it's too difficult to beat bitcoin which is number one in crypto. and it might take a very long time. all can happen in this cryptocurrency world. We will see later.

I don't think so, Ripple will become the number 1 it overtake ethereum for 6-7 hours but did not last long.  Because most crypto enthusiast  dump their ripple after  the increase  in price.

Ripple has a good project, till now their developers work hard to get a trust of several banks to be used as Ripple as a system to send money. It's sound a little terrible for the world of cryptocurrency, and some people did't like their cooperation with the bank because Ripple was considered to be out of the limits of the decentralized system. But it has happened, some large banks have used Ripple as a money transfer system, I just think, if almost all banks choose Ripple for their money delivery system then it is impossible to become the first position in the cryptocurrency market. But I don't think this will happen.

Though ripple seem to have taken the second position in recent time, I do not believe it will retain it for long. But to think that it could ever be number one, mate you are seriously reaching!

I  doubt  the  possibility  of  this for  now,  ripple  is  good  but  it  can  not  take  the  place  of  bitcoin  which  is  father  of  cryptocurrency  now,  maybe   later   the  in  future.

I doubt that Ripple will overtake Bitcoin this year, but I do not rule out that this may happen next year or in the next few years. Because in order for Ripple to have a capitalization, like Bitcoin, it must grow 5 times, and this is quite difficult to do, given that Ripple's capitalization is now rather high.

For ripple to be #1 in cryptocurrency it will not be that easy and you think btc will have to be less than #1000 and definitely ripple itself value will also reduce cause btc value affect every coin and token in the market and I don't think that is even easy to achieve , may be in a dream.
