Is bitcoin a Digital Gold?

Bitcoin can be said as digital gold because Bitcoin has a high investment value.  But even though they have the same investment value, Bitcoin and gold are different.

I agree it can be said as a digital coin, but I assume it because Bitcoin is the main coin, not because of the high value. As the main coin, Bitcoin will have a priority in crypto value. The value of Bitcoin will increase faster when the bullish signs come. And the Bitcoin value will be always better than others.

I could never view it as digital Gold because this comparison is apples and oranges to me. The two are much too different to compare them.

After reading a lot articles 75% are saying that bitcoin is a Digital gold, but for me my aguirement is how bitcoin to solve the ristriction that bank and financial institutions presented that make people lose huge amount of money, how can this become a Digital Gold.

I think Bitcoin is not digital gold.  Bitcoin is bitcoin ,  It is digital currency.  Bitcoin is not gold but more profitable  than gold when You invest in bitcoin.  I think when the bitcoin is rising again,  We will get alot profit and higher than gold. I am not agree about bitcoin is digital gold

Yes,  I agree bitcoin is digital  gold.  Bitcoin is more profitable  and valuable than gold.  But Gold is more stable than bitcoin.  Bitcoin is digital currency  and high volatile.  Maybe at the future bitcoin will be more stable.  I hope it.

For me, it seems very strange when someone compares things from the virtual world with physical stuff. No, I do not agree that Bitcoin is digital gold. It is the #1 currency for financial operations online and the best investment.

In a Digital world, Bitcoin represent as a Digital gold but Bitcoin as digital asset has a long way to go before it even comes close to gold, it has so many issues that needs to be fixed and the high volatility that needs to be stable.

They mean, gold is a universal value. You can use gold to trade goods anywhere in the world. However you may not be able to use fiat everywhere, but BTC is going close to what gold is right now. I believe BTC will be next gold. And check this out btw:

Unfortunately, it seems not all countries will accept Bitcoin as the payment tool.
It is true that BTC can be transferred around the world since it is a digital coin. BTC is not like gold that has stability in value. The price of BTC is very volatile. It can rise high or drop very severe. From this side, I am not sure to call Bitcoin as gold.

It seems to me that it is possible to compare Bitcoin and gold only in two situations.  Firstly, both Bitcoin and gold have limited reserves.  Secondly, no one will be able to buy something with the help of gold on the net or in a real store, as well as today with Bitcoin.  But in the near future regarding Bitcoin, the situation can change drastically, because only after using Bitcoin as a means of payment, BTC can raise public interest in itself.  But in this case, we need to understand that Bitcoin can stabilize in its pricing.

Yes,  I agree bitcoin is digital  gold.  Bitcoin is more profitable  and valuable than gold.  But Gold is more stable than bitcoin.  Bitcoin is digital currency  and high volatile.  Maybe at the future bitcoin will be more stable.  I hope it.

Bitcoin will never be more stable in its price than it is now and you shouldn’t even hope for it.
Also, Bitcoin is not digital gold, since the main difference between gold and other financial assets is precisely the relatively stable preservation of value. People who invested in Bitcoin at the end of 2017, still do not know where did they go “digital gold” has shared.

Its not a digital gold for me. It is a digital currency that will replace our old fiat money. And besides bitcoin are more often used as a payment while gold is use more or it is stored and people will wait to increase its value to sell it. However for me bitcoin will surpass the value of gold.

Bitcoin can be compared with digital gold in some way but I don't think it's digital gold. Gold price is relatively stable - the thing you barely can find in bitcoin. Gold has real life usage in many fields, from mechanic to medical. Meanwhile, bitcoin can't even be widely used as a payment tool. Bitcoin, in a nutshell, is just a store of value.
