I've been reading some comments or posts recently in various forums and some people claim that the current increase in price is due to the release of Libra's WP etc. They even say that it legitimizes cryptocurrency.
I personally doubt all that. With or without Libra, the price of Bitcoin is meant to rise. It's been on an upward trend even before this facebook coin.
What is your take on this?

I have the same opinion as yours. Clearly bitcoin is on its move. Sooner or later, it will reach it now. Coincidentally, Facebook's Libra released its whitepaper. Maybe Libra's whitepaper somehow contributed to bitcoin's surge but I don't think it's a major factor.

Yes man, you are very correct. Before the news of Facebook "Libra" the bitcoin bull has started, though this news also fuel in a further increase, and fortunately the bitcoin has already given certain signal for the bull run earlier on April.

I think Bitcoin price increasing because the demand of bitcoin is increasing. It is not cause of LIBRA. Several people say It is LIBRA effect, But I also doubt about that. Bitcoin is large, It is the King of crypto currency. No one can controll bitcoin.

Everybody has his own opinion about bitcoin they think that bitcoin is tensed because of Libra project that's not actually true bitcoin has been existing for long so I don't see the reason why bitcoin that has been doing very in the price increase will suddenly start to rise just because Libra project that is still on the process of development although is one of those stories, all I know is that Libra will not exist without not been tied under bitcoin and other currency like dollar.

We don't know yet more about this coin but looks like a potential one. Even that, for sure bitcoin price is not subject to any altcoins influence and so I believe libra has othing to do with bitcoin.

Of course, with or without Libra bitcoin will increase. The basic factor that affect bitcoin price are demand and supply. So, I see bitcoin demand is so high now, I believed bitcoin will increase again day by day till the next year.

This opinion, of course, is not true. Firstly, Libra, even with the new name Diem, still cannot be released due to various organizational and technical difficulties. And what does not exist cannot affect the cryptocurrency.
