Bitcoin and ethereum have different roles and functions in this market. They do not directly compete with each other and even complement each other with their different opportunities in this market. However, since these are the two leaders in this market, there will always be hidden competition between them. If the upgrade of the ethereum network is successful, it is predicted that after some time ethereum will bypass bitcoin in terms of capitalization and price dominance. In this case, Bitcoin may even lose its leadership position.
I already want dramatic changes in this market and I would like to see it.

Bitcoin is great crypto for saving asset and eth is good smart contract to develop many project and keep growing, for me bitcoin already final. This time we only care about fees in both crypto and focus with profit, not their development so if fees not high I believe bitcoin and eth will keep standing and challenge fiat. Another problem in both crypto is network and electricity but whatever it is they already change our world, we only need to support developer and finish the hacker.

Ethereum, as well as bitcoin, has a high price for investors. Therefore, investments in these coins will be low-risk compared to other cryptocurrencies. The Ethereum team continues to develop the project on the way to Ethereum 2.0 and this affects the change in the price of the coin.

Well, I think bitcoin is the king and Ethereum is the queen.
So if you compare both, I think It depends on which coin do you prefer to invest
In my opinion, you can spread in both and buy them.

I think it depends on where we read the news and in what language it is written. Every day I read sites with news in English and Spanish, and it is true that most of the news in English talks about Bitcoin, especially when it increases in value, but on the contrary, most of the news that I read in Spanish it's about altcoins , especially Ethereum and Doge. I guess it all depends on what is most relevant at the time or what catches the attention of most readers.

The truth is that I don't know what the reason could be, but I have sometimes thought that due to the high price of Bitcoin people see the more accessible atlcoins, but I'm not sure either. Lately it may be due to the increase in altcoins while Bitcoin remained more stable, but it is something that I have been seeing for a long time, especially on the news pages that have been in the industry for less years.

Yes, Ethereum is gaining traction, but I don't know how long it will continue like this, as it "loses" users every day to the problem of high transaction fees. I do not understand how the Ethereum developer team still does not solve this problem, a problem that has a large part of the community unable to do anything, losing good investment opportunities. "London" has not been what the community expected, and that is a big problem.
