This is what Solana often experiences where their network is sometimes down in the past few days and often even experience it.
I wanted to make a withdrawal it was delayed from CEX then wanted to send from Phantom couldn't fail because the network was down, damn.

Out of the 65k tps, only about 800 tps are transactions, the rest are confirmation interactions between nodes to execute transactions. However, 800 tps is also a high speed in the crypto market and is enough to meet user demand.
If Solana is only temporarily congested by the memecoins trend, this is not a serious problem. I'm just worried that some kind of infinite loop bug is going on and could create a new outage on Solana in the near future. I hope Solana team is working to address this issue and will soon have an update for the community.

I believe that we can also termed the network congestion as a result of overcrowding of users flooding into the network in other for them to also participate an use the network service for their financial transactions in cryptocurrency, so this may not be a bad sign, instead a means to show us that Solana network in increasing the more each day and people are seeing it as one of the investment considerations they can afford to go for.

It's too many transactions being generated, beyond the network's capacity, which has led to this difficulty in getting transactions confirmed
As far as I know, it's being caused by several bots and there's a protocol that has launched "mining" on the SOL network that may be launching MANY txs on the network every second
It's not a problem fof servers or ordinary network users, even new users attracted by memecoins

The Solana network doesn't always work perfectly, and there are indeed occasional shutdowns. However, it doesn't happen as often as it used to. As for the motivation to invest in this coin, if you look at the Solana chart, you will notice that the coin has been growing rapidly since the beginning of 2023 and is already in the top 5 by market cap. When I first heard that Solana network was not producing block, I knew iy was starting it's usual rubbish and this is not good for the coin. It's not reflecting on the price now because the whales are holding the coin tightly but if this was in a bear market, the market would have collapse with this kind of consistence outage.
I'm not a developer but it would be better if they set up a node kind of validation to check for spammy transactions to make it clean from bots activities. After all, the network isn't decentralized, they can make a centralized way of stopping this outage every time.

Solana is not the first to experience this network congestion and we can as well assume the same happening with other networks as the case may applies on their own conditions too, this is nothing to worry about as it has no any implication to cause or raise alarm than we wait if not necessary that we make transaction in such particular moment and continue later after which the whole thing settles down.

It is not surprising if the Solana network has congestion because of the very well performance it has done recently. Because there are many community investors who have sold meme coins and other cryptocurrency under the Sol network in reality.
I don't really like to buy coins on Dex, I suddenly bought it because of Solana, so I researched potential cryptos on the gecko terminal under the sol network before I actually bought. But as far as I know, the network has normalized again.

It is not surprising if the Solana network has congestion because of the very well performance it has done recently. Because there are many community investors who have sold meme coins and other cryptocurrency under the Sol network in reality.

It looks like the Solana Network is congested because if you look at the transactions you were doing some time ago then quite expensive fees like that shouldn't occur on Solana because basically Solana has a goal of creating a very environmentally friendly network with transaction fees that are cheaper than the network.
