Title: Bruteforcing a part of a password [2 XMR bounty]
Post by: BigDumbIdiot8754 on August 08, 2020, 09:35:28 AM
So, as my username implies, I am a dumbass who hasn't touched his monero wallet in ages and now wants to access his coins since the prices went way up. I have 8 XMR locked up in a wallet that I do not have the seed of. The password is about 43 characters, but I am not exactly sure. What I know is the first 37 characters of the password and I forgot the remaining 6 or 10. What makes this easier is that I know which possible ~16 characters of the keyboard the remainder contains, it's literally two rows of the keyboard, not including special characters or uppercase characters. I am using linux, and I have gui and cli wallets installed.

Whoever gets me out of this pickle will get 2 XMR, no shit, I'll post proof. I am just too dumb to figure this out by myself. Please help!
