I think you should not invest in cryptocurrency for long term at this moment. There has a high risk in long term investment. Because crypto price fluctuates more and more and so its price may decrease for long term. We see that ethereum is one of the best coin in the crypto market but its price is now very much lower than the year 2018 though its price has some what increased from the lowest point. So, I think, short term investment is safe.

Obviously cryptocurrency is a long-term investment. If you invest in short term periods then I surely talk that you don't get nothing from cryptocurrency. But Ethereum and bitcoin, Binance coins are very important to long term investment.

Yow it does not apply to all cryptocurrencies. I have held a few altcoins before and ended up losing even more. Most of these cryptos gets a pump and dump that is why we cannot just randomly hold any time of crypto. The best choices are to peak top cryptos like XRP and ETH because for sure they will last a very long time in the crypto market as many uses these type of coins.
