One day this might happen. But it will definitely require a long process. Even now, the government still doesn't agree with crypto. So the main step if you really want to enter crypto in a traditional banking system, you have to get government permission first.

Banks will not switch to using a decentralized cryptocurrency, but they are quite capable of providing cryptocurrency exchange services. That is, banks will not take on the risks of cryptocurrency, but they may well use it where they will have a guaranteed profit. This is quite in the spirit of the banking system.

You are confused or do not understand something. Banks do not buy bitcoin. Individuals buy up, but not banks. Banks do not have their own funds, and they will not risk depositors' funds.

I think It will take several years again, not soon.
Because several countries still blocked and against crypto currency.
Banks  also didn't addopt crypto technology so far.
