Why comparing always BTC only with Gold?
Silver is a precious metal too! :D

Attractiveness according to one person will be different according to another person, which means that if you compare the market cap between Bitcoin and Silver or Gold, then in terms of numbers Bitcoin's market cap is still inferior, but some people consider Bitcoin attractive because of its function and investment opportunities.

Bitcoin is closely related to Blockchain technology, so I am sure that some of the people who are interested in Bitcoin have never considered the size of the market cap, but rather its function. For me, the market cap list in the picture is only a general measure, whereas I don't really need it for my purposes of investing in Bitcoin.

I think the p2p trading method is good, and we can still carry out crypto trading activities on the exchange. I myself also use this method, so I send money to people for p2p transactions and I get crypto coins, be it Bitcoin or Altcoin. Likewise, if I want to withdraw money, I sell my crypto coins to my p2p partner and then the money is sent to my bank account. And so far I haven't had any problems, the fees are not too expensive in my opinion.
We can easily buy and sell bitcoins through P2P but OP wants to know how people in countries that don't allow all these crypto exchanges including bitcoins can buy bitcoins or sell bitcoins. If you have any idea about this then you can share here. From my idea as I said in previous post that here people of those countries can continue to buy and sell their bitcoins using VPN if you have any other way then please share that different way here.
VPN only unblocks internet access, it cannot provide trading even p2p for BTC/FIAT transactions (for local currency)... yes the point is that what is needed first is a service provider first, it must support the currency we have, it will be the same it is difficult to convert to foreign currency first and that will also have an impact when we want to sell BTC again.

IMO, airdrop nowadays is a total waste of time, there might be 1 out of 10 but I don't think how hard to get when there's a lot of task to do.
It's literally the best risk:reward trade for a year now if you're actually closely watching this space. Those who farmed the Jito airdrop received $15k+ with only a required staked SOL worth $200 for months. And that's just one of them.
Everything you mentioned is only the sweet side, even though that is not easy to achieve for most people. I myself saw this opportunity when the moment had already been missed, and many people were not even aware of this opportunity because they might have difficulty finding information.

From what I've seen, most airdrops are worthless, so it's only luck and the ability to get access to good information that has a chance of making a profit like you said.

Gambling discussion / Re: What inspired you to gamble?
« on: May 20, 2024, 07:21:01 AM »
As the topic clearly states it, what inspired you to gamble?
Entertainment inspired me to gamble. I gamble mainly for entertainment, I don't gamble for any other reason than that.  Although I gamble for fun, I only participate in one to two bets a week at most and I do not participate in any consecutive bets. There are many people looking for ways to make money based on gambling but I am not looking for ways to make money based on gambling. Maybe I'm still keeping myself pretty organized by not looking for a way to make money, otherwise I'd be addicted to gambling. I would say that one should always use a fixed budget of income for gambling and never use outside of the specified budget of income for gambling. Thus, if one can participate in gambling, he must be able to gamble responsibly and control himself.
Even though you have fun, I think you will be even happier if you get a profit or win from the gambling you do. Everyone likes money, so I'm sure you will feel a little regretful when you lose the bet. Maybe you can stop yourself from getting depressed, but the feeling of regret is definitely there, even if it's just a little.

Yes, as long as you are still able to bear the burden of the losses you cause by gambling, that's good. This means you are still in control and not bankrupt because of gambling.

The day trading method is indeed faster and forces us to know how to analyze and understand market conditions, know when to enter and exit to make a profit.
Daily trading forces us to risk our assets every day, so for those who cannot analyze well, daily trading should start with trial money only, because I see many beginners fail to make a profit, forcing them to leave the crypto space early before explore many other things.

However, for those who are already skilled at trading, it is usually easier for them to make a profit, so sometimes we see them able to survive using the money they earn from trading.

Same for me, I am also not counting how many times I commonly check market every day. because it's often enough. Somehow it has become a habit that when holding a cellphone after stopping for a moment, the thing to do is open Whatsapp and then open the market.
I think most of us do the same. We don't count about checking the market frequently. It is not necessary to count it, why we must know it.  ;D I only more often to check the market if I have a plan to sell my coins or I want to do daily trading. If it is a usual day, I sometimes didn't check the market. We know the market looks a bit sideway now.
Because I am a typical holder and don't make trading decisions very often, I rarely check market conditions. Initially, I often checked Bitcoin market conditions, but because there was never any impact or no action, I reduced my intensity in checking market conditions. I don't check the market, it doesn't mean I don't care about my assets, but this is also my strategy to be a little less emotional when there is FUD or when the market is correcting.

From my previous experience, my decisions are always messy because emotions are still involved. And my previous evaluation was to start using reason and mathematics to make decisions, rather than using emotion and heart.

Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: Invest or bounty?
« on: May 20, 2024, 06:16:56 AM »
There are still many airdrops that can make money, of course also with capital. As for the free ones, it seems like many are wortless.
but if we don't have time to do that, it's best to become a holder or trader, that can also make us profit in crypto
Many airdrops? I didn't see many of airdrops to give sufficient money for the participants. Most airdrops end up with no values tokens in wallets, it is very cheap even if it is listed on exchanges. Airdrops with capitals? I mostly do free airdrops, why we must spend money for airdrops.  :-\
The initial money used to participate in the airdrop is not paid to the company, but is usually paid to pay transaction fees as a network trial or whatever. Usually this type of airdrop is less popular, because I see that many people who take part in the airdrop don't want to spend 1 cent to pay network fees like in trial mode.

So, the percentage of airdrop success now also depends on the effort of a participant. The more requirements there are to qualify to become an airdrop participant, the fewer people who can take part, the rarer the distribution of airdrop prizes.

Tinggal disesuaikan saja sama gaya trading personalnya om.  ;D

Both a wallet and an exchange.

80% in the wallet 20% in the exchange if you are not looking to sell.

60% in the wallet 40% in the exchange if you are looking to sell

if you do sell pull most of the cash out.

always fear exchanges many crash an burn or get hacked.
I still think the portion you explained is at a reasonable level, I might want to help emphasize that this percentage is more likely to be appropriate for a budget that is allocated to cryptocurrency only, because I'm afraid there are still people who misunderstand this percentage. Never assume that 20% is from all your assets in savings, investments or in the form of assets, because it will be too unbalanced.

What we need to remember is, no exchange has perfect security, so all sorts of bad things could happen at any time, including hacking or other things that can cause loss of assets.

Sorry, I never used my real assets to invest in crypto. So I think I used % of our real asset to allocatee to crypto. I invested in crypto from bounty reward , profit of investment and trading since 2015. So, I think it's cold money.
Be careful to use real assets, because crypto is volatile and also unpredictable
That is also included in your asset category, it's just that you don't take it for a while, even though you can put it into your account at any time, so from my personal point of view, it is your asset.
I often mix all my income globally and divide it globally into expenses, so that every time money enters my account, it will be easier to calculate the different portions.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Has the bear market started?
« on: May 17, 2024, 08:33:18 AM »
I think I saw signs of a bullish market starting, opening with prices starting from $61k now to $65k... this movement has definitely changed market sentiment which thought Bitcoin would experience another correction, even though this was the starting point for the upward bounce that would occur for the next few weeks.

I am still very confident that the price will tend to stabilize and rise from today. I hope my calculations aren't wrong this time.

Crypto Wallets / Re: Best Ethereum Wallet with Lowest fee?
« on: May 17, 2024, 06:19:12 AM »
I think there are only two types of wallets that determine fees, namely custodial and non-custodial wallets. However, basically the amount of the transaction fee is based on the network fee, not the wallet, so it is possible that the custodial wallet will set a higher fee for ETH transfers to other types of wallets or other addresses when the fees are rising. Usually the fee will look cheaper when the transfer is made to a custodial wallet using the internal transfer method, sometimes even zero fee.

Easily dividing it into two is, custodial wallet = e.g exchanger wallet (more list : https://www.alchemy.com/list-of/custody-solutions-on-ethereum)
and non-custodial wallet = wallet where you hold the private key, this can be from MEW or metamask

Bitcoin has a high price only because Bitcoin was the very first of the cryptocurrencies; there are many cryptocurrencies that have a much smaller supply than Bitcoin and they may not cost anything at all just because they were invented much later than Bitcoin.
[/quote]
Ethereum has its own specialties that make it attractive than Bitcoin, while Bitcoin also has its fans for many reasons. Actually, from a functional perspective, I am more in favor of Ethereum because the smart contract feature really helps a lot in the cryptocurrency ecosystem. Although the facts speak that investors for Bitcoin are bigger and more numerous because Bitcoin is a pioneer.

Between Bitcoin and Ethereum both are the best coins at the moment, so if you don't like one of them, you still have a good choice of coins to use as an investment vehicle.

Dogecoin Forum / Re: What makes us believe in DOGE coin ??
« on: May 17, 2024, 05:05:54 AM »
But apart from that, what makes us believe in DOGE coins ??
Regardless of whether you believe in DOGE or not, I still use $DOGE for transfer purposes with cheaper fees. Everyone knows that DOGE is the best memecoin at the moment, and even has extensive and strong community support. So, holding doge for simple transaction purposes such as purchasing online services or paying bills online is the best option for some time.
