Cryptocurrency Price Speculations / Re: What are the odds
« Last post by electronicash on Today at 11:15:25 PM »
Last time it took about 5 months until the bull huge increases started, so I am not expecting any big movements just yet. Let the summer go past first, and after that we could probably see it start to rise. I am sensing that September is a great period for it to start going up. Thats not going to be easy of course, its going to take a while for it to start and reach a peak, so that means even if we start to go up at September, that doesn't mean that we are going to end up with a peak right away, it will probably see early 2025 for us to peak as well. Thats just my guess, I am not really guessing anything else.

that doesn't coincide with what they say "Sell in May and Go away. Walk away from the markets until October"
yep 5 months is always been the pattern in stock market but seem like this market is already being set and time is running out. i do hope it won't take this long for the price to go shooting to $100k already.

the billionaires should start buying every time there is a dip like this.

Honestly, I'm not sure which of these two teams will make it to the Western Conference Finals yet.
Yeah, it's unpredictable. They are also even in the regular seasons (each with 1 win as a visitor). For game 1, the Nuggets are the favorite @1.49 to Wolves @2.7. I guess that's because of the home court advantage (elevation). I think the Wolves can get at least 2 games in this series.

Yes, it's because of the homecourt advantage of the Nuggets, and least we forget they are the defending champion, so all roads lead to them. But this is going to be a good series, however, Nuggets has some of the advantage like the experience and the mentality of the champion. So it's going to be very hard for the Wolves unless ANT really transform to MJ because he has been compare to the GOAT with his performance. We will see Jokic being challenge more by Gobert and KAT. And then Gordon be assigned to guard ANT.

So overall a good series but in the end I think the Nuggets are going to win this series.

Of course, it is not worth it, but if Brazil and Paraguay own this dam, which is used to generate energy, there must be international agreements that determine each country’s shares of energy, and it is certain that Paraguay will not violate international law in selling Brazil’s dues to other parties, such as mining companies or others.

There is one that's the whole thing, some in Paraguay don't want to honor it anymore, but that's just political suicide and killing foreign relations for....

As I read in the article, the Paraguayan Senate approved a resolution supporting the sale of the country’s surplus energy to cryptocurrency mining companies. According to my understanding, only Paraguay’s surplus energy will be sold, and Brazil’s share will not be affected, Although the announcement criticized substandard agreements that sell energy to Brazil for 25% of the fees collected

As I said, things are more complicated than just then, there is a provision on excess generation in which Brazil claims it would have priority on buying that, Paraguay says ok but not at the same price as the mandatory quota, Brazil says no, the same price and .....we have the current situation.
The main problem is if you're thinking long term
- unless the world goes nuclear Brazil will still be there in 100 years and be your 30x in size neighbor
- The US/EU/ bans crypto, Bitcoin switched to PoS, another currency comes out, etc and mining turns out to be a dead business returning 10 cents a day

Foreign relations are complicated, your biggest parent slapping you with some tariffs and everything you own is down the drain, things are not as easy as it might seem, in theory is simple, let's sell this for more but...

XRP - Ripple Forum / Re: Will we have XRP Spot ETF soon?
« Last post by MrSpasybo on Today at 11:10:22 PM »
I'm not sure. because ethereum alone will probably not be approved or in this case most likely rejected. Because there are already signs like that. It isn't easy for altcoins to get ETF approval. So, we may not see closer the XRP ETF. It needs more time to make it true and approved. Well this is related to certain regulation. and none can force it. But hopefully someday, it will be really here, f=not only for XRP but also for more top altcoins. Maybe it must be started by the Ethereum  at first. Although it is still difficult.
Everything has changed after a few weeks. Now that we know the SEC is investigating ETH with the aim of proving that ETH is a security, I am no longer expecting that ETH Spot ETFs can be approved this year. It is possible that Gary Gensler will do something unexpected for the crypto market before leaving his position as SEC chairman, such as rejecting ETH Spot ETFs. If this happens, we will have a major disruption in the crypto market, but interest could shift to XRP and products like XRP Spot ETFs because XRP has been determined not to be a security.

For other top ALTS like SOL or ADA, many investors also want Spot ETFs for them, but for now it's not really that important because their legal nature is still not clearly defined. I also think the market only needs a few Spot ETFs of the top commodity ALTS like BTC, ETH, and XRP.

I am not really a guy who look into the prices very often but ever since halving I am keeping an eye on it, the prices on the way of declining ever since halving with deadcat bounce. As of now I am writing the price ranges in between 60-61K.

Speculators share your insights about how the price movements will be from this point.

if this is manipulated, whales might just send the price down to $53k for the daily chart to indicate bottom/ oversold so that investors will like to get to buy back. but this is till unsure because the ETF market is already going to taking over.

but i think they already its going to happen every time there is ETF that is approved. if Australia will soon approve ETF as well, i guess they can really drag the price to its knees despite the supply being this low.

Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: Are Bitcoins a good investment?
« Last post by JoyMarsha on Today at 11:01:55 PM »
So before  buying a Bitcoin, I would recommend first to learn how to be patient.
Learn how to be patient in the sense that you don't know when bitcoin will excel in price. Patience is what the majority of investors lack. Most of them want to see profits in their bitcoin investment always without first understanding that the crypto market is volatile, it does fluctuate up and down and there are times to expect huge profits out of one investment in bitcoin(that is the bull run season)

I can agree that person must be mentally ready for gambling (when in general person must be mentally ready to accept loss and that is it), but why he must be physically fit?

You need to punch some walls and leave some marks for future generations so that they would know to cash out if your team is leading 3-0 in the 89th cause otherwise, you might go celebrating outside and when you come back drunk you see it ended 3-3.  ;)
Also if you're fit you might jump around bang your head and have some inspiration, that won't come if you're just lying around munching on a hamburger!
But seriously, the whole thing is just stupid.

As well the word skill also raises questions. What special skill require gambling?

Why not as well separate your machine with your crypto dealings, i.e. trading, wallet and others so what you do regularly like visiting websites. I know it could be expensive to have 2 separate laptop or pc, but it's a better precautions than having one and doing it all.

Or use OS like Unix flavor or maybe Mac OS as most of the malwares and trojans are Window base.

And think before you click, so that you can avoid being compromise, like in emails, be sure to verify the source. Do not download free softwares, as they are laden with a lot of backdoors.
