As a social media platform and also for business purposes Elon Musk will not us only one cryptocurrency in X and it will a joint or combine cryptocurrencies for the payment in the platform. And the coins I think he is using are Dogecoin, Ethereum, and Bitcoin. Though I am not active in Twitter or the latest name X. And I believe that those are the coins he will use to integrate to the social media platform call X.

If Musk were to consider using more than one cryptocurrency for X, that would multiply his problems. I think Musk would even have a lot of problems just using a cryptocurrency. Using Ethereum or Bitcoin as you say, I don't think it would be viable, if Musk used the two cryptocurrencies with the largest market capitalization, not only the SEC, but the entire community would jump on him, and with compelling reasons. In this case, the billionaire does not have many options to choose from without everyone criticizing him, no matter how much money Musk has, he is old enough to know that he cannot do what he wants, like a little boy.

We do know that Elon does have that kind of very random way of thinking on which we might be believing that he might be that integrating those traditional payment system but
basing up on the hints and actions that he's taking then we might be seeing that a certain crypto coin would be might be integrated into this one. Yes, everything would really be probable

At no point have I talked about any crypto exchange. I was referring to Bitcoin and/or Ethereum taking into account the context of the conversation. Nor am I talking about the wishes of the users, I have talked about the community, and said community is not only the users, it is also part of, among others, the developers and maintainers of the best-known projects. Regarding the strategic decisions of the multinational, let me tell you that since Musk acquired Twitter they have not only lost a lot of money, they have also lost millions of users, so those decisions may not be the most appropriate, such as, for example, publicly insulting one of the platform's advertisers, as he has done with Disney.

Issuing new token like X token is not a difficult task for Elon Musk and X-payment. I believe X can do it on multi-chains, they can even design their own blockchain for this purpose. However, I am not sure about the legality, because Meta once had to abandon its Libra/Diem project.

Additionally, creating a community for a new token can be as difficult and inefficient as adopting a token that already has a large community such as BTC and DOGE.

Still, I think X' management should and will consider other communities more important than the crypto community at large.

For example, the community of muslims, or of people living in muslim countries.
Between a cryptocurrency loved by the crypto community but not shariah compliant and another one shariah compliant but despised by the crypto community, which one do you think X' management will choose?

A second example: think of the "community" of little businesses, people with zero crypto experience.
Crypto's volatility (- 5%... 10%... or even more! with days/weeks!) means that if they don't convert quickly the cryptos they receive into fiat, they risk losing what they earned by selling those apples and shoes.
But if they receive e.g. a stablecoin, there is no risk for them, they don't need the extra step of converting the received currency into fiat.

In my opinion Twitter(X) will not integrade Crypto payments. but if they do that then they would launch their own cryptocurrency. I don't think Elon musk going to use a Coin built by another company for his services. he is a businessman and he know he can make a lot of money launching his own coin.
