If Biden says he'll veto the bill, he'll probably keep his word. I don't understand the Congress' resistance of the SAB 121 because they've been pushing laws that furthers financial transparency. It seems the stifling innovation is not the main reason why they don't like it. I am guessing they are afraid that their personal involvement with crypto will be revealed.

Good win for the handicap bettors ;D Let's hope bookies will give us attractive odds like that for the rest of the series.

For game 1, there are a lot of players that played good but it was Jrue Holiday was a huge surprise to me. Being a widely known defensive player, he wasn't expected to score that many.

Betting for the Pacers +9.5 @2.01 as this game is like a getting to know each other game hehe so i think even if the Celtics win game 1 they will not cover the spread.
That's an attractive one, I'll follow but will pick +10.5

Pacers are the heavy underdog here but with no significant injury for both teams (except Kristaps), this could be closer than most people thinks. I'm looking forward to the duel between Siakam and Horford.

~ but I've noticed for quite some time that when my bankroll is almost at the end I tend to bet a bit more aggressively when betting and my losses are increased.
I believe that's called chasing your losses. It's a common reaction among impatient gamblers but even seasoned players do this sometimes. The main difference is that the newbies usually bet beyond their bankroll while the veterans put all as last bet but it's still within their betting limit.

Should I make any changes to gambling when placing bets at the end of the bankroll?
It depends on your goal. If I'm to based it in your post, then you might as well go big one time and leave when you lose. I think playing slow won't really help you recover your losses.

The referral could help become a bridge that will encourage newbies to learn more about crypto ecosystem but it's not necessary to become successful in inviting others to join the program. At the end of the day, it's all about money. The motivation is not to learn about the project but to earn from referrals.

I keep seeing this token shilled in a crypto group I am in but nah. It's highly speculative and I don't have time to be monitoring quick price movements. Sadly, even the founder of that group is also promoting this. I haven't seen anyone who criticized the promotion of this token but that's probably because they are already kicked out before anyone can read the comment.

It's good to see a new face to win the championship this year. Out of the four teams remaining, I think Tatum and the Celtics deserves it the most but I have no problem if Luka's Mavs gets it. Anyway, how do you plan on betting in game 1 of the EC Finals? Are you going to skip it to see how they will match up?

For anyone wondering what the bill is all about:

Quote
Financial Innovation and Technology for the 21st Century Act

This bill establishes a regulatory framework for digital assets.

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) must regulate a digital asset as a commodity if the blockchain, or digital ledger, on which it runs is functional and decentralized. The bill classifies a blockchain as decentralized if, among other requirements, no person has unilateral authority to control the blockchain or its usage, and no issuer or affiliated person has control of 20% or more of the digital asset or the voting power of the digital asset. In addition, the bill provides the CFTC with exclusive regulatory authority over cash or spot markets for digital commodities.

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) must regulate a digital asset as a security if its associated blockchain is functional but not decentralized. However, the bill establishes certain exceptions to SEC regulation for digital assets that limit annual sales, restrict nonaccredited investor access, and satisfy disclosure and compliance requirements. The bill also sets forth requirements for primary and secondary market transactions.

The CFTC and SEC must jointly issue rules to define terms and exempt dually registered exchanges from duplicative rules.

The bill excludes permitted stablecoins from CFTC and SEC regulation, except regarding anti-fraud authority and specified transactions on registered entities.

So two regulatory bodies are tasks to work on this and it depends on the type of blockchain. It doesn't look like there's going to be much of a problem passing this bill unless the CFTC and the SEC opposes and they have enough Senators that supports them.

So I read that it's basically fattening a pig before slaughtering them. That's a long build up and I can see why some people would fall victim to this scheme.

I also didn't know there's a term for that but we have a similar saying in our local language 'pinapataba muna bago katayin'.

People will only think that scam is only found in crypto related activities,
Who are these people that you are referring to? Whoever they are, I doubt they are that ignorant to think it's only happening in crypto.

I lost this one too but the close fight still made it worth betting on. I think Fury played too much in the early round. We all know that it's part of his fighting style but, in a fight with so much at stake, nobody could afford to waste a round.

I will probably go with the Dallas Mavericks here at -1.5, it's their homecourt and it's crucial that they don't want a game 7 as maybe the young body of OKC might take over.
You must be so disappointed in PJ Washington right now for missing the last free throw ;D

What a dramatic end to the game. SGA will probably look back at this game thinking of that last foul. It was still a great season for him and I'm looking forward how he and that young Thunders team will mature and improve next season

As it turns out, the bookies were right picking the Wolves as the favorite for game 6.

With the exception of Gordon and Jokic, the Nuggets team were out there throwing bricks. Down by as many as 50? Nobody would expect a score line like that and, if not for their good team reputation, some would think they threw this game for a game 7.

I was double dead on that game as i bet before the started and i thought that i got a good ML odds of 2.06 but the Wolves surge in the first half and led by as much as 25 points then i put another bet, this time with a spread of 17.5, again i thought that the Nuggets would come back just like what they are doing before but you are right, they were throwing bricks.
LOL I know a lot of people who lost their bet on Nuggets but there were also others who were rejoicing. Some of them were so bold that they pick Wolves -10.5 handicap. Anyway, let's move on and just wait until game 7. I don't plan to bet too soon.

For game 6 between Mavs and Thunders, I'm picking the younger team to force a game 7. They might surprise everyone just like the Wolves did to the Nuggets

^ Nobody cares about those fights ;D

Seriously speaking, Belal can finally shut up and focus on training as he finally got the title shot that he wanted for so long.

I'm not hating on Aspinall or underestimating him but this is probably Blaydes' best chance of winning the title. I'm likely to pick fight not going the distance here.
