New bullrun phase: will DOGE be the leader?

Coinbase Pro, the professional trading arm of the Coinbase cryptocurrency exchange, has begun accepting inbound transfers for Dogecoin (DOGE), setting the stage for wider adoption of the meme-based digital asset.

DOGE trading will be rolled out in three phases, the exchange said. Traders will be able to access the coin via BTC, ETH, USDT, the U.S. dollar and the euro.

A positive news for DOGE investors and meme coins, I think DOGE price will increase and continue to try at $1. However, this is not the most important thing, I think the DOGE boom can be the spark and signal for the new bullrun phase.

From the beginning of the season so far, BTC has been the leader for the bullrun, but currently its price has been kept below $45K and has a rather negative impact on the entire market. It is clear that the market needs a new leader for this bullrun, enough to make investors believe in the crazy growth of the crypto market.

And when it comes to madness, I don't think DOGE has a rival.

The growth of DOGE price will make investors believe that the bullrun is still ongoing and can profit from the market in 2021. Whales also want to pump DOGE more than pump BTC because they want to accumulate more BTC at low price below $45K. I myself believe BTC will also get a positive impact from DOGE growth and will return to $60K soon.

I don't think Doge can be leader. Many people are waiting for Elon Musk to continue talking about Doge as they watch the market slowly "recover". But personally I think that when a new bull run arrives, the protagonists will go back to being Bitcoin and Ethereum, especially to accumulate as much as possible and stake on ETH 2.0. Doge is likely to move up, but not enough to lead.

Although Coinbase pro has delared to accept inbound Doge coin transaction but i think Doge coin is a bubble of Elon Musk. I haven't find any positive sign in a Meme coin like Doge.

Perfect, Only Bitcoin is the leader of cryptocurrency and other coins will compete with each other over the years. Once a coin enters in top 10, goes out of top 20 laters. This is competition like player ranking which has ups and downs or regular changes.

The leader is bitcoin and altcoins are just follower of bitcoin.
Maybe we will see altcoins are doing better than bitcoin at the next several months.
But they will depend on bitcoin progress.
Bitcoin will lead almost all of altcoins to grow up again.

I would think, what if the price of DOGE reaches $1 and immediately goes up to 2nd place past the Ethereum market cap.
It may take a lot of time to see DOGE coin in first place, because other altcoins have good fundamentals and Bitcoin existed before Dogecoin existed.

Unfortunately, it is not that easy to push a meme coin like DogeCoin to the moon and in this case just because Coinbase is listing it does not mean that it can go pump and have a new ATH. All I can see in Dogecoin is mostly hypes and speculations and less of use-cases and solid adoption. I am sure that DogeCoin has a good potential but it is still a long way to go before I would consider it as a big leader in the field of cryptocurrency. When hypes is gone, all I can see is Dogecoin returning to its real self; that of almost worthless meme coin. Don't get me wrong, I also love DogeCoin because it is so cute.

If we stop to think coldly, if Doge were number 1 of the next bull run (when that bull run arrives) I think it would be a before and after in the history of cryptocurrencies.
