What do you guys trade with?
I always trade with USDT/Crypto, because it's easy to calculate profit and loss. How do you guys trade and why?
B
That is the best way for me too. I don't like trading any other cryptocurrency with ether Bitcoin or Ethereum but with any other stable Coin, USDT and BUSD when I am trading on Binance exchange. I agree also to me, it is much more easier to calculate your profit/Lost that way basically.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Crypto Trading - Long term Vs Day trading
« on: March 03, 2021, 04:31:41 AM »
I prefer long term trading, because with long term trading we don't have to enter the market every day.  but in this long-term trade I don't dare to take high risks, usually the coins I choose are favorite coins or new coins from familiar and successful projects.
Short time trading is a headache, constant monitoring of the market and being worried once there is a little bit of shift in price to the down side thinking is this the end  :-[ I like long term trading I just buy my assets when i beehive I have a good price and wait till the price is right again for me to sell, monitoring the market is involved too but just less stressed

I think so. If ETH reaches let's say 10K, only a few whales would use the network. In other words, it would be a ghost network  ;D
True that and I think this issue has taken too long to resolve if it is been resolved and that as we all know has really affected the ethereum network, imagine sending a transaction with $20 fee  :( why will I do that transaction? obviously people will want to migrate to other networks to reduce investors complaints on this kind of issues and as we know, Time is Money   ;D

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Every Trader Should Learn about Market
« on: March 03, 2021, 04:09:39 AM »
I guess that should have to be the first thing a traders should have to learn or have before venturing into trading. You need the knowledge and of cause understanding of how the market works, what is what when such and such happens. When to enter a trade and when to get out and so on. Investors needs to understand that trading is not a get rich quick thing hence the need to take it slow and bit by bit investment.

This is clearly a big definition of "weak hands" and I am suffering the consequences of making a wrong choice.

This is not just only as problem of week hands also maybe confidence cos this happened to my on BNB trade yesterday. I sold my BNB HODLings at the circled point yesterday thinking that the price will continue to dip since I was going to bed but to later get up late in the night to discover that it reversed and went way higher as seen here.

It is about how much risk you are willing to take because if i have taken that risk yesterday, i would have won big when I got up before it came back down. This will happen once in a while cos we cant catch it all i guess and lucky you sold to USDT  :D and so did I, so now we have to re-strategize

General Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Changing My Life
« on: March 02, 2021, 09:26:28 AM »
Of course cryptocurrency changes my life, but at the moment it changed it in a not very good way, because I lost a decent amount of money in one coin
:-\ sorry to hear that but your status shows you have been in crypto a long time however, that probably means this can happen to any body in the crypto space. Back to the topic, Crypto did change my life but still hoping to continue to make it even bigger during this crypto season.

As a crypto enthusiast, the saddest thing is that I did not make money, and others made money. This is very angry.
You should know what you where doing wrong that made you miss or not to make profit while your friends did, If you don't learn from your mistake then you might repeat the same mistake again. You have to learn the market, all of us crypto traders or HODLers which ever you classify yourself have to learn and understand the crypto ecosystem and have mostly learned from our mistakes to get better so keep up the believe and learn from your mistakes.

I think that taking a position when the market still dips also needs careful consideration. Moreover to ensure whether the coins have chances to rise up again or not. Additionally, it will also depend on what kind of holding we are, holder or trader. if it is for investing or holding, it is okay.
Even if you are a HODLer which I consider myself as, I will still sell off my crypto assets once I noticed that the price is high and it is about to or it is going down, I do sell and wait until the price is going back up and I buy in again and hodl until when such I see another opportunity like that to do it again and it has really worked for me though this I don't consider as day trading and i believe you will make more from that than just HODLing through dips and rise.

This is a very big question for traders and the entire community of cryptocurrency investors. The market is dipping and frankly its causing a lot of panic among investors, a lot of experts have postulated that this is just an healthy correction that has been expected by a lot of experts after the recent upward price action. I will only sit back, fold my hands and watch how things unfold in the near time.
I guess they are right because bitcoin has see about 2.3% recovery in the past 24hours along with other cryptocurrencies too. Like many of the analyst have said, this correction was expected and if you know when you invested, i guess that would give you some sort of courage and if you have already taken profits before this whole roll back. I believe even if not 100% yet confirmed yet, the market looks up trend again.

It depends on how your mental and emotional management. Actually if we are already in the crypto world, we must be ready for any kinds of the risks including the bearish or dropped price significantly. If we still feel fear, just leave the crypto and focus on the real world.

I don't really see any reason why people or investors should have fear when the market is going down, you understand profits can be made both ways right? this is what crypto market and any other market is all about. Most people don't really invest in stable coins which is not volatile except we want to use it to save our profits so if you don't want volatility, invest in stable coins  ;D but you do want the market to go up, so in way it will come down. The only thing would be, know when to get in so that you don't get burn.

We are experiencing some big dip right now and of course we know that this can be so normal in this very volatile market...with some saying that a deeper dip can be in the making and that we should be prepared and not be caught by surprise. I am sure that the beats are waking up, and it is all up to the market to determine if we can have the company of the bears soon or will the bears be thrown back to where they belong...to the North Pole.

So what do you usually do during this stage...do you parked your cryptos in USDT or any stablecoin for the time being or maybe you are brave enough to just let the whole thing through?

Definitely in this type of market, I would have all my crypto assets into stable coins and wait out what the next step the market would take. I have never really been a day trader so it is not my place to mostly start to trade the small ups and downs but once I see that there is a good confirmation in the direction of the market, I can buy back in. This has worked for me over the time and I don't see any reason to change  ;D :D ;D

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Long term and short term trading
« on: February 28, 2021, 10:08:15 AM »
I am sure that these two types of trading are often heard because many traders use them.
Usually long-term trading uses TF (Time Frame) 30m to 1h while long-term trading uses TF 1D but tends to be 3D.

These two types of trading are very different, from the strategy used and also how to do it, if long-term trading is more focused on seeing every rise and fall in price, while long-term trading is more focused on seeing market trends that occur.
Both are good things to do because they both make a profit.

in your opinion, which one is more suitable for you? what is short term trading? or long term trading?
Right, Both type of cryptocurrency trading can bring traders profits but depending on the market situation, if the market is really in a volatility stage, day trading can be profitable if you really understand and know how to read TA, you can make good profits from this type of trades however, if you don't know how to, I guess long time trading is also a good option to buy in at the RIGHT TIME into the RIGHT PROJECT but investor just have to hodl for a while.

Cryptocurrency has now reached a position where anyone can go to the stage in a moment and their fortunes can change very quickly.  But there is huge ricks and patience here.  He who cannot take Ricks in this cryptocurrency will never be rich.  If you want to be rich in cryptocurrency, you must take rickshaws. We sell any coin as soon as its price increases a little.  Next time we see that the coin has increased a lot then we put our hands on our heads.  So far I have not been able to change my life from cryptocurrency.  I hope I can do it in the future.
Cryptocurrency and risk are two inseparable concepts. Many take risks and lose, while others take no risks at all and make a profit. Perhaps you knowingly took an asset that was not supposed to bring profit? Or maybe you should take a big risk at least once?

You are right. Once you get into cryptocurrency trading you should understand that you have incurred some level of risk and that level of risk varies depending on the projects you choose to invest in. Like you said, some people might want to take a bigger risk investing in some mostly new projects hoping to make Huge gains, some win Most don't. So even though you cant avert risk in crypto, they could surely minimize it.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Do you buy the dips now?
« on: February 27, 2021, 04:14:52 AM »
Do you also buy the dips?
Or are you waiting for some deeper dips?

History has taught me never to buy the dip; but the bear market. It is not news that bitcoin is struggling to find support and could dip as low as 35000$ before it finds support; but that does not make the market bearish enough for me as an individual to hop in and invest.

Never buy a falling dip, instead buy the bottom

I hear you and as you have mentioned, Never buy a falling dip but the bottom, but how can you categorically state where the bottom is? maybe unless it reverses and starts moving upward again before you buy in and yes, I agree with you that's why i am saying this but to actually buy the bottom is what am trying to get, that is after the bottom has been confirmed and there is a clear reversal.

I will definitely have myself a good potion of BNB because with all the hype and of-cause many projects crossing over to Binance Chain, I believe the price will still grow in time and it did make me some good potion of my profits last time  :D . Will definitely be buy Bitcoin and Ethereum even with out any reason   :) cos these are the two cryptos you should be hodling in your portfolio
