As it was before, there were a lot of scam projects, many projects when there was a rush of cryptocurrencies wanted to earn money, collected money for the development of the project and went into the sunset with this money.

Scammers will always be there to scam the hunters or investors. They do intentionally scam the people. They don't care about anyone they just want money only so once they collect a hefty amount then they run away even we have seen many project rugs pull but if we all get paid in other currencies like BTC, Eth, BNB, or USDT that would be good for all the hunters at least they will be sure that they will get something at the end of the campaign but the fact is paying in other currencies other than native token projects hardly there.

We are seeing fake or scam campaigns for several years. Most of the projects are usually scams when they say they are not getting enough response. If the project succeeds they usually paid hunters though there is some exception about it. Scammers are getting a new way of scamming day by day and you can not stop it.

Just recently we are beginning to have some Twitter campaign giving hunters reward in btc in the service section. This is one sure way to take off this muster that seem like a cancer called bounty scam.

I'm believing that gradually, will may start seeing the inclusion of other social media signatures like Facebook, LinkedIn, medium, article, videos, blogs and many more, coming up in  both bounty section and service. I'm sure that hunters will prefer social media signature than the scam going on in the board.

I guess one reason that we are seeing that Twitter campaign is because of the audit which takes care of non real followers of an account. So if your Twitter account isn't made of real followers, you stand no chance of being selected. The audit is surely to check out accounts with fake followers and that is also good to stop scamming.

Looks like you didn't know that the Signature campaign has been paying out in BTC for a long time now. I have participated in BTC paying signature campaigns for a while now and just even concluded on one recently over BCTalk and I believe that there might be ones here too even though I haven't partaken here yet. BTC tweeter paying campaign is new to me cos I know these are mostly under Alts Bounty.

when there is a bounty scam in my opinion it has become a common thing because there have been so many bounty campaigns that look like that and this is sometimes not the fault of the bounty manager, but purely the fault of the developer who does not pay the bounty campaign participants.
