Cardano Forum / Charles has to negotiate for USDT/USDC on Cardano
« on: April 29, 2024, 10:44:20 PM »

i'm no sure what they mean here when they say Charles has to negotiate for USDT and USDC to be in Cardano if he wants the price to go up.  i watch some influencers about this and they are telling what Charles has to do.

my question is what does negotiation mean?  i have my suspicions but too early to say whether it means Charles has to give away billions of Cardano to Tether and Coinbase in exchange for a million USD?

i just watched the Civil War 2024 movie, quite scary if it happens where you are in the middle of the wars of groups you don't wanna join.
there's a scene in the movie where they tried buying gas which when they said they have Canadian Dollar and the group of individuals who ruled that place accepted the money.  it looks like Canadian Dollar is  still sought after. i hoping to see crypto wasn't introduced there but none.

if we are in this kind of situation where the electricity is still on like its normal situation still and internet is accessible, wouldn't it make sense for the warlords to accept BTC and other crypto?

Gambling discussion / Would you sell your Winning Strategy!
« on: April 16, 2024, 11:15:07 PM »

been in a forum where everyone is trying to monetize what they have been doing online and i found one selling his trading strategy, it is different from betting strategy of course but just assuming you found a betting strategy of your own. you think its just you who discovers it.

and to sum it all up your strategy makes you win 80% of your bets.  would you share the strategy to someone for a price or not?

« on: March 19, 2024, 09:13:45 PM »

lets you are only interested to a main event in boxing, one football match and one cricket. is this common thing to do when you are just scooping some sports pickers on youtube?

i'm curious if i'm not the only one who plans to do this.

Economics , Sociology & Politics / Cereal for Dinner
« on: March 05, 2024, 07:18:44 PM »

because of economic situation today, more and more people are skipping meals not because to save extra cash but people don't have anything to spend.  i am not in a different position actually, i have my time where i have nothing to spend. so if i would consider eating something, i would eat something cheap like the noodles pairs with sausage or a bowl of rice and a few shanghai rolls which is even cheaper.

cereal however is what is suggested by Kellog's CEO which i think is far from what people have in mind when it comes to dinner because cereal is synonymous to breakfast. but anyway would you bring this up to your family to eat cereal at dinner?

[/youtube]

In a recent push to adapt to changing consumer habits and economic pressures, major food conglomerates WK Kellogg Co. and PepsiCo Inc. are reimagining dinner plates across the nation. With grocery prices surging by 25% over the past four years, these companies suggest that traditional dinner options could take a backseat to more unconventional choices like Frosted Flakes and Dorito casseroles.

WK Kellogg CEO Gary Pilnick, highlighted cereal as an economical and versatile dinner option in a CNBC interview, stating, "The cereal category is a great place for consumers under pressure. We’re advertising about cereal for dinner. Think about the cost of cereal for a family versus what they might otherwise do."

Edward Snowden was predicting more countries will be using BTC for international transactions. And the first to have done this is Russia just 2 days ago, a news comes out about New Cryptocurrency Move from Russia! "The First Approval Has Arrived!"

Quote
Accordingly, digital assets such as BTC can be used as payment in the import and export of goods and services within the framework of the country's currency regulation law.

Chairman of the State Duma Financial Market Committee Anatoly Aksakov said that the adoption of the bill regarding cryptocurrencies in the lower house was a “historic decision”.

in such case, countries trading with Russia i guess will likely be paying BTC for their gas. this is where government i think will be dropping their local currencies because its going to become less and less valuable.

you think US and China will follow?

just as the title goes. would you create malicious topic against a competitor if your company hires you to write something like this?

lets say you are hired by a casino to write a negative review to a competitor on their ANN thread because they want their casino to be noticed. the casino is just an example. there are lots of companies in crypto including the crypto projects. i see some users writing negative topic to a a token project and they compare the token project they support as if he is paid to do it.

here's a situation, lets say you made money up to $300K this bull run and then you keep it on USDT and then waiting for the market to bottom.

would it change your position and not keep them in stablecoin instead if looking at the future that $300k might not have its purchasing power due to inflation?

i heard this Cardano Naming Service a week ago from an influencer and i thought i could use it to register some accounts. i have no idea how much is the fees actually but i would be willing to pay some ADA for registering some unique names.

the services i'm talking about is https://cns.space it was said to be launching this Feb 7 but i checked again it is still not working. it must be cool to own some cool names.
i'm thinking of registering something like stake.ada just so i can auction it for profit.

and maybe this project also will have drop for its token. i don;t think this one has a token of their own.

Cryptocurrency discussions / SOVRYN a DeFi platform for bitcoin
« on: January 26, 2024, 09:18:25 PM »

ccto

this token rose up to more than 100% while last week it was just $0.49. i was fascinated by how it suddenly bounce up and create a buzz just yesterday.  but before this, its ATH was actually more than $70 back in 2021 so its crazy how they got so low.

it was said the recent rally was because the team introduces BitcoinOS aiming to solve smart contracts and scaling solutions. so would you trust this token to go beat its ATH in the next bull run?

BitcoinOS is set to resolve any limitations posed by Rootstock's sidechain technology, paving the way for a more expansive and interconnected ecosystem. This development is not just a leap forward for Sovryn but a monumental stride for the entire crypto industry, offering developers an unprecedented chance to create and innovate directly on Bitcoin, the world's most secure blockchain.

Bitcoin Forum / could adoption make BTC price less volatile?
« on: January 21, 2024, 08:59:19 PM »
since the next halving will only generate 3BTC for each block, this number could easily be absorbed by the institutions wanting to grab more BTC.  due to less supply in the market there are speculation that this could even be the last bull run. do you think so too?

and could adoption of BTC make the price less volatile that not too many people will sell and the price will be stable?
just something to foresee what could happen in the future.

Sorting Box / Toncoin (TON)

The Open Network   with their currency named Toncoin (TON)
A decentralized and open internet, created by the community using a technology designed by Telegram.

https://ton.org/  Cryptocurrency is the heart of TON
Toncoin is TON's native cryptocurrency. It is used for network operations, transactions, games or collectibles built on TON.

TON is gradually gaining popularity and they even have their own launchpad named TonUp, i think we will be seeing more project  in this L1 platform sooner. theres got to be more than what we could say about this token that suddenly just emerges on top of the CMC, currently at the 15th.  they are yet not on big exchanges like Binance or Kucoin but its on Bitget.

when you have a telegram account, you then have the builtin wallet in the network but the one they are proud of is the Tonkeeper, you can download this on playstore and iOS.

just shilling, i think this token could have its own forum here.
