Title: Do you still believe in old coins?
Post by: MrSpasybo on August 16, 2021, 11:32:36 PM
In the list of top coins, besides new famous names like Solana, Polygon, Polkadot, Terra, Cardano… there are still many famous old projects from last season like EOS, IOTA, Litecoin, Waves, NEO, TRON... Many people say that these are old platforms and are considered "zombie platforms" because they don't have many users now. Many people even mock them and say they will soon be replaced by newer, stronger, more user-friendly projects.

Personally, I still believe that each token has its own moment. The old projects have been around for about 3-4 years, and the team has enough time to perfect the technology and create a product for the community. This is very different from new projects that haven't run testnet/mainnet or MVP yet, everything is still just a promise on paper… Also their community is huge, and these tokens are absolutely worthy for whales to select and pump/dump.

I still spend most of my assets on quality old projects like Ethereum, EOS, IOTA, NEO, TRON. I still assume they have x100 potential in this bullrun.

Do you own old coins? Do you still believe in their future?

Old coins are stronger and would pump hard once bullrun occur. Yeah, there is time for everything. Time to pump and a time to dump. Time for new coins/tokens to be on the spotlight. However, bullish and attraction is reversible on its own time.

Stake the old coins to earn passive income while waiting for its great come back is the best for now.

Sometimes my father's said that " old is gold " . If we compared this statement in crypto then probably he is right !!
Old coins have already make a trust by users and investers,  only genuine project have a long life in crypto field .
I also have 80% of my crypto portfolio in old project like etherium  , etherium classic  , btc etc , and ofcource they still did 100X from here  , but we need to give time for it 😉

I always believe in old coins, they are proven for many years and survive very well. For the long-term purpose, I prefer to buy old coins. I think old coins are safe coins to invest in, especially if you are newbies or want to plan for long holding. My favorite old coins are BTC, ETH, BNB, and ADA.  ;)

Old coins that have strong fundamentals will never lie.
they may not be significantly increased so much.
However, I personally don't hold all of them.
Some old coins such as:
- Of course Bitcoin and Ethereum
- LTC
- EOS
- Waves
- BNB
- Tron
and yeah DOT is litle bit interesting.

Despite of NFT hype. Old coins will remain strong and the performance to moon is imminent. Also they are a kind of coins that will survive even the market will crash.

The times are over, you can't just earn 100x with these coins.ETH at 300k? IOTA at 100 $? All of this is not realistic, but there are and will still be tokens that will easily reach 100x in a few weeks. And these are not the so-called "old coins". These will be new tokens that follow new trends. Many of them will only last a few weeks and then disappear again.
Such is the crypto market. We experienced that at the heyday of the ICOs, it will always be exactly the same.
But there are the constants in crypto, old coins, as you call them. If you invest and hold there, you won't go wrong.
Everything else is a bit more risky but can also bring a lot more profit.

It always depends on the goals. Mine are long term and passive income

i PREFER the old ones than the new projects. the money been pumped into some of these project will lead to their downfall. hard forks, voting and community dissagreement due to greed and personal interest. it is obvious that many of them will leave in the long run. just like verge and other token projects.
Title: Re: Do you still believe in old coins?

The old ones have clear understand of the things they want to do and if the team will continue on working for its development, persist on finding out new ways and means to make the project be relevant and of course do a good marketing that can penetrate and build a strong community, there is no reason why an old one will eventually be a zombie. Of course, there are those that have stopped innovating and can be considered as dead...those are the old ones we should be avoiding. With nee ones, there can be a heightened level of risks but of course there can be more excitement and that chance to maybe do the x10 or x100 with some though they also be a one-time wonder kids.

Yes, I think you're right, old coins is more profitable and Safe to invest than new coins..
Because  several new coins are scams. We must be careful to choose new coins.
If you you want more safety, I think old coins are the best choice.

But If you said more safety thats right, Im agree.
Newcoins are more profitable, because they will launch from bottom and grow fast.

Some are really good but some new coins are also useless collecting money and be dead soon due to lack of reliability and unstable platform.

Yeah, Ethereum and some other old coins that has been in crypto for more than 3 years are strong and has more strategic approach every time there is a new trend. Even though not a massive increase, but for sure it will rise. It takes time to build the Rome.

ethereum is very clear that it always gets the top choice of every new project that has emerged from the past so naturally ethereum will always get the best place from any side. but it took a long time to be like that and not easy, even though now many are growing the new platform ethereum is still the best. but it doesn't hurt to self-correct from the ethereum side so that there are improvements so that they are not cornered by other platforms.

Personally i believe what you call the old coins are the coins that has gotten the trust of people like eth and the rest of them, and if the bullrun comes these coins are likely to pump very high than this new coins tho in the crypto world you never know what to expect. But i am still a fan of this old coins.

There is faith in old coins, but it all depends on the coin, or rather, on the developers. More than once I have come across quite promising projects that disappeared after a while. But there were those who did not count on much, and they continue to live to this day.

I still very much believe in the old coins. As the blockchain and the cryptocurrency are advancing every day, the new coins can stand without depending on the success of the old coin. The old coins are not sleeping and the technology is advancing every day. They are advancing too.

Yes, I own a lot of old coins and I still believe in them. Tron and Litecoin are my favorites old coins from your list because still a lot of investors are into these two coins and that is why they still have a good volume in Coinmarketcap and in other coin platforms. Tron is my favorite because it has quick transactions and low-cost fees so I use it almost every day, and I like Litecoin because I still hope it will grow in value though it may take time.

It depends entirely on the coin. From a pump standpoint, an old coin or coin that isn't as heavy as Bitcoin / Ethereum, it is easier to move price. That said, it is fair to believe in something that is useful to you (outside of pumping it), which makes it circumstantial

Agree. It depends what coin is it. There are old coin with great innovation to cope up with the market trend. While there are also old coins that does not have new integration to go with the trend.

Innovation and relevant development for long term vision is a factor to invest in the old coins.

I believe in old coins that still release updates and follow their roadmap. Or in other words - a coin which is not simply traded and its chances of gaining price is only due to pumps. Any coin that continue to develop should be trusted. Because, no one would continue to develop scam or something they dont believe in.

The main problem of "old" coins is the speed of development of blockchain technology. The main thing is not to stop and continue to develop, and then they will definitely compete with any "young" project. Certainly, some "old" projects will sink into oblivion, but this is normal, this is how the world works.

I always buy old coins, especially those best old coins such as ETH, BNB, TRX, XLM, etc. I think old coins are still the best choices in the crypto market. We probably get bigger profits from buying new altcoins, but it is a very risky decision. I personally prefer to buy old coins that can be safer to put out money there.

It is clear that looking for safety in investment certainly cannot be separated from what we will do in choosing what coin is the best from the many coins that are available. The old coin in question is probably a coin that has entered the stock market for a long time, a minimum of 2 years and above.

Of course the top-ranked coins on CMC / CG are highly recommended to be very good investments, but the problem is that top rankings like Bitcoin and ethereum are quite expensive and difficult to buy, maybe alternatives are like ADA, DOT, BNB, SOL and you can also analyze yourself from looking at CMC / CG.

I may not agree that new coins are also not looked at because at this time there are quite a lot of good ones that are new and entering the exchange market and immediately poke at the best rankings too.
if for coins that are still on sale, of course it is very risky and agree with you not to buy it even though it is very profitable if it is successful, but it requires accurate analysis for this.

Yes, Litecoin is one of the fundamental assets, but it is gradually leaving the top of the rating. Younger assets move him down the list. That is, it becomes not that much in demand. What do you think about this?

Of course, the team has time to improve their projects and introduce new technologies in them, but when they are forgotten for many years, then it is very difficult to restart them and the investments are huge, and if they are forgotten, then there are no investors, I think so and stay in the antitope.

Of course at some point one of the old tokens will show good growth but by the time this happens the younger coins will show much higher growth.
This is the normal course of history.
Look at what coins were in '13 and where are they now? Then look at the top coins of '17 and where they are now.

Every asset in the cryptocurrency market is backed by technology. And one day this technology will become outdated, which means that the token along with it will be of no use to anyone. After all, every day new assets are released that have better characteristics.

Of course this is all true but i will also add this.
It should not be ruled out that earlier in '13 many projects just did a fork of bitcoin and said we were better (litecoin?)
And in '17 many projects just invested in marketing and that was enough to raise a lot of money.

I really believe in coins that have been around for a long time in the cryptocurrency market such as Bitcoin and Ethereum because these two coins taught me to be more patient to make money and this is the step I want and continue to trade with old coins.
Indeed, technology is now sophisticated and of course there are also many altcoins that exceed the advantages of Ethereum and Bitcoin but still all traders like investing in Ethereum and Bitcoin.

Famous projects should always remain in full view of all people. If the project is forgotten, then they begin to forget about it and of course it is lost among the rest, more successful. I do not think that developers will raise forgotten projects from the bottom, because it is better to create a new and promising one that will meet the modern requirements of the cryptocurrency market.

While some of the old coins are in the wallet, the trash tokens arrive. In fact, there is not much information about these coins. If we change the platform of many old coins, we will not be able to change the platform from that wallet again. As a result, the token is considered a garbage token.

Of course I still believe that saving coins for a very long time will give you a lot of profit, especially when you store in altcoins such as Dogecoin and Shiba some time ago the price is still very cheap, and now the price has become very expensive which has caused an uproar in the world. cryptocurrencies.

I believe a lot of old coins. Because the coins that were once at the top of popularity will improve as the market situation improves. like LTC, NEO, EOS, NEO, Waves, ADA, Doge, TRX . These coins will improve over time. Because the market situation has improved a lot from before. However, the new coins have a lot of influence in the market, leaving the old coins behind. However, the old coins are at the peak of popularity.

Of course, the team has time to improve their projects and introduce new technologies in them, but when they are forgotten for many years, then it is very difficult to restart them and the investments are huge, and if they are forgotten, then there are no investors, I think so and stay in the antitope.

Yes, I agree. After all, if the project has lost its relevance, then there is no point in reviving it. It is easier and more profitable to create something new than to take care of the old.

Of course I believe in Old Coins. These coins are much more acceptable to me. I believe either today or tomorrow these coins will be helpful in realizing your dream. If I were to give such an example I would speak of doggy coins. Which is one of the old coins but the current position of this coin is really appreciable. Never forget that "old is gold".

Many of the old coins have already fallen out. Some coins are now fine even in various adverse environments. As the market situation becomes much worse then the price of all the coins goes down. The #DevelopmentTeam  then tries hard to change the condition of the coin. Older coins are at the end of development, but if there is any new news ahead, the price will increase based on them. So the old coins have gained people's loyalty. So new investors invest in the old coins.

Yes of course, Old Coins sometimes surprise us.  But it would be better if we choose those old coins which have big volume and good rating.  There are actually many choices of these Old coins, but unfortunately we are more interested in buying and investing in new coins. Because it is undeniable that there are currently a lot of new coins that suddenly have a faster price increase and provide faster too profits.

It is true that all of them are established in the market and have the good positions. So definitely old coins are much better from the present or recently launched coins.

I feel most comfortable investing in new projects all the time. Because it is possible to make a lot of profit from the new projects that come in the market. But investing in older projects requires long-term planning. But if you want to invest in new projects, you must know and understand well. However, it is possible to benefit the most in a very short time. So the importance of new projects is the most.

Old currency valuations are currently the most popular in the market. Ricks of old coins tend to be less. Here people get the courage to invest and get good profits. So everyone invests here. If we hold on to old coins then we will definitely benefit one day.

I will always trust the old coins, even though there are many new coins/tokens trying to compete with the old coins/tokens. Currently 90% of the assets I hold are old coins/tokens such as bitcoin, ethereum, loitecoin, tron and finance.

holding old tokens/coins is much more relaxing.

Old projects and coins have an advantage over new ones only in that they have passed the test of time and survived in difficult conditions of the volatility of the cryptocurrency market. New projects are not always carefully thought out and therefore some of them disappear. But if they are made qualitatively and meet the requirements of the market, they can give their participants huge profits.

Cryptocurrencies are developing relatively quickly and some types of cryptocurrencies become a little outdated if the team is not worried about their competitiveness. I have a lot of tokens from 2017-2018 and most of them lie motionless and have no price. Only a few are still successful. Of course, this is not the case for top-end coins. Although we also see that new ones with better functional characteristics are constantly emerging. This is probably okay.

Here I agree with you, if the coin has existed for a long time, then this project is really time-tested and there is already confidence in it and you can invest in it even if the price tag for it is not high enough, so it is always good if the project has been on the market for a long time.

I agree if the old coins are top coins or coins with a high market cap and volume, I will refer to choose them.
And so far, we know that most old coins in the top coins still do not face their last ATH. So probably they still have a bigger chance to rise up and pass the previous ATH.

If you want to know my opinion, i am going to say  you are right . Because still all of this coin under development and the owner of this coin every time keep working to increase the popularity , use case of this coins everytime . If you look to tron, Justin Sun working hard to have good market cap for every time . Even to increase to value or demand of tron , Justin Sun daily burning up to 8 million  tron coin. Can you imagine this ?

On the other hand , the litecoin founder already sold all of this litecoin overs years ago and this lead the litecoin to be dead project because the owner has no responsibility anymore to boost this project .

Any projects that are successful in the cryptocurrency market are constantly evolving. If a coin stops developing and its developers are no longer looking for new ways to popularize it, it is almost doomed to gradual extinction. And the popularity of the coin gives it demand and this acts as an additional incentive for people to invest in it.

I would say that I am loosing fate in old altcoins. I've noticed, that either new, or meme altcoins are being pumped all the time during last 2 years. It is a very rare case that 3+ y.o project gets pumped or its price go up due to projects recent achievements.

I also believe in the old coins and I feel it's worth to hold because they have potential that's why they are still surviving
in the market otherwise they would have diminished by now. On the other hand, there are some new projects that is also good to hold for long-term.

The old coins were once new too but has undergone the test of time are more reliable because we have used them through time, ofcourse new ones may not be bad but until we check into them overtime too. Trust is built with time. In as much as they can deliver up to expectations, nothing stops people from investing in them. It's good we promote them, but no wise investor want to invest in unreliable project or coin.

Do you own old coins? Do you still believe in their future?

I have Bitcoin, Dogecoin they are old coins and they still have potential, we can consider coins old if they are 5 years old and have built up their community, and we have many coins in the market that's performing better than new coins, the market is evolving but so does these old coins, they are evolving and always in the trend.

Of course, old coins are more potential and have several time to face problems, I think their team and projects are really good.
I personally prefer invest in old coin, such ETH ,BNB, ADA
But also invested in new coins, because I think new coins are more potential.

I am a user of the old coins on the stellar and Waves network, although the price of both coins is still far from the current price of new coins, I still believe this platform will surprise the future like ethereum with some new ideas created in its ecosystem.
Today's new coins will definitely go through the same thing and we will see some new better blockchains in the future.

The old coins have already been tested by time and for a very long time. That is why there is such a lot of trust in them on the part of cryptocurrency enthusiasts. I also believe in the old top coins, because these are guarantees that you will make a profit in the future and the investment will be justified.

The old coins have the same bright future as many new coins that have recently appeared on the cryptocurrency market. I am sure that even after a few years, reliable coins will not lose their relevance and will be in the top. As long as people invest in them, the development of old coins will not stop.

They have big support and control the whole market conditions. Since mid-May, a grinding downturn has lopped about one-third off the value of the total cryptocurrency market, largely as a reaction to new restrictions that China imposed on its financial system. Many hype coins have dropped 90 percent.

I do not share your opinion. Compare the rating of assets three years ago and the current one, you will see that some assets fell out of the top ten, which means they did not retain their value. And if you look at the rating 5 years ago, then there is generally a lot of things that are now dangling somewhere at the very end of the rating.

Most of the new projects are having a lot of followers because investors believe that they bring new ideas and products to the front and I also agree with what you say, even some old projects still have juice but I just hope the des will actually come up with new ideas for their projects.

If we are talking about old coins, and not tokens, then we can agree that old coins, especially those in which a strong team and a coin continue to be updated and competitive, continue to enjoy trust and popularity. In my opinion, the same cannot be said for old tokens. So, there are relatively few tokens that appeared on the market in 2017-2019. Their holders, including myself, suffered losses if they tried to hold them for a long time. Of course, the situation in this market is constantly changing. Hopefully the current new tokens will be more successful.

Although the old coins have a high probability of profit, sometimes new coins can surprise us too much. If the main idea, offerings, team and investors of the project are good, I try to consider new coins as well.I can say the DEIP example for this right now.

Old coins are more safe than new coins.
But new coins are more profitable.
It depends on your coins that will you invest.

It's still a speculative and volatile investment. If you're not willing to lose the money you put into crypto by purchasing on an exchange, then you shouldn't put it in a crypto fund either. Carefully consider if you're willing to take on the risk of having cryptocurrency in your portfolio at all. Be ware. Part of the allure seems to be that, like gold, the supply of most cryptocurrencies is tightly controlled (by the computer programs that manage them).

agree, what you are saying is that it is and until now the good old coins still hold a market that is quite profitable for the holder.

it is clear that old coins still have the same opportunities as new coins which are growing very rapidly at this time. because now it's just a matter of how old coins can develop their system and be able to make customized innovations so that they are able to give confidence to investors and will continue to be able to exist.

so it just depends on the development carried out by the old coin to be able and able to give confidence to investors and will be able to provide profits. because investors will rely on that if it is still profitable it will still be held and used as an investment.

It depends on what type of coin you are talking about. I do support that old coin that's development is still ongoing and they have big community support. From crypto, I have seen one thing and that is without community support a project can not survive in crypto. A good project stay with the community and the community pushes it higher.

BTC, ETH, BNB, KCS, LINK, ENJ, MANA, ADA are a few of the old tokens that experienced strong growth during this bullrun, the majority of tokens went unnoticed and there was no significant growth. I very do believe in old coins, as you call them. Some of them have teams and developers that are more forward looking than the relatively newer projects. And for the fact the old projects are still around shows a layer of reliability

I'm interested in newer projects now, yes, it can be profitable in the past, but I like to invest in a new project that I trust and make a profit in the long run. It makes sense to me, for example, there are projects that I trust and think how good their future will be. Cirus will always be my favourite :)

I also still like to use old coins. As long as the liquidity is good, they can be valuable investments and are often less volatile than newer projects. They usually have less of a chance of multiplying their price in a short amount of time than popular new projects, but, in turn, they are also somewhat less risky.

I constantly invest in top cryptocurrencies which are trading on the cryptocurrency market already long time, because for me this is the most proven way to get profit from investing in cryptocurrencies, for example, recently there was a dump of the cryptocurrency market and I invested in various top cryptocurrencies, such as eos, litecoin, waves and in many others, since these cryptocurrencies will still show themselves when the new growth of the cryptocurrency market will begin.

I have lost my believe in old coins. The reason is simple - everyday market is flooded with new altcoin, which makes it hard for old ones to survive, recover or stand out. Old coins are not trendy anymore. Who needs more of the projects, that being developed for last year, if the world now need metaverse and p2e games?

In my opinion, some top coins in CoinMarketCap can still go up to new all-time highs because of their long term use cases and fundamentals. For instance, Bitcoin and Ethereum are likely the top ones for the long run because no matter if they go down, they would likely go back up stronger than before.

It’s all about making our own decisions, managing our risks, etc. However, there are old coins like Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, etc., that I don’t see as great long-term investments though. DYOR is still very important no matter which crypto that we want to invest.

Of course, the old ones have their place, but I think that new investments that shape the future will replace the old ones in the long run. yes, they keep up with the innovations in the past, but the projects that develop directly for the technology of the future are more logical. I personally like metaverse projects a lot, for example, the Solcial project has a great purpose and is a project for web 3. I am a follower of this project

I also ever success  and loss.

In the list of top coins, besides new famous names like Solana, Polygon, Polkadot, Terra, Cardano… there are still many famous old projects from last season like EOS, IOTA, Litecoin, Waves, NEO, TRON....

Do you own old coins? Do you still believe in their future?
The market is now working on hype, trends and financially strong community/influencers. If the old project can adopt trend in the market that could bring profit. IOTA, Litecoin, waves and EOS will likely struggle if more projects cant build on then and they cant also produce compatible decentralized exchange for token on their blockchain. Smart contract are now building a competitive platforms

It seems that Litecoin is indeed a legendary coin and it is very good for us to see the reaction at any time to be able to reach the new All Time High and for coins like EOS, IOTA, Waves, NEO, TRON the reaction is really lacking because I see this coin like less motivation anymore in the cryptocurrency environment.
But maybe there will certainly be surprises from the various coins above that have been mentioned because cryptocurrencies always have surprises because cryptocurrencies have a decentralzied character that anytime a coin can pump up quickly.

I don't know why for me, altcoins that are less considered to have more contributions to the cryptocurrency market I always ignore because I also see that the lifetime of these altcoins is also very less effective for the survival of cryptocurrencies.
I'm not criticizing old coins that already exist in the cryptocurrency space, but in fact these old coins are getting eroded by the times and the marketcap is getting lower, decreasing indiscriminately and dying.

The only way to get access to projects at their earliest stages is via launchpads. I'm sure you all been hearing about PARAGEN launchpad that just launched at it's really spreading out so fast. Paragen tokens Rgen IDO was sold out at all stages and now listed on pancakeswap and coinmarketcap. It's a pretty good one in my opinion.

It is common for the value of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to fluctuate. As you are aware, the cryptocurrency price is not constant. I have observed certain discussions on various social media channels where people are talking about cryptocurrency replacing fiat money within a decade, among other things. However, the reality of the situation is that it cannot be replaced by any means whatsoever, no matter how hard you try. Both fiat and cryptocurrency may co-exist with distinct functions and use cases, while in terms of cryptocurrency, having a decent coin like $RGEN is a fantastic one to have, and it is already listed on pancakeswap and can be followed on coinmarketcap as well as other exchange platforms.

Although several investors started to join IDO or ICO, but old coins are still being favourited.
I hold several old coins, beside also new coins.

dinocoins are dead. I prefer to invest on quality new projects such as IOEN. IOEN team is working for better world and I appreciate it. Money isn't everything but the world is! Less energy crisis will turn that cruel place to a better place!
Clean energy is necessary! I hope IOEN will get an attention from investors soon or it'll be too late for everyone. People are killing the world and we need to change that! IOEN team  got my interest and respect so far.

Well, new projects are more risky but if you find a quality one, it'll be more profitable for sure. I'll look IOEN whitepaper to see if it's potent. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Yeah, I do. Even though not all old coins, but there are still some with great potentials whose community and ecosystems are still developing till today.
I am still hodling some bags of old coins that I ain't planning to sell anytime soon.

However, there are some new projects now that have got massive potentials that one must not miss out on especially as web 3 is now trending in the crypto space.

I got to know about Unilab, a great platform that is built to solve the cross-cutting concerns across the life-cycle of smart contract development, deployment & management for everyone.

Just by hodling the native token of Unilab ecosystem, called Ulab token, you will have full access to the premium features loaded in Unilab platform.

I see Ulab token competing with the giant old coins in a matter of time.

If you talk about risk, I agree with you. Old coin is more safe than new coins.
But new coins are more profitable than old coins that grow slowly.
But It depends on your confidence, If you believe and confidence in old coins, do it.
I personally invest in old coins and also new potential coins.

I have full confidence in the old currencies. Because old coins always come with good profits. When we go to invest, we must invest in old currencies because we expect good profits Can be done. If the old currency market is dumping I may soon return to the pumping position.
Old coins with a high level of capitalization have always been rightfully considered the most reliable in cryptocurrency. Bitcoin and ethereum are among the first and oldest coins in the cryptocurrency market and they have the highest popularity. Of course, the cryptocurrency does not stand still, some coins are improving, others are falling in their popularity. This is a natural process.

In the last year's bull run, many old high potential coins did not move much because there was hype for meme coins so old coins did not perform as expected. Investors still hold or trust those coins in my opinion but new investors majorly look for the new coins apart from the top coins. Ethereum and Tron are still hot coins to buy as compared to other coins you mentioned. No doubt they have potential but don't know how much they will grow I would advise you to check ADA and Matic these both are good for the long term as they are developing their chains like Ethereum.

Not every old coins, however few old coins/tokens with great potential can be good to hodl for long term. Back in 2017, there were many coins/tokens which was in top 100 rank and now many of those are vanished or not event in the top 200 rank because those projects weren't having any usecase after all. So old coins/tokens with real usecase can be good to hodl or believe for long term.  ;)

You are right that meme coin is very high risk if held long term, but if we buy at the beginning and sell when it goes up, we can get big profits. Remember that with greater profits the risks are also greater. It is safer for the coins you mentioned bitcoin, ethereum, BNB and Solana

Unfortunately the current price of memecoin is very high so if I say buy early then I have to wait for the price to fall again to get the opportunity to buy meme coin at a cheap price again. But you need to know that not all meme coins have the opportunity to increase their prices many times. What is clear is that in meme coin we have to be careful and never store assets in Meme coin for too long.

I believe in most of the reputable old altcoin because they are already established and one can find it very difficult to lose investment or to lose complete assets, this coin can withstands any market pressure and condition without folding or waving out completely as newly altcoins do behave most times. From my observation, there are some people memecoin that can't stand in bear run but those old altcoin that are already established seems to be more trusted and reliable to hold.

The old coins are very good but the truth is that those that always have movement, but if we talk about projects that have been good at the time, they had their good time and are currently down, well the truth is that I believe one, no, their time has passed and There is no type of opportunity, that is what I believe, however those who have it, well, one respects that, but I am not one to trust projects or old coins that are currently at the same price and do not move or move. , it's very difficult for them to come back and that's something that doesn't make any sense to me.

Those who are more believers maybe yes, but I am very realistic, for me there is no opportunity anymore, especially if they were at a maximum point and now they are very low, that for me must be ruled out.

Old traders mostly invest in old cryptocurrencies because they have more experience and understand that old and mature cryptocurrencies provide better opportunities for long-term or even short-term because they tend to be more stable and trustworthy. You can expect to get some returns from an investment that you make at the right time and in the right cryptocurrency that is old and has been performing very well over the years.

New traders and investors mostly eye newly launched cryptocurrencies because they feel new projects have a higher probability of providing better returns but this is only for short-term because you can't entrust your money in a project that is new if you are making a long-term investment.

Most times investors looks for such project that is why they are always falling victim of dump, like those new coin easily dump on those investors who aren't smart about their investment.

Do you own old coins? Do you still believe in their future?
Yes, because soon it looks like there will be a bullish moment, there's no harm in holding coins that we considered trash some time ago. It is very possible if there is an increase of up to x100 because basically coins with high volatility will more easily get large multiplications.

However, never buy too many old coins that don't shine very well, this could be a big risk too, considering the possibility that the coin will die. Moreover, selling moments are also a little difficult to predict, we still don't know whether this year's cycle is real or just a big hoax.

It is very risky to hold a coin that only relies on hype when it is bullish. but there's no harm in trying it. There are potential meme coins like pepe, we can try to buy and hold them while waiting for bullishness

Memecoins like Pepe and others do have very high risks and have no guarantee of profit that can be obtained, but if you want to try your luck in Pepe then you can use quite a small capital to buy several Pepe after which you can keep them for a long time.

A large number of investors prefer to take risks. They invest in some new coins so that they can make more profit in a faster time. As there is a great opportunity to be profitable but if the investment is not right place, there is a possibility of losing a lot of money. I am personally risk averse and interested in investing in projects whose coins are listed on a good exchange and fundamentally strong. But if someone invest in old coins than investing in new, he can get better results. Old projects do not give temporary profit but in long term it will give us big return.

All investment, I mean cryptocurrency investment are all risk factored investment and of course people needs to take risk to make their investment, it could be that whatever amount that they are using to invest is the amount they can afford to lose hence making them to venture into new coins would fetched them money. Old coin or reputable coin are for long term holding but most of them doesn't give do well again after making their ATH. Coin like LTC, EOS, NEO and some other coins.

That means you are lacking in coin analysis or new projects.
If you're not good enough at analysis, you can see how other people's recommendations or discussions about the new project are.

Now many new crypto projects are emerging and even quite a lot, let alone memecoin projects that are being hyped.
You need to do detailed research whether it is a good project or not to invest in.

If you're an early adopter and do some research that the project is good and everyone says so, then that's your chance to get in.
Don't just come in and invest because many scams do occur and target people who don't do research.

and honestly I also still believe in old coins or top coins, because those coins in the Top 10 CMC already have a good reputation and are more guaranteed, provided you also enter at the right time.

Of course I love old coins. Because most of the coins that have created excitement in the market are old coins. All coins from Bitcoin to TOP are very old. Currently I am moving forward with coins such as bitcoin, ethereum solana bnb etc among the old coins but hopefully in the future I will have a lot of success with all these coins. People are now afraid to trust new coins more than old coins because new coins need more time to gain people's trust. There is a saying in our mother tongue that the older the rice, the more rice.

and honestly I also still believe in old coins or top coins, because those coins in the Top 10 CMC already have a good reputation and are more guaranteed, provided you also enter at the right time.
If you only look at those top 10 altcoins, then maybe you should start widening your view of good altcoins. There are old coins that are not in the top 10 but are still considered to be one of the best options to choose when finding an altcoin to add to your portfolio.

to OP, yes, I still believe in those old coins, adding old coins is still my preference, especially in every bear market. That's one of my priorities to bag as there are more data to see and possibilities of how far they can get on the next bull run. I also feel more comfortable investing in them, but I don't limit investing only to those old coins, there are still new coins that we should consider investing in and looking to take the opportunity to make a profit.

If a new coin is successful, investors will get big profits, but don't forget the risk of losing is also very big. Several times I tried to invest in new projects and experienced losses, this is the reason why I prefer old coins
I agree with this opinion, if the new coin/token project is successful we will get big profits because buying it at a price that is not yet popular and over time the coin price will increase if the project is good and really needed. but talking about risk, of course the risk of new coins is quite big and bigger than old coins, that's why big investors prefer old coins like bitcoin and ethereum

I still have some old coins that I have bought so far in my wallet. But the majority of them have recently risen to be listed on the top exchanges, in fact.
Because at this time, there are many new potential coins that I also see having a good price in the future.

But even so, of course, anyone still needs to do their own research so that they have no regrets in the end in this field of cryptocurrency.

I also invested in two new coins that have arrived in the market recently. But sadly, instead of making profit on the coins, my invested assets lost half of its value. If I had bought some old coins, I might not have faced such a big loss. I don't blame anyone for my investment but I should have been more careful in my coin selection. New coins create temporary hype and after a long time those coins become bullish. It is better to invest in those coins which have created reliance in the  market. If an investor does not want to take risk then it is definitely safe to invest in old coins.

The old coin I have is Airt. The reason I keep the old coin is their potential high value, which I believe may happen this year. According to the prediction and analysis of users that hold it and exchange it, a big jump in value can happen what can be follow on the Coinmarketcap site. The future is secure, it is almost evident from the daily trading on the exchange.

There is no doubt that new coins have higher risks when compared to old ones because those that are old have been around for quite some time and can be trusted more than the new ones, but I believe most investors already know the risks involved and they still invest in newly launched cryptocurrencies only because they believe new coins and tokens have the potential to provide more profit in shorter timeframes.

Though I agree with the fact that new coins and tokens grow quickly if they are meant to grow, I'm not a fan of making large investments in them because you can't take big risks with your hard earned money and as you said, one should instead invest that money in more trustworthy cryptocurrencies that have been in the market for very long.

New coins are more risky so before investment it was necessary for you to check about the nature of that coin and I also don't recommend to put money into just old coins because old coins are also not all worthy.

I think that we should not say that avoid new and accept old because there are also many old coins which are still lower in its worth so you can choose both old and new coins but If the coin possess the potential to make profit for you easily.

First of all a person should invest in top coins because the top coins possess the potential to increase in its worth but all other coins whether its old or new possess some risk so keep predicting about the details of coins prior to utilize your money for its investment.

Yeah especially with Bitcoin, Ethereum, Doge and others but this season a lot of investors are into the hype of new coins like Solana, Blast, Base as they know that it is way more profitable in this coins due to the hype. I am personally into it as well but so far haven't had a decent profit yet because I am on a trial and error phase so hopefully I'll get what my goal is.

It is true, new altcoins are riskier nowadays. If we have no good ability in analyzing the new altcoins, it is better to choose top altcoins. Sure, the top altcoins are mostly old coins which have been proven for many years. I think it is the only way to have safe investment in crypto. It is not easy to analyze new coins today, there are too many shitcoins. The shitcoins just risk our money very much, they don't deserve to be our assets.

All investments are risky, both old and new coins, but new coins are higher risk than new coins. This is what makes us have to be careful when investing in new coins, because there are many scams there. The reputation of the team is also unclear.

I think cryptocurrency industry is a place for the smart people and is also best known to people who can utilized every single opportunity that comes across their ways. That is to say, knowing when to invest, knowing when to take profits and knowing when to hold; this could be for long term or for short term. The main point is not getting scammed by anyone it could be project team or from fellow investors. Just like those coin I mentioned above most people already sold out meaning people holding them is like having empty coin, the smart people has already taken their profits.

I still believe in old coins, just not all of them. Even coins that you believe will not explode will, exactly like doge. If you remember, doge coins were formerly worthless, and you could even acquire them for free because they had no value, but they are now worth about $0.14. How much more with the old coins, which have an attractive roadmap. But I admit that there are good old coins that are safe to invest in but do not provide high profits. We need to keep away from them so that you can maximize your gain.

Though knowledge doesn't always waste, when we study new coin we also gain vast knowledge by studying and as well as keeping records maybe when similar coin or token are being launched then we can know how to channel our investment in order to protect them. Most times what happened is that people don't always keep records of some techniques these scammers and fake projects do use that is why we often finds people falling victim of scam coin/project all the time.

Whenever I can't decide which coin I will invest my money with, old coins or what I call as "established" coins are my go-to coins.

For me, I'm mostly a conservative type of investor that's why I always put most of my money in old coins. Old or established coins for me has a lesser risk although the rewards are lower as well but having a lower reward would be better for me than investing into a new project that has a high chance for it to be a scam coin.

I know some here has a huge allocation towards high market cap coins as well and that would be better as it lessens our risk in our investment. On the other hand, as long as you're ok just in case you lose your money towards investing into new coins then I guess putting some of our money into them is also good as well but don't go all in on them.

Of course old coins or what you mentioned as established coins, are the right choice to invest in, because the risk is lower than new coins which are prone to fraud. I always choose top coins as the coin of choice for medium and long term holding. Such as bitcoin, ethereum, BNB and Solana

Yes i still believe old coin os better. Already pumped and many old coin also pumping. I am holding now Doge, matic, Pbr, and some other's coin. I think this coins price also increasing.

So i think Bitcoin in this season old coin price also will up and i will be huge profitable there has no doubt. And i still believe old coin is best.

If the price rises, it is possible that the price of old coins that are still held by investors will also rise, especially old coins that are still in the top 10 coins such as doge. Keep holding and waiting for the Bitcoin price to rise and we will see how much the old coin can rise again as before.

An ancient coin that has survived to this day means that it has had a system that is starting to improve. If a coin had a bad history from the start, I am sure it would not have survived to this day and might have disappeared from circulation.

ETH was born and survives today with strong community support... while many ancient coins have also disappeared due to very poor development. So, any ancient coins that still exist today, most likely still have good progress, so most of them are still good and worthy of being used as an investment medium.

Yes, I agree.. It will still depend on what coins we hold. As long as it is a coin that has potential, the fundamentals are good, and the market cap is high enough, there is no reason to hold it. Like ETH, BNB, XRP, Doge, and also LTC. But if it's a shit coin, it's better to let it go and forget about it. Because many of the coins are old and have turned to ashes, then they are like trash in our wallets

There are numerus cases like that were a famous crypto influencer and investors just come and tweets about a particular coin you would see people rushing to go invest thinking that person has already endorsed the project without knowing he is doing that for a self interest to cash out big time.

          -  Eth, Doge, bnb, Ada, Vet, Nem, Qtum, and Waves are just some of the old coins that, if we look at their daily volumes, we can't say are bad because the large amounts are, honestly speaking. That's why the only problem with others is that there is no new development happening in the market; it seems like typical trading is happening.

Unlike what is happening with Ethereum, BnB, we can say that there are really gimmicks or marketing strategies that are happening in the crypto market, which is why most community investors flock to it.

I still spend most of my assets on quality old projects like Ethereum, EOS, IOTA, NEO, TRON. I still assume they have x100 potential in this bullrun.

Do you own old coins? Do you still believe in their future?
I have leave my EOS and IOTA holdings but yeah Ethereum and Neo that I still kept holding till now but also Bitcoin is my priority above all those coins , and indeed that old coins is still profitable but as long as we are investing in strong old coins and not those who have been known as shitcoins.

I believe on new coins due to change of buyers thinking and trend change. In past traders was loving to trade low risk coins having potential in long term and now traders love to take risk and new coins are generally more volatile than old coins. Secondly If we see the growth and new update of projects then it is clear that new project have strong community and regular updates. I love only Ethereum and Tron old coins which is backbone of altcoins. Our main goal is to make profit regardless of which coin we are investing.

I remember a lot of them and yes, they're not bad at all in terms of volume but they're almost forgotten and they're able to overtaken by the newest projects. In terms of the market choice, it's all about what makes the sound noisier and how they're able to maintain that noise and as for those other projects that you've mentioned that have been quite old and no longer popular but still getting a good volume, it's probably because of their good community that keeps it.

Yes, it's true that if we can, we can buy coins before the hype, and when the hype is over, we will get a profit from our trading. Therefore, it is very important for us to have a community in cryptocurrency trading, because with the community we can get information about potential coins for us to trade. And then we can do further analysis for these coins, whether we want to buy them or not.

That's not that easy to find potential coins if you hear a coin just from the community some of them just promoting a coin you must DYOR always.
Old coins that are not so well-known are now dying slowly but not all maybe this is not the time to see these old altcoins to perform well before the block halving.
Since these days is not altcoin season yet maybe next year we will see these other coins will perform well during altcoin season.

Yes, old coins that have no potential and popularity will slowly die, but old coins that have been in the top 20 coins are still around today. We can invest in old coins, if we want bigger profits we can invest in new coins, but we know the risk of new coins is greater

Take note of top 20 coins on coinmarketcap/coingecko but not all of them are good like meme tokens like Shiba inu its just hype right now but it is not a good investment for the long term it can die in the future because it does not actually have any use unless developers develop a project that can use these token that can burn tokens once you use this token on that project.

Exploring the top 20 coins on coinmarketcap or coingecko is too much in my opinion. It's best for safer trading to lock up the top 10 coins and keep them safe because I really believe these top 10 coins have a chance of becoming very expensive someday. Because basically they succeeded in being in the top 10, meaning they have a lot of supporters, so this makes me believe that the project they are developing is very good and of interest to many people.

I still spend most of my assets on quality old projects like Ethereum, EOS, IOTA, NEO, TRON. I still assume they have x100 potential in this bullrun.

Do you own old coins? Do you still believe in their future?
Well, I don't own a single coin or token of any old project, but that does not mean that I no longer believe in them, I actually do believe in them that they will well in the bull run, but then, I will still prefer to invest in new projects.

If you take a look at the top 100 coins on coinmarketcap, you will discover that 90 percent of the projects listed in the top 100 on coinmarketcap are new projects from maybe 1, 2, 3 to 4 years ago, all other old projects like as from 6 to 7, 8, 9 to 10 years ago have all faded away and lost in the top 200 and beyond, this simply means that, they have had their time, and right now, they are indeed, being replaced buy much more better and newer technologies, this is specially with projects that their founders no longer give that much attention to like they did in the past years when the project was still as much newer.

So, for me, I will prefer to invest in new projects, we have alot of new project from 1 to 2 to 3 years ago that haven't seen any bull run yet, and they have good products to their name, example is CHAINGE (XCHNG), Research this project and you will understand perfectly what I mean.

If a coin is old and they are not even sitting above top 20, I don't get bother about that so long they have a working product, they can achieve anything they want to become with time and consistency. It doesn't have to be the way other coins are hype without having anything to show as working. If a coin is project is good, people will come for it.

If you look at Solana journey, they were at the top 10 before they fell off due to their mistakes with FTX but they were able to make a come back due to their hard working nature and the fees that are cheap on their blockchain.

The top 10 coins or 20 coins in the market are popular enough that they have billions of marketcaps in the crypto world. so they must be trusted because huge amount of investors have already invested here. coins that have investors are less likely to be scammed. Although we have also seen top coins like LUNA, UST crash. Investment means risk, so you have to accept this risk for investment.

LUNA was a bad experience for investors who invested in top coins in the past. Many were disappointed at that time. but in my opinion the chance of losing on old coins is smaller than on new coins, so we don't need to be afraid of investing in old coins because old coins are more popular and many investors hold them, new coins are prone to fraud.

Yes due to popularity and big investors but the problem is how you are sure that these few coins are not controlled by whales like toncoin and ripple are still under this which has no improvement since before they always had issues with the SEC that I think is manipulated to keep the price low and then good news will happen that will push the price high.

Pretty hard to know which one is good to invest but for now, diversification is very important if you fail to one of the coins you choose and you are lucky to other coins then you have a 50/50 to make a profit but if you only select one coin to hold for a long time except for major coin you might get negative profit.

It is not easy to buy before the hype, the hype is something difficult to predict. There is no prediction that has 100% accuracy, it is strange if someone can do it. It is enough that we do research but it is no guarantee at all. The research may be wrong because of many factors. However, if we do it, it is already the right way. Anyway, if you invest in old coins, it won't spend too much time for the research because the history of old coins are very clear.

Most of those who are playing on degen or meme coins do really tend to find themselves with those coins which its hype is on the rooftop on which this is something that could possibly make them rich but since we are speaking about old coins then this is something that will really be just that depending into its utility on which if we do tend to look at on the current top #10 as of todays ranking then this is something that will really be composed of those old coins. Only a few ones which are new would really be able to climb up that high but of course only
a few would really be able to make it out and always think that everything would really be according to demand and recognition.

I have investments both new and old. According to my knowledge an investor should not only invest in old coins or only new coins but any new or old can be profitable for the investor. New coins have more hype due to which investors can get quick profits. But not all new coins can generate the hype. It is possible to get profit by investing in some new projects that have strong fundamentals. On the other hand, there are some older coins that lead the entire crypto market. Especially Ether BNB and Tron which are known as profitable platforms for investors. However,  in new coins investors generally get quick profits but in old coins they have to wait a long time after investing.

Yes, new coins will make us gain profits faster and don't forget that new coins will also give us greater losses. If we don't have a good analysis of new coins, we will get bad coins, isn't it difficult to predict whether this coin will be hyped or not?

There are many coins in the market and many of the coin markets are very old but not all coins can be trusted. Those of us who are involved in crypto currency must have enough knowledge about the correct and old coins in the market.  Coins that have been in the market for a long time as well as coins that are full of potential and coins that can be relied on are old coins but we can keep a list of choices for investment. There are some coins that are seat coins but have been in the market for a long time, I would not put those coins in the list of investment preferences because these coins are not reliable at all. Not only must it be old but also must be reliable then the coin will be right for investment.

Just believing in old coins as an observer is not the same as being a part of it, being a holder. In today's period, many coins stand out as high-quality, constant in their value and development, more than 50. You can find them on popular websites.

It's best to choose the top 10 coins, the majority of which are old and reliable coins. because the rank proves they are in the top position. There are also investors who invest with new coins because they want faster profits. I think everyone has their own considerations

If you are someone who would really be tending to at least playing it safe then you would really be definitely be coming after with those top coins or projects on which they have prove out themselves that they are better than on most projects in the market but we know that there would really be those people who would really be going into those shit coins
or to those meme coins on which they do know that they could really be able to make huge money when it gets pumped. THis is something that motirvates them to
make investment even though its risky but well there would really be those people who would really be loving on taking up the risks.
