Well, I've always believed that anything or activities that is targeted at the masses as a way to on-board them into crypto, thereby promoting crypto adoption; is really a cool one and always good idea, so long as it doesn't involve censorship and breach of users privacy and so on.
I've never had the opportunity of discussing crypto with some students at some school, not to talk of being an ambassador, and this is possibly because I was already out of school way back before I joined crypto in 2016.
So, In the nutshell, I would say that it's a good/great idea for any who has such opportunity as shared @op.
