I see first advice in the list is practicing in demo account, but I dont it is worth spending a lot of time on it. It isnt hard to get familiar with what each button on exchange page does and what is where in UI. I dont know why, but all my experience with demo accounts or demo gambling is me always winning or ending with profit. But as soon as I switch to "real money", my trades become ineffective or unprofitable, even though I am doing all the same. Or lets take other advice - when you fail in trading, return and search why you have failed. I have bought dogecoin few years ago. Now its price is lower. Its price never grew significantly. What is my mistake? Bought it on wrong time? But what was correct then? Nobody cant predict where is bottom.

Demo trading or demo accounts not only let you understand the functionalities of a platform or what each button does, but you can use a demo account to practice your trading experience such as reading charts, using indicators to predict the future outcomes of each cryptocurrency, and practicing the strategies that you have learned so that you can use those strategies when you start making real trades.

A demo account might not make you perfect, but it will at least make you better in terms of utilizing multiple features and techniques that you can use as a trader in the future, and it will save you from unnecessary losses that you might incur if you start trading immediately without any practice.

Ok, I have spend 5 minutes maximum to understand how each and everything works on exchange. I have played with demo account and became an adept of trading, who closes every order with profit. But why when I switch to real trading, everything is different? In short, in demo mode, everything most of the time goes up. This rarely happen IRL. I mean what can I train for a long time, if the best strategy is "buy low sell high" and all I have to do is to wait for price to grow. Demo accounts does not teach patience. Crypto world news and announcements does not influence on demo account. So why then give so much attention to it?

Recently found such joke in the internet - bullrun will start in 4 months, when CZ gets out of the jail. I am not saying that current price drop is related to sentence he was given recently, but like it is said: «each joke has part of truth in it». Just my imagination - CZ gets out of the jail, he will be totally free men that has repaid his debt, he still has a lot of money and reputation. If he decides to create something crypto related, it will be boom on the market.
I don’t think that one person is capable of doing this. Despite the reputation and means that he has, the problem is that a boom happens when you do something new. Perhaps it will be possible to do something local that will improve his financial situation nothing more. But perhaps I I'm wrong.

Wont creating Binance 2.0 with new benefits, rules (so he wont get into jail again), followed by a exchange token, create a boom in the industry? What if decides to create a DEX with all features Binance (CEX) have. I am sure that if he does something this with IPO, only lazy crypto enthusiast will not invest in it. I am not a big expert, but I think that when such big crypto figure gets released from custody, he will come up with something new. At least I think he wont stay silent and unnoticed.

Yeah gambling can actually have a disastrous impact on a student's life, both academically and socially.
When a person becomes too used to gambling and suddenly develops the inability to control their emotions when gambling, then addiction sets it, and gambling addiction comes with a lot of things, from financial problems to mental health problems and then social problems and so many more, and if a student (regardless the age or level of education) starts to develop these symptoms, then it will definitely become veey harmful for them because they won't be mentally balanced to be able to do on the academic activities.

This happens only in some parallel universe. Among millions of students how many are really gambling addicted? Several thousands? That is nothing in matter of statistics. Students are busy doing all kind of stuff, and I doubt that many focus so much on gambling, that it has a significant impact on their study and grades. As you make an imaginary chain of what can happen in future gambling>addicted gambling>bad grades>expelled>low paid work>no future>health problem, then there is no use to go out from the house at at all because, for example, you can get hit by car, robbed, object can fall on the head and etc.

Leave students alone. That is their first experience of grown-up life. Let them have their own experience, bad and good. Let them do their own mistakes and solve them. Otherwise we will have army of «mama’s boys» .

Well, I was a university student when I started gambling, the truth is it was very Exciting, yes it can be like an addiction, but you have to know how to treat things, when they are underage students things change, now they can't. It is taken the Same because the game is always a great temptation , minors are something else, it is something that is not allowed to enter or anything like that, that is something that already escapes the normal parameters, but in another since being a student You can take advantage of everything, of course that's how I see Things, it's much better when you learn to have control, whether you are a student or not, because it is an indication of the type of Professional you will be in the face of any adversity.

How you managed not to turn crazy on gambling? I know one of the reasons - as you became an adult (I suppose all university students are 18+), you got official access to lots of things that you werent allowed to do, test or have when you were underaged. I may only predict, but I think you focus on things was spread. What I say that you were not focused on studying and gambling only. Which means gambling industry will have to really try to get you addicted. Am I right ?

Gambling discussion / Re: Do People Change Their Preferred Casino?
« on: May 01, 2024, 07:06:06 PM »
I dont think that many gamblers change the casino they gamble in, especially if we talk about offline casino. For online casino, I think every gambler has just one or two casinos where he gamble, and switch them only if there are bonuses. A person would change online casino only if he faces troubles in it. If casino is reputed, then barely any gambler get any problems with. A please to pass KYC might force gambler to move to other casino, but I havent seen lately that casinos were strict with KYC, and often require to just verify email.

I think if they really fight, but not perform like actors, then 2 minutes will be enough for this fight. I remember that Mike Tyson style was always aggressive. Not many of his fights went full distance. If he knocked out his opponent, then that happened in first part of the fight. I have watched Jake and Logan Paul fights previously, and I think that Jake will jump on a Mike like a hurricane like his brother Logan jumped on Floyd Mayweather in the very start of their fight. And Mike will welcome Jake with his counterpunch.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: High fees is a never ending story?
« on: May 01, 2024, 06:56:45 PM »
Something makes me feel, that we are going to see high fees again. Here is why. First I saw really high fees about half a year ago, then I saw them again somewhere in January, and again after halving. For me shows that someone really likes them and earns good on them, otherwise they wont have repeated. So while we see situation is being normalized, someone somewhere thinks what to invent next (and people cant stop inventing new) for blockchain, that obviously is going to push fees up high again. It isnt have to be a malice, but a pure curiosity.

It's not as easy as you make it sound. Bitcoin's transaction fees aren't in the control of an individual and it's not that easy for someone to invent something that would make the network become congested and fees soar high once again because even if someone does that, it depends on whether people will use it or not just like ordinals, so even if someone tries, they can't succeed in doing that.

However, there is no doubt that this wasn't the last time for fees to go so high, and we are surely going to see something similar again very soon, but the reason would only be the excess of dust transactions or a lot of investors getting into the market at once.

Indeed bitcoin isnt controlled by individuals, but still someone created NFTs on bitcoin blockchain, we got runes recently. And there is more to come. Why dont we have something like meme-coins on bitcoin blockchain? Or lots of metaverse madness? That is a good idea to think how to implement that to bitcoin blockchain, and that person will get rich. I expect more things that were once in trend in crypto to appear on bitcoin blockchain one day.

Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: for fun or to earn money?
« on: April 30, 2024, 04:49:52 PM »
Show me someone (not a professional gambler, whos only activity is to gamble all the time) who is really earning money in gambling. Not just winning uncertain amount of money from time to time, but doing it regularly. Something like $100+ as minimum per week, but that person must be achieving it in a solid amount of time, not just 2-3 months in a row. Then I will agree that gambling can be sort of a freelance. Until then, I see only fun in it.
