Bitcoin Forum / Re: High fees is a never ending story?
« on: April 16, 2024, 01:42:13 AM »
Yea, that is the truth... But then, are we eradicating the Ordinals any moment? No! We have to learn to deal with the situation because this guys will continue to spam the blockchain in intervals.
When a new network provides convenience, lower costs and higher efficiency,
ordinals are abandoned and all migrate to a better network.

I see lately Rune Protocol has become very Hype, and it will be present when the halving happens,
this will be much awaited by all bitcoin users.
That is the main issue that affected the network again, it congested that we have seen above 100 sat/vB transaction. And the timing of the developer pushing for Rune Protocol, he can't deny that he is doing this to disrupt the network again as what he did with his BRC20 ordinals . So this will cause another friction on the Bitcoin core dev side, as there could be Bitcoin enthusiast that says that they are not doing anything to prevent this or close the exploit that the BRC20 and Rune developer has found on in the code. Nevertheless, if we have endured the high fees before, I think we can live with it right now and let it die a natural death in the next coming months.

Study the platform where you are going to buy i suggest buy at exchange and avoid IEO ,IDO . Check the team background and partners . Make sure you study the project the research is also important so invest small amount and don't invest al of your money .

This seems easy enough, but it turns out the facts are actually different. Because indeed, doing analysis or research on a new project is not that easy. Because however, the position or type of crypto project varies greatly. And it seems that it is not recommended for beginners to do things with high risks, for example investing in new projects, shit coins, memes, hype, coins and other such considerations. But what's wrong is that even for beginners, we often dream of getting high profits while the reality is quite different.
Yes, and even if we take all the time to research and review any upcoming projects that we want to invest, sometime it is still a hit or miss for crypto investors. So very difficult for newbies, maybe they will go and give it a try to hype but the risk is very hard. Better be just start very slow and learn the tricks. And if you invest onto something and it didn't succeed, then take that as a learning experience and never give up your dreams that once day you will become a crypto millionaire.

And this is what the current standings look like,

So it might be the Warriors vs the Kings. And for Warrior fans, I do think that the Warriors have a better chance against Sacramento. They have been beaten the Kings and they have history of having the numbers against the inexperience of Sacramento.
Nevertheless it will still be a good play-in tournament and I agree that we don't want any of this teams not to be in the playoff.
But we have new names like OKC, Timberwolves and Pelicans in the top 6.

While everything was going well before the Halving, we suddenly encountered a sharp wave of sales. I haven't been able to fully check the news, but there are reports that the US is sending warships to West Asia. There is talk about the possibility of Iran attacking Israel, but I don't think it is very likely. Maybe this news may distract us from our target for a few days, but when the events stop, we can pick up where we left off...

I can't find any info on the US sending their battleships to West Asia, but Iran Vs Israel tensions definitely can cause some panic in the markets.
But most likely the recent dips in stock prices are result of announcements that US inflation accelerated for a 3rd consecutive month, meaning there are no hopes of lowering interest rates, which is something that most people expected.
And Bitcoin got hit badly, as the dip in price has triggered liquidation of leveraged positions, which added to the selling pressure.
I think it's more on the looming war with Iran vs Israel now, specially that Iran has retaliated and attack Israel as they blame Israel for the attack on their embassy. So it has that domino effect in everything, stock, and crypto market and everyone is every nervous. Hopefully as we approach block halving in the next 4-5 days, everything will settle down and then we see the market recovering and doing what supposed it should be after the halving. That is to see the price goes off again and experience a parabolic rise.

With this winning do you really think I should quit betting or I shouldn't continue

If as a gambler you decide quit simply because you are not winning, the moment you win you would consider changing your decision and returning back to gambling.

Quitting from gambling should be from a genuine reason, like you are not just loosing but not being able to accommodate the losses that you are making.
And if you comeback, chances are you are going to lose the money that you initially won. So the best advise is to quit, that is if the OP wants that. We can tell it to his face but after that he can go back again and gamble all his money for all we care. Yes quitting gambling or any vices takes a lot of courage, but if you are not ready and not genuine, nothing will happen. It will just be all words spewing out of his mouth with no intention to stop regardless of our advise here.

It's good to hear that Giannis doesn't have any major injuries. If you guys have watch their game against Boston, there were anxious moments wherein Giannis just fell on the ground and holding into his achilles.

And MRI revealed no damage to his achilles tendon and it it's intact. So that is good enough news for the Bucks as Giannis will have to rest their last remaining games this regular season.

Yeah, the fact that Giannis avoided a major injury is good news for the Bucks. Apparently, he only has a sole sprain, but Doc Rivers said earlier that they don't have a timeline for Giannis' return to the court yet. Either way, the Bucks' medical staff and coaches should keep a closer eye on Giannis' health, as the Bucks are unlikely to make any progress in the playoffs without him.
I agree, it's good that there are no major injury for Giannis, like season ending injury as we all know that he is the heart and soul of the Bucks. And him not playing in the playoff is going to be very bad news for them.
And it's good as well to see them getting back to the winning column. For sure, the medical staff of Bucks will be working full time with Giannis. Most likely he will have to rest and do some stretches to warm up that calf muscle and then him back at least in the first round.

Warriors shooting 26 out of 41 from three-point range (63.40%) is a huge threat against any team. Curry and Podziemski were perfect with 6 and 3 respectively. What's surprising is that Draymond scored all his points beyond the arc with high efficiency (5 of 7). Klay is also heating up just in time for the play-in.

Yes, the Warriors' performance was unexpected in this game, especially Thompson's because he doesn't often perform so well in the regular season. I think even if Davis had played in this game, the Lakers still wouldn't have been able to beat the Warriors because of their high three-point shooting percentage.
Yes, as if we have seen the prime version of the Warriors when they were still a dynasty. They are the teams that started the whole three point era with Steph and Klay forming what we call the Splash Brothers. And they will be a very dangerous team in the play-in, whoever they will face if they can keep up with this kind of shooting. And they did it away from home, which is also another interesting stats for them to win in the road. And Klay just in time for his peak performance come play-in/playoff. Just sad that either the Lakers or the Warriors are going to be eliminated this season.

This is not one of the money fights that's commonly discussed in boxing thread and it's a bit controversial to some but have you heard/read about the trans who fought professionally and was knocked out inside 21 seconds? I don't mean to offend their group but I'm glad that the fighter experienced it early.
And yet he said that he will continue to fight despite the lost. This is the first time that he had a L and so he still thinks that he can make it big in boxing as he was a great boxer in his previous life.

"I’m not one to hide my face no matter the outcome….I lost last night," Manuel wrote.

"I trained my a** off, had great sparring, cut no corners. But sometimes s*** doesn’t go your way.

"It’s a risk we all take when we step in the ring. It’s what is exciting about boxing - and also the most heartbreaking.

"The most important part is I am healthy. I am deeply disappointed and to be honest, my ego is bruised.

We can't prevent him from pursuing his dreams, if it the right decision for him, then let it be. World is really changing nowadays and everyone has his/her own rights and go where they think is right for them.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Don't be in a Rush
« on: April 10, 2024, 10:09:57 PM »
Now and days alot of people have this mindset that trading is get rich quick scheme, which shouldn't be like that . I have seen alot of cases where newbies or individual with half-size knowledge about this space jumping into trading without any proper knowledge, some even go further starting with future trading, with the sole aim to make alot of profit fast .which is actually wrong , because you may endup making countless losses with such move .
Right, we can partly blame the media for this. I mean it was portray by this so called influencer that crypto trading is easy and that they could make a lot of a money in the quickest time. And so it's going to be a rude awakening for this news and they can't get out of it because they put to much capital and the only way to get out is to suffer a lost.
so if you don't have good knowledge about trading please focus more on spot trading instead, because as time goes on your trading skills would increased with minimise risk . And also no matter the dip , aslong the coin you trading is well known and nice , it would surely recover from that dip and you may endup with good profit if you are patient enough. But if it was future trading, the dip may endup triggering your liquidation and your trading cash may endup liquidated.
Yes, just learn and take it slow in the beginning, educate yourself and remember to have patience as well. Don't go on future trading in the beginning, there is a big risk involved. Just do the regular trade and see how it goes. If you find it tiring and you are not making money then maybe trading is not for you.

Of course it terms of profit, you can make a lot of it this bull run, that is if you by chance find the right AI project to begin with and so you need that element of luck as well. And just like the history of this kind of hype, from ICO to P2E, sooner or later they will have to die down or at least majority of this projects who are kind like just a copy of others, investors are not going to support those kind. So it's hype nothing more and again, sorry to say this but they could be compared to meme coins, just pure pump-and-dump scheme. But the earlier you get the better chance you can earn big assuming you know the point where to exit and take that profits.

News related to Crypto / Re: After Sam, Former FTX Associates Are Next
« on: April 09, 2024, 11:13:04 PM »
My opinion is that the SBF’s co-conspirators should meet the same fate in prison, because it is certain that the SBF is not alone responsible for this disaster. These partners played different, albeit lesser, roles, but they are partners and must receive the appropriate punishment for each of them.

As for the impact of the FTX incident on the market, I believe, in my opinion, that the worst impact has already occurred, but the market was able to overcome it, thank God, but there must remain negative effects, even if they are mild, on the market, which may last several years before they are completely eliminated.
Yes but just like any normal criminals, if everyone is caught, some of them or in this case all of them become a turncoat and that's why SBF got what he deserved. So this people will get less jail sentence and it will only be SBF who will take the weight of the crimes. Maybe for some specially for the victims, every one is guilty as co-conspirators and meet the same fate by SBF, but in US justice system, it's very different, lawyer can play and bargain a lot even if the side is guilty by turning this criminals against each other and leaks everything they know against SBF in this case.

Of course, some of us here have used some form of Demo account when we started our career in trading, at least for myself, way back around 2017-2018 I would say that this is the norm as there was a huge hype on trading that time. And there are a lot of advantage, like gaining confidence, and familiarize on how everything works and if you have a testing strategies then you can used it with the demo account and practice it. But the big difference is that there are no risk in demo and so when you get your hands dirty in real life trading, it will still be very different feeling with real money and results in that always on your favor.

I don't think it will be religion per se, but if the gambler believes in something higher then maybe. But we all know that some of us might not be influence by religion, I mean most of them frown gambling but still though, people are gambling so there is no effect of religion whatsoever to the gamblers. And a gambler wants to change, doesn't matter what religion the person has. Not unless he as some sort of encounter with "God" and he transform himself. So the best remedy for gamblers is to go to rehab, therapy and support groups to change his ways as gamblers are not that really receptive to religion.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: How do you invest safely?
« on: April 09, 2024, 09:42:02 PM »
This is not about investment advice, as such. But I have been itching to start investing in crypto-related projects (coin sites, NFT tech, games, etc.) and have come across a few interesting ones. The problem is, in today's world, handing over money to someone seems about as safe as throwing it from a moving car and hoping the right people catch it. I am totally okay with investments having some risk, I even like to put a bit into unlikely projects in case they take off. But I do not want to just hand some money over to a project and then realize they just ran away with it.

So my question is, how do _you_ invest in projects, regardless of the size, in ways where you feel you are not going to get outright robbed? If I want to put a few grand into Billy Bob's Crypto Cousins Emporium (not a real project...) but do not want to just hand over cash to someone in another country who then shuts down the operation and runs cackling to the bank with what was my but is now their money, what are my best options?
None, to be exact, crypto is like a wild wild west out there, you either survived on die early. So that is the risk that you have to take. And so if you are not willing then I will say don't invest on crypto. It's because you don't know what the outcome will be of your investment. Whatever you spin the words, still comes down that you want to make sure that your hard earn money will not go to zero and projects that you invest will not rug pull. But we don't know that, even if you look at the team behind or the white paper, still there are no assurance that your money will grow, just saying. So no one can give you the right financial advise you are not willing to take that first leap and risk.
