Stable Coins Forum / Re: Should you invest in Stablecoins?

For me, I don't invest in stablecoins directly. I just pair volatile coins against stablecoins on Bitget's portfolio to secure gains.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Hold and trade which is best for you?
« Last post by akeemqaz on Today at 12:40:13 AM »
Holding for a long time or trading frequently can both make money, but you need to pick the right way for you. I prefer buying and keeping my main investments long-term. But I also use Bitget's smart portfolio sometimes to get more Bitcoin when meme coins go up a lot against Bitcoin's price. This way I can try to get some extra profits while still mostly holding long-term.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Stay away from crypto ponzis!
« Last post by Captain Corporate on Today at 12:40:01 AM »
Seen another one today at Twitter, its really getting rampant these days, a lot of attention towards bitcoin these days so its easy to say what to like and what not to like. I feel like its quite obvious that we are going to have something that will benefit everyone. I think all of this profit making in the crypto world, or at least the possibility of it, made all the scammers come out of their hiding places again, so the yare trying to make it work one way or another. I think its clear that we are going to have a lot of people who will be scammed, either ponzis or some other method, its not really that great unfortunately.

I don't think anyone seeking a privacy platform would seeking social media to get information about it.. I wouldn't .
I cant imagine Mixtum and other mixers doing that on X and other social media websites.
They could only get more attention from governments by doing that, and I would avoid doing that and rubbing their noses.
Search engine ads and forum promotions are much better.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: is $60k the floor rate of bitcoin after halving?
« Last post by KingsDen on Today at 12:38:27 AM »
Many people think that when bitcoin halving, we will see the price of bitcoin rise high but it turns out the price of bitcoin falls. but I think this is just a correction and the longer bitcoin seems to struggle below after reaching ATH, that is our best opportunity to buy bitcoin.
It is true that Bitcoin will increase when the halving happens. But the price will tend to drop constantly after the halving. So, nothing is surprising if the price of Bitcoin is decreasing now. The ATH is also achieved before the halving, so it makes sense if there is a big dump after the halving. We need a correction to balance the market condition. It is also needed to make a higher pump in the future.
I think the current downward movement of Bitcoin is absolutely normal especially now that it's happening immediately after halving. For a lot of people, they thought that immediately after the halving the price of Bitcoin will immediately move to the upward direction but unfortunately for them, they didn't get their expectations. Crypto experts who does read the cryptocurrency market had initially predicted that the price of Bitcoin will move downward direction immediately after halving before a significant movement in the upward direction which will also serve as the bull run. Bitcoin is currently a little above $60 but when the bull run will commence, it's expected that the price will go past the $60 price that many believes is the floor rate by a landslide.

Solana Forum / Re: Future Solana Airdrops

Yes, one of the reasons why many people leave MarginFi is that there are internal problems and the point factor that is getting harder to get points.
It seems like what you said MarginFi is still worth using and they are still actively updating on Twitter.
MarginFi's internal problems? Has this been resolved or has their CEO left to be replaced by someone else? I didn't follow the progress of this project although some friends said it was pretty good.
It means that when internal problems occur then this does not affect MarginFi if so I hope there is no changed impression.

News related to Crypto / Re: Fake Trump Coin Offering Spreads Online
« Last post by Baofeng on Today at 12:36:41 AM »
This is meant to discredit Trump because he is running in the next election, I don't know his chances he better groom himself this early, news like this is bad for his image.

This scam is riding on the popularity of a certain personality and as of now Trump remains to be the leading figure in the upcoming November presidential election and Biden is trailing behind in many polls, despite the many cases filed against Trump. In fact, if election is held today Trump will be the runaway winner. I remember that there was also a similar scam that used the supposed endorsement of Elon Musk and it was unfortunate that there were still people who got victimized despite the obvious tell-tale signs that it is nothing more than a fraud. Now, this will not in anyway affect Trump in his election bid as he is a very resilient man...am more concerned on the lawfare thrown on him left and right and the ongoing biased mainstream media working against him. Yes, in the past, there had been many Trump-inspired memecoins but most of them are dead now but there is one particular coin called as MAGA and is enjoying a good price in the market. While I understand well the meaning of MAGA, I am not sure what can be the connection with this with the ex-president if there is one. We should be careful not to be deceived by people who are using their creative prowess to victimize people...and they can even be based in North Korea, Nigeria or even in Cambodia.

Yeah, and this could be trend again, as he or other personalities that are in the media or headlines will be used by some individual to make money from investors. And what's scary though if you have notice is the used of AI and fake videos and voices and others can also fall for this trick.

So perhaps this could be one downside of AI though, it's very real that we as humans can't distinguish who's real and who's fake.

In the beginning it was all "fake news" and whatnot, but now it's different so let this be a warning for everyone that even non-crypto individuals are also a target by scammers in offline and online world.

I did that on bitcointalk, but this forum has a good section as well. Doesn't hurt to make a post and see if anyone might have what you seek. If no replies, then you lost 5 minutes of your life making a post.
Where is the good section for doing that in altcoinstalk?
I will think about it, but I wanted to buy something that people are already offering to sell, not to wait who knows how long and get nothing in the end  :)

Bitcoin Cash Forum / Re: BCH or Ethereum, Which Is Better?
« Last post by akeemqaz on Today at 12:34:10 AM »
I prefer Ethereum over Bitcoin Cash due to its broader use cases and additional features, although BCH is also a robust cryptocurrency. My investment focus has been on ETH, which has yielded good profits for me so far. As for my BCH holdings, the returns haven't been as substantial. However, I've been able to accumulate more BCH by pairing it against ETH on Bitget's smart portfolio to benefit from Ethereum's stronger Performance. That's because I'm will to have the two in my portfolio.
