be careful with gambling so we won't be addicted and be destroying our lives.

Robert Kiyosaki, author of the renowned personal finance book “Rich Dad, Poor Dad,” predicts $100,000 Bitcoin by September and views the current economic landscape.

Kiyosaki, known for his insights on wealth-building and investment, announced his plans to purchase 10 more Bitcoin before April, emphasizing the upcoming Bitcoin halving as a significant event for potential investors.

He suggests that those who cannot afford a whole Bitcoin might consider buying a fraction of one through the Bitcoin ETFs or Satoshis, hinting at the possibility of owning an entire Bitcoin by year’s end if the process unfolds as expected.

Taken from here: https://crypto.news/robert-kiyosaki-predicts-100k-bitcoin-by-september/

The bullish season of Bitcoin 2024 is also the time when the media seems to be getting fond of Bitcoin evangelist Robert Kiyosaki as he is not shy to predict a rosy picture for this asset. Known to also love gold and silver, he had since then embraced Bitcoin as part of his own portfolio and is always telling others to follow the same path towards financial independence. His latest prediction of September 2024 BTC at $100K seems to be doable...in fact in my own opinion this is already too long because I am hoping the $100K level to happen around June or July. Anyway, these are all speculations and only time can validate with whatever we are saying here since nobody actually possesses the crystal ball of the future. So what do you think...do you have a good prediction of your own for Bitcoin within the time-frame of 2024?

The best solution for people like Peter Schiff is to stop giving them attention, as most of his statements are so stupid that others respond to him and his name appears in articles and on channels as a “Bitcoin hater.” If Bitcoin is this bad, there is no need to express your opinion every week. if I don't like something, I will comment on it once or twice and stop following its news.
I think Peter Schiff is now the official anti-Bitcoin evangelist so if we have Robert Kiyosaki always on the news praising Bitcoin, sliver and gold, we have this man who has the propensity to say anything against Bitcoin so as to make it bad though of course the market is not responding well to his pronouncements as the rise and growth of Bitcoin eclipse that of gold, his preferred investment vehicle. As pointed in the article, this area where the man is criticizing is actually also so true with other types of ETFs including that of gold...so what gives? For sure, Peter will say anything negative on Bitcoin and things related to it, no matter what. Next time we know he will even be criticizing even the very name of Bitcoin...and that would be so hilarious.
