I don't think this volatility will last forever. It is already smaller than 5 years ago.
~snip~

As long as BTC is treated (by most) as a speculative asset, I don't expect that there will be any major changes. People buy BTC in order to profit from the change in price, and at the same time they expect this change to be as large as possible.

At the end of 2022, we had a price of 1 BTC of just over $15 000, today it ranges from $56 000 to $72 000 - looking at history, the volatility remained, only the numbers changed.

Here is the Bitcoin volatility chart since 2018

Every asset is speculative. Even usd. When a war , or covid, or whatever, people buy usd for protection and the price goes up.
If you take a look at dxy (dollar index) you will see its volatility

These days, almost every Web3 company tries to create NFTs with some form of utility or the other for the sake of adding more value. While some are only just talk, a few actually live up to expectations and turn out to be crazy useful even in real-world situations and events. I've seen some used as tickets for shows, confirmations for transactions, and most recently as login tools for web3 companies and traditional Web2 apps like Google Meet and Zoom. I think the latter was the most interesting I've seen so far. It was one of the avatars created using Lifeform's DID solution to create hyper-realistic virtual human pictures.

What amazes me the most is how it seamlessly works even on web2 servers, when normally I'd expect its utilities to only be limited to the Web3 space. I still find it exciting, but something tells me there's more amazing stuff out there.

Curious to know which ones you've found most interesting since you started dealing with NFTs.

Lot of various utility: fundraising, owning a share, staking, bonuses, but the most important is the access to great community!

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Notcoin On Binance 16th May.

What a fantastic news Free Telegram bot Mining Notcoin will be listed On Binance 16th May. I think ot is great news for Notcoin Minners. One side it is good news for Notcoin holders on the otherhand it is very very interesting Because Ton network supported Notcoin will be listed on Binance but Ton coin not listed on Binance yet, Very interesting.

Please discuss about Notcoin project and what will listing price. And price Prediction.

          -   Recently, this Notcoin under TON has become really noisy, and now it is listed on centralized exchanges like Binance, Bybit, and Bitget. And there are actually a lot of immediately established communities in the crypto space, to be honest.

But I just noticed something: I don't seem to see the Notcoin website; oh, maybe I just don't know yet, because when I typed in Google, nothing came up just now. I also have no idea what their legit Telegram channel group or Discord channel is, etc.

They have no website, but IMO they are not onboarding to crypto, it's onboarding to TON

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: are you joining GME?
« Last post by luckyledger on Today at 04:54:07 PM »

seem like very good opportunity since the roaring kitty is back. i was skeptical actually since yesterday but seems like this is a great timing where people are actually trying to beat the whales by buying GameStop (GME)

i hope they are into crypto already even the kitties in memecoins will do at least something like this will probably make the biggest revolution against wallstreet and tradffi institutions where there is no broker who could stop the buy button.

       -   Where can I buy GME now? is it available in dex? I don't have an idea yet, I'm just not sure if this is what I saw in coingecko, gamestop under uniswap and under base platform dex. Because since the return of Roaring kitty, it seems that I have had an interest in Gamestop.

Because of what he did before 2021, he was able to map surges of 1000% in the price of GME, if I am not mistaken in the idea that is known.

Be careful, if we are talking about meme coin it's already dumped

TRON (TRX) Forum + Ecosystem / Re: Are you investing in TRC20
« Last post by legend45 on Today at 04:53:24 PM »

It is better to hold on to some of the assets you own rather than having to sell them at prices that are currently still cheap, there is still potential for price increases that may occur in the next few years.
That's what we should do when the price of the coin we buy is still low, so we should hold it. Moreover, this season we will still see next year's bullish season, hold on to your coins and wait for the bullish season to come
Sometimes some people don't match our thinking, they are sometimes too panicked to decide to go out and sell at a loss the assets they own, but for those who have a lot of money and have managed their financial conditions well, they are not afraid when prices collapse and instead they will probably try to buy more.
The advantage for those who have more money is that they don't panic when prices fall and buy more to hold. Moreover, currently the bullish season has not yet occurred, so always prepare your funds to face corrections and buy when prices fall sharply

I skimmed through the website and it's new as stated in the OP. It looks like it is still not licensed but part of their terms they reserve the right to ask for customer information. It says fair gaming but it seems players cannot verify that claim (not provably fair). Since you're already tried it, maybe be more cautious when depositing huge money.

Thanks for precautions! So this kind of message for not licensed, and maybe something suspicious is allowed?

Bitcoin Forum / Re: High fees is a never ending story?
« Last post by Stompix on Today at 04:52:02 PM »

If you look at the current fees, it is around 6 sat/vB - 10 sat/vB. I don't think the price will increase to 30 sat/vB again in the near future. If the price of Bitcoin can increase more above $65k, I think the transaction will be a bit stable. So, we may see no much change on the amount of transfer fees in the next few weeks.

The 6sat/b is not a fee that will get you a confirmation.
It's a simple math of two values, either double the purging fee at which your tx is rejected from the mempool or the minimum lower inc ase there is no purging at all, there are 84 full blocks of transactions above 6sat/vb so even if nobody would make a single one you would still need 2/3 of a day to clear that up.

I see that there are still many people using the TRON network, this is what makes TRX not be abandoned. but TRON devs also have to think, many competitors have advantages, so it could become an alternative network besides TRC20
Of course, the TRON network (TRC20) is still widely used because Tron is an alternative payment that is easy to make with fairly cheap transaction fees, so many whales and other traders use Tron to carry out transactions between exchanges.
Yes, as I said, low costs for transactions will always be looked at and used by investors. Tron is one of them. I always use Tron for transactions, apart from being safe and cheap, the transaction speed is also good.

When talking about the interest we get when staking, we really have to compare. which coin is more profitable. And if I had a lot of funds, I would also buy all the coins because they have great potential to hold.
Therefore, before investing or staking, we have to pay attention to the interest we get. It is best to look for interest that has a very large amount because we can use it to buy daily necessities.
You are right, I also agree with you that if we have plans for staking, it is better to choose the highest interest rate because while waiting for the bullish season we can get income that we can use to meet our needs.
