One thing I don't understand is to associate everything Elon Musk says with the rise or fall of the value of Bitcoin. There are many other external elements that affect the value and it doesn't have to be what this guy says. If Elon continues to proclaim himself a spokesman or something similar for Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies in general, he will end up worse than John McAfee.
I definitely agree with you. bitcoin has had all these similar circles in the market in previous years without Elon musks tweet and even though he might have contributed to the recent dip in the cryptocurrency price for personal gains, all dips and rise in Bitcoin price cannot be because of Elon says this and that and i too believe he will fall off soon.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: KYC at the end of bounty
« on: May 26, 2021, 03:35:03 PM »
Here you need to understand for yourself, if the project is worthwhile, then you can pass KYC, now for example, almost all exchanges ask for KYC, so this is already part of the norm, I don't see anything wrong here, but only if you are confident in the project.

You can pass KYC, but only if you know the amount you will be rewarded. I think you will agree with me that passing KYC to get $10-20 looks stupid. You will spend more on a transaction to exchange, compared what you have earned. I've noticed that it is become common to ask to pass KYC before final spreadsheet is calculated.
Exactly. Why won't that be put forward from the start so that whoever decides to Do KYC for some token you don't even know will eventually hit the exchange can go ahead and do that but after the campaign or almost the end, campaign owners are now asking to complete a KYC is a NO NO for me too.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: The Dip is Deep
« on: May 26, 2021, 12:08:13 PM »

Two days ago I made a mistake of determining that the DIP has already subsided and that the market will start to make good rebounds. What a mess because I missed. The dip continued unabated and right now there is still no end in sight for this continuing downtrend. I think major coins and tokens already slashed more than 50% of what they gained with the bull run, but the positive market sentiment has not yet returned. Let's hope that soon there will be vengeance.

yes, I agree. I believe the market will go up again and we will see the green as long as this month until the end of this year.
As you said, the dip is deep, that's really deep.
My asset, still  there. I hold them and wait the higher price.
every dump , we will see the pump.
Whatever fudder said. I will hold until the bullish coming.
You are right. I believe the market is on its way to an uptrend now

The dip was really deep  :D I believe that was about -60% dip in the market but at last, we are begining to see an upward momentume which I also believe will take us to a new ATH

We all know we are in crypto. We join for our own risk. We search and try to find out the best and most potential project promoted by trusted managers. However some project turned into scam and some may not pay the participants due to underestimating the hunters promotion with low traffic.

From the past and recent issues with regards to scam projects and unpaid balance for hunters.

How we can anticipate this matter? How the hunters be protected by the managers or they are just a toy to promote the project and yet the team doesn't want to pay as they are already in success?

Yes, it sounds impossible but let us just try to discuss this matter.
I just posted something similar to a topic here
https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=22999.msg1179323#msg1179323 and I were specific about the just Concluded Student Coin which most of us that participated now see as a SCAM Project because like I mentioned in that post, you cannot use bounty hunters for 10 weeks and at the end of the campaign change the rule. I believe that this is something that even the Forum owners should now be Involved in so that once a campaign is put out, whatever is stated there is what should be done at the end of the campaign not only when it favours the project owners but also when they feel it doesn't favour them too.

This has been one of the pressing issues which needs to be addressed. All bounty managers must state at the start of their Bounty program whether there will be KYC or not. Some KYC requires passport and not every bounty hunter travels across the globe. In the end, most bounty hunters suffer losses as their tokens are not paid to them due to failure of meeting KYC requirements. This is not fair.
This is true and highly recommended. I would say it is not only about the KYC alone, some of the Bounties too after allowing bounty hunters to finish the campaign, you see where things are been changed. Most recently is the Bounty campaign for Student Coin STC where the project owners reversed the payment type and amount after 10 weeks of the campaign claiming that they never said they will pay the total amount of coins that is stated on the Bounty page and they never mention this in the whole 10 weeks until the end.

If possible, I like the Forum owners to get involved in this to help correct issues like this where Project owners believe that they can do whatever and nobody can do anything after they have used the platform to promote their project and they refuse to pay.

History will repeat itself, in my opinion, a decline will definitely occur and maybe it will be like in 2017-2018 but the decline I mean is in terms of percentage not in terms of price.  But for this month and next month, I am optimistic that the market will recover quickly.
I agree with you, Thus far I believe that this dip we have witnessed about -68%

is still not up to the 2017-18 crypto market dip which was about -80% because I would say that was the real bear season unlike now that most people still believe that we are still going to see another ATH in 2021.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Why BTC regularly comes down?
« on: May 25, 2021, 05:47:34 PM »
Most people say that the cryptocurrency market is falling due to the fact that China wants to fight against bitcoin and crypto mining, I do not know if this is true or not, but as you can see, the cryptocurrency market reacted very strongly to these news and if these news are true, then perhaps a bearish trend may be starting or has already begun.
Well I wouldn't really call it a bear market yet but there was a reaction to all those news (FUD) that was going on with the cryptocurrencies especially Bitcoin from Elon Musks' tweet to China BAn again and even the US crypto Tax proposal.

you can see that the market took to downward trend since then only trying to recover now.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Btc does not crash, price only fluctuate.
« on: May 25, 2021, 05:33:31 PM »
BTC begins to grow again and may never return to $35K, more and more representatives of the world's financial elite are adding it to their portfolio. I bought a little at the bottom, this is by far the best investment possible.
Right. we have already gone past $35k presently trading around the $37k+ and I know it will continue to grow over the coming months gradually. Bitcoin from the previous history has gone through similar dips and the market recovered even almost around this same time so like I said, I believe we are on the way back to uptrend.

What's your attitude to the different coin predictions. Should we rely on it? I found this article, https://this Url is blocked due to spam/en/blog/bitcoin-price-prediction, it's being updated every day and it seems fair. Is it ok to look at it?
Even if you are looking at different price predictions, that is their opinion but you must know how to view and analyze chat and the crypto market yourself so that when you want to make a decision it wouldn't be far off

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: altcoins season 2021??
« on: May 24, 2021, 11:48:24 AM »
After the last market correction, when the price of altcoins decreased several times, we can say that the altcoin season is over. And now it will take a long time to restore the price to the level it was in April 2021.
I believe you. The hope for me is that the market should see a reversal still before that end of the year like what happened with the previous bull market years for crypto were after a big dip like this, we saw a sharp reversal to a new ATH.
I agree with you because I don't think this is the end of the market uptrend, I believe this thing happens whether triggered by fud or whatever as we notice but the important thing is that, bitcoin will always find its way back up and will still take Alts with it.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Is It The End Of Bitcoin?
« on: May 24, 2021, 11:41:23 AM »
AS per the recent fall down of the BTC, many investors have lost their investment and now no one knows when the Bitcoin will recover to $60k because when same fall down happens in 2017 then it almost takes 3 years to overcome that loss.
Yes, true but that was the end of the Bullrun market and the difference here is that this dip has not been confirmed to be the end of this bull market. If you look at the 2017 bull circle, you would notice that around this same time, there was a dip like this before the final uptrend that ended in Dec 2017/Jan 2018. I believe this is the same and there will still be another uptrend before the Bulls give up  ;)

Most of the old users know these types of manipulation and they believe in crypto. Only the new users are selling their tokens. They only came to crypto to make money. They do not believe to hold for long term and this is because they are selling and making losses now.
You know sometimes we always want to believe that HODLing is the only way to make money in crypto and the Hodlers are the most dedicated. I am currently Hodling a coin that was trading at $80+ before the dip started and I am still hodling till now and the price now is $18-$20+. If I had sold all the coins then and buy back now, my total Hodlings of that coin would have gone up 400%. Even though I know I will still make a profit after we go pass my initial investment in the future time, it would have been better if I did the opposit of selling and buying back which is not a bad idea.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: High Rewards from Student Coin
« on: May 24, 2021, 11:06:16 AM »
I followed the Student Coin bounty and I saw in the spreadsheet lots of Altcoinstalks members who got lots of rewards.
Thank you to the Altcoinstalks forum for providing ample opportunities to hold various bounties from various well-known Bounty Managers.
Back again to Student Coin, maybe soon the distribution of the results from the bounty will be carried out but I see that the total budget is very large, will STC later have a Dump ?

I will provide a little information about Student Coin so that it becomes a consideration for all of us and can discuss with each other.

Smartcontracts Student Coin      = 0x15b543e986b8c34074dfc9901136d9355a537e7e
FULLY DILUTED MARKET CAP = $318,396,894.33
Max Total Supply = 10,000,000,000 STC
Holders  = 3,259

Seeing the information from Etherscan, there is a huge amount of money circulating for Student Coin and this is a great opportunity for Student Coin to rise in the future.
And I am also looking for more information at UNIswap, please check the proof of the image below :

The Total Value Locked (TVL) at UNIswap is really quite large and the value is around 1,600,000 USD and this will be able to support the tokens generated from the Bounty when distributed.
The trading volume on UNIswap related to this Student Coin is rather small at around 295,400 USD and will probably continue to grow in the future.

My question :
-If you look at BM Detective's bounty spreadsheet, is this prize worth all the contestants who join ?
-Will there be a Dump for Student Coin during the distribution of tokens from the Bounty ?
-What strategy should Dev do to prevent a Dump from the Bounty ?

Well at least now with all the support/promotion that was given to them, they turned around and did the bounty hunters bad with this payment. I hope that Bounty Detectives will be able to put things in order because the way I see it is that, if they, BD are not in on it then this is a slap on their face if they allow it to slide. Imagine a bounty calculation that should have given you about $1.5k+ as of this morning's price of STC, you received Eth worth $67, this is a pure rip-off by Student Coin Team and I really Hope the Bounty Detective team will do something about it else it's their reputation.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Why BTC regularly comes down?

Bitcoin prices are falling every day. People blame Elon Musk and China for the constant decline in the price of Bitcoin. Various investors are currently very frustrated. When the CEO of car dealership Tesla accepted Bitcoin for trading, every investor was much happier. But now Tesla Ers Eo has suspended Bitcoin again. So the level of investment around the world has decreased, albeit slightly. So everyone thinks that the main reason is that when Tesla suspended bitcoin, the price of bitcoin has been falling.
That Elon musk tweet might have contributed to the decline in the price of Bitcoin but that now there is much more other news that keeps worsening the situation. Like the china ban/crackdown on crypto again and even the recent US pronouncement on Crypto tax.
All cryptocurrencies have continued to go down but I believe that there will be a recovery someday.

You are right. I was almost tempted to buying back some days ago but for some reason, I decided not to, and now like you said, the market is still going down. I do believe that this will end someday and the market will regain back but look at the bright side of it, this is another oppotunity to buy more once we confirm a reversal.
