Transaction fees: the biggest problem for crypto community in future?

Unfortunately, it is. People are starting to use the blockchain where transactions are cheap. As long as the coin is cheap, then the transactions are cheap. But as more and more people start using it, so does the transaction price.

The price of an asset is just one indicator that the cost of transactions is enormous. For comparison, take the same Ethereum and Bitcoin. The price of the first cryptocurrency is several times higher than Ethereum, but the cost of transactions is relatively low. It still depends on how many projects "weigh" in the blockchain.

Ethereum is trying to solve this problem, and I think that within two years it will solve it, but today there are already many other projects where fees are almost zero, and in some even zero.

Altcoins are developing very quickly, the competition between them is growing. Therefore, they will be forced to constantly reduce transaction fees. Yet, the Ethereum people seem to have a hard time fixing this problem on their faces...are they really that inutile enough or maybe they are delaying the solution to further enrich those people making big bucks out this situation? I can't believe so many people still support Ethereum high gas fees, I think right now the transactions on eth network are meant for the rich alone,if they keep this up I doubt if retail traders will still be able to use it.

I don't agree , We suffering because of high gas fee .
I think Ethereum gas fee is so high.
Ethereum transaction fee is the biggest problem for crypto currency in the future.
I think many projects should migrate to other smart contract platform that lower transaction fee.

Many people complain and suffering because expensive gas fee and many projects have integrated to Ethereum platform.
Maybe It won't effect to big investors, whales .
But for us, It's annoying and we can do transaction because this problem.
Ethereum team should hear about investor complain.

Other layer 1 and layer 2 protocols are popping up. Least of them are Arbitrum, Optimism etc. They are making less noisome. Even Polygon and Fantom are huge go-to alternatives

yeah, binance smart chain is one of the best alternate smart contract platform.
BSC is faster and cheaper transaction fee than Ethereum.
If Ethereum dev didn't solve gas fee problem, it will be the big problem at the coming future.
Agree with opinion, Ethereum 2.0 will be leaved by investors.

Actually this is unnatural, although it looks normal in decentralization, why ethereum is just exploding in its fees at the moment. Some people who only trade for small amounts suffer greatly from high gas costs. They are even willing to not use the ethereum network even some actually leave the ethereum network because their fees are very expensive, it will not cover their profits due to high transaction fees.

After all the time that has passed since high transaction fees started to be an issue, I think the #DevelopmentTeam  has had plenty of time to fix it. Fewer projects are being released on the Ethereum platform every day, and that's the only thing that will make developers do something about it in the future. We have been able to verify that the developers are not going to do anything no matter how much the community continues to complain.

I think developer will never have good solution for Ethereum gas fee that many people complain about it.
I also heard for several senior, this problem won't be solved.
And they predicted the project will migrate to  binance smart chain,  polyggon and cardano.
It's just their prediction.
But hopefully Ethereum developer have good solution.

Polygon, Binance Smart Chain, Solana... Fortunately we have several alternatives available. The #DevelopmentTeam  is aware of this, so the future of Ethereum is in their hands. It's up to the Ethereum #DevelopmentTeam  to figure out what to do to make sure people continue to use the Ethereum chain. Users don't wait, they need fast and cheap chains and Ethereum stopped being that a long time ago, if they don't solve it every day Ethereum will lose more users and projects.

I do not think that high transaction costs will continue to be a big problem for cryptocurrency market participants. Now there are already about 20,000 different types of cryptocurrencies, and over time, their number will only increase. Such a large number of cryptocurrencies will inevitably lead to fierce competition between them, including competition for the lowest transaction fees. Cryptocurrencies with high transaction fees will not be used and will be forced out of this market.
