There are times when some unfavorable things happen that is out of our control and you are left with the option to wait or to take immediate action.

If you are a following the developments of various privacy coins, you might have already heard of the recently discovered vulnerability in the libzerocoin library. This has affected all projects using the Zerocoin-based protocol like Veil. This has forced the team to immediately issue a mandatory wallet update to protect all its users.

A few days ago, the team also released a decision to leave Zerocoin and work on a new privacy protocol since they can no longer rely on Zerocoin's anonymity/privacy feature.
