Honestly, I don't understand yet why tBTC has value to some people? If this is a testnet and this Bitcoin is not real and has no real value then why are some people interested in buying it? Why else are there interested in getting tBTC airdrops?

The only reason I can think of is that they are using it to scam, is that true? Or are there other uses?

Hello Coinomize.biz

I remember that in the last month before closing the mixer campaigns on the Bitcoin Talk forum, you started a Contest to predict the price of Bitcoin. Why don’t you re-establish this monthly Contest here? It will be a very motivating Contest, especially after halving.

It will be good advertising for you

As I remember BTC-e exchange was the first exchange I used in my life, at that time there were not many exchanges yet and my experience in crypto was little, I am not sure if it is the same exchange because it is very old and closed a long time ago.

It is truly unfortunate what is happening in Crypto. Every day we hear about new accusations of money laundering and the closure of large and old services. The worst thing is that most of the accused admit that they have actually committed these acts. I do not really know where we are heading and what is next.

Forum related / Re: Badges that encourage spamming the forum..

25 posts a day is not that hard if your native language section is active and there are many interesting ongoing discussions. If you have a whole day to spend on the forum and there are many interesting active topics, you can have 50 posts a day, it is not something impossible. But of course when to leave 50 posts for a couple of hours it will be a low quality posting anyway. :)
This is certainly possible, although it is difficult. If the member has full time and is free to write on the forum throughout the day, he can write 25 and even 50 posts, especially as you mentioned, if his local section is active, writing will be much easier.

But I am speaking for myself. I am not completely free to write on the forum. I have another forum and I also have my own business in real life, so I said that I find it difficult to write 10 posts a day.

Viewpoints on the issue may differ from one member to another. There are people who are concerned about these badges and may send spam in order to obtain them, but for me they do not mean much. What can the possession of these badges add?

I find it very difficult to write 10 posts a day, so what if 25 or 50!!! This is a very large number and I cannot imagine that I will be able to write this number of posts one day. The only way is to send spam.

Personally, I expect the downward trend to take more than two months. We may need at least the end of the year to see the real impact of halving on the ground.

This is not the first time. In most previous cycles, it took a few months for us to see the effect of halving. This time the same thing, I think. Perhaps some people thought that the large rise that occurred before halving due to the effect of the ETF would change things, but this did not happen because we are now almost two weeks after halving We see the decline continuing and we do not see major movements in Bitcoin. The market needs a lot of patience.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: What Happened To Bitcoin?
« on: May 06, 2024, 10:02:16 PM »
In fact, it is a painful article, but it is very expressive of the bad reality that Bitcoin has reached after it was hijacked by some greedy people, and now things are getting worse because of governments that have begun to contain Bitcoin in a circumventing way.

Most people currently only care about the price of Bitcoin and do not care about the other unique features of Bitcoin, and because of their greed, governments have been able to control Bitcoin by controlling centralized and decentralized third-party services.

I see that Satoshi's dream is about to be lost, and Bitcoin today is very different from Satoshi's vision when it was created

These American companies that violate US laws and provide payment facilities to countries subject to US sanctions have two reasons: either because they want to get money in any way, even by violating the laws, or they see these sanctions as unjust to these countries and they violate the sanctions.

I am against the first reason, but I support the second, and with the violation of these sanctions by these companies, I salute them, because the citizens residing in these countries subject to sanctions have no fault or any connection to politics, so why does the United States impose sanctions on them?

The memory of Hal Finney will remain associated with Satoshi and Bitcoin forever. The history of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies cannot be mentioned without mentioning Hal Finney and his enormous contribution to their development, recognition and acceptance around the world.

It is known to everyone that the first Bitcoin sending transaction in history took place in 2009. When Satoshi Nakamoto’s sent 10BTC to Hal Finney’s. This was the first cryptocurrency transaction.

This was the true beginning of the launch of Bitcoin and Satoshi’s dream of a peer-to-peer currency, which might not have seen the light of day had it not been for Hal Finney’s enthusiasm, adoption of the idea, and his great contributions later.

It's exciting to see economic giants like BlackRock interested in enabling tokenized RWAs, which convert physical assets into digital tokens on the blockchain. This actually allows middle-class or even poor people to share these valuable assets that have been the preserve of the wealthy for decades.

In the same way, BlackRock and other ETF companies have contributed to expanding the circle of Bitcoin ownership to the widest possible category of average and simple people who do not have great access to Bitcoin possession.

This financial freedom was not available before Bitcoin and Blockchain existed.

The same thing happened to me. Recently, I received several blows due to the decline that occurred in the market. I also tried to find a good pump, but I was receiving a new loss.

Sometimes a person commits mistakes and continues to do so in an attempt to correct the first mistake, but he falls into a new mistake, and thus the series of mistakes is repeated, and he falls into a quagmire and finds it difficult to get out.

In such a situation, a person must stop for a while and reconsider his calculations. It is better to think of a new strategy or stop for a while to catch his breath.
