Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: What is Cryptomarket?
« on: April 15, 2024, 08:17:44 AM »
3. It can be both passive and moderate income for you.
So some people are looking for cryptomarkets as a stable source of income. It can be, but it can't be. You must have the outside resource to support your trade. Because the chance of losing is also high.
I agree that the crypto market can serve one of the multiple streams of income which a person can have. And aside holding crypto, crypto lending and affiliate programs some of the ways one can earn income in the crypto market. For starters, in crypto lending, you lend crypto assets to borrowers. How you earn is from the interest fees which is part of the lending contract. However, it is not for the average Joe as you need to have some technical expertise  to be able to effectively manage the levels of risk involved in it. I think affiliate programs are the simplest and almost totally risk free. Usually, when you sign up on an exchange, you will be given a referral link. With this link, you can bring in new users like friends, family, and follower on your social media and in return you earn some rewards. The risk is low but you have to put in a lot of work to earn the passive income over time.

What about Pre-market? I know Kucoin do offer this and it has never gone wrong in anyway. Where traders got to trade a new coin with each other before it gets listed.
Anyone who is just learning to trade shouldn't attempt Pre-market trading on any crypto exchange. It is very risky due to factors like lack of liquidity and unpredictable price movements. I see it like a sword with two edges. That is, for a beginner trader it is a risky endeavor that can liquate them in a heartbeat while for the expert trader, pre-market trading is another opportunity for profit making requiring caution and careful risk management one of which is using smaller position sizes.

What are your thoughts on this?
Alot of lessons to learn from this incident, imagine he had rushed to kill himself, and Binance later returned this money? 🤦🤦🤦
I shook my head in shame as I muttered the word crypto gamblers while I read through Crypto Nerd tweets knowing that he wasn't the only one crypto bro who would have lost money that day but he was just the bravest of them all to actually acknowledge his loss in the public space. And it is a reminder to the other traders who hold meme coins that this type of fate awaits them if they become careless too by over-leveraging.

In the third screenshot where he said 180k had automatically showed up and he has something to start again, confirms to me that the particular trader is nothing but a gambler who likes to chase his loss. He wants to trade with the 180k again because he feels he will recover the money he already lost.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Trading Vs Hodling
« on: January 17, 2024, 04:31:20 PM »
Hodling is a risk free and profitable business where people get high returns.
If I were holding bitcoin which I am, I would do it long term because I want to believe that I am a bitcoin maximalist. But you see those altcoins which are in my portfolio, I hold them with lose hands. In those words my risk appetite is very low for altcoins as they are more volatile than bitcoin. We know the pump and dump mentality with them.

I have peace of mind holding bitcoin than trading which I attempt to do once in a while. It is not appropriate to put them on the same pedastal. One requires no serious knowledge while the other one requires specialized knowledge and skill to be involved with and that is one is trading.

Coinbase exchange, Kucoin, binance, bitfinex, gate.io, bybit, and kraken are best exchanges to buy and sell crypto currencies. These are considered as safe and reliable global cryptocurrencies platforms.
In my country, the most prominent cryptocurrencies in terms of user activity include Binance, Bybit, Kucoin, OKX, and ByBarter. Due to restrictions on direct purchases from these exchanges, we rely on peer-to-peer (P2P) services. Fortunately, there haven't been any reported issues with the use of these platforms. Some local cryptocurrency platforms have emerged, but they have fallen short in security assessments. Therefore I advise people in my country to adhere to established brands with a larger customer base from our nation for a more secure experience.

~snip~
Whew...finally somebody gave a solution to this. Thanks a bunch. I experienced this issue several times and didn't know that it can be fixed in the settings. Permit me to write the guide for those whose image may fail to load for one reason or another. Here it is

Step one - Click on Profile
Step two - Hover your cursor on Modify profile. In the drop down menu, click on look and Layout.
Step three -In the list of options, tick the box " Return to topics after posting by default."
Step four - Click on change profile in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.

That's it.

How can I enable notifications on other boards?
It is the same issue that I have notice. I have sent a PM to one of the moderators Vx1. Hopefully, I will get clarification and understanding about it too. If there is no response to this post yet, then I would share with you.

I don't even know what makes some people think someone like Michael Saylor will turn to be a father Christmas in giving away his assets to the people just on a voluntary platter of gold for nothing, people were also found a victim of scam because they are too expectant of something free to grab, all these are part of the ways this scammers take to draw our interest on what they are faking on us, we should be at alert on seing things coming as free, they might have an intention of attack.
It is only ignorant people that will fall for this type of scam. In fact, that video alone is a massive red flag. Infact if it were the real Taylor that promised such giveaways, I would immediately report him to the security agencies. In my country, they say if you are uniformed, you are deformed. Therefore it is only the uniformed people about crypto that will fall for this and end up being metaphorically deformed all round. In summary, before you invest in any crypto currency invest first in your knowledge about it.
