I am creating a thread to update the current price of IOTA on a daily basis.
Updates will be daily. :)

What is IOTA?
Quote
A permissionless distributed ledger for a new economy
source: https://www.iota.org/

Stay tuned for daily price updates. :)

The price is stable for now, somewhere at $0,30. I have read the article with IOTA price's short and long term predictions, there's information saying that the price can go up soon, but it still staying stable during a couple of months. When do you think will there be some kind of changes?

Have you bought some? Or still waiting for the perfect timing? I think it the best time to buy MIOTA because according to the predictions the price can go up in a couple of years. So while the price is still somewhere at $0.29, I suppose it's the best time to become a part of the community.

From the new report, it seems that there is substantial equity held by Starbucks – the biggest coffee and snack provider globally – in the forthcoming cryptocurrency platform Bakkt. The company has earned its shares as part of a jointly constructive agreement. Starbucks’ partnership with Bakkt was initially revealed in August 2018. It is aimed at enabling bitcoin payments.

The giant now plans to install Bakkt’s payment software in all its stores such that clients can make payments using cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Ripple (XRP) and others. The system will be changing crypto to fiat such that cryptocurrencies are kept off of the company’s account.

Bakkt is also considering to provide cryptocurrency-related services in 2019. The Intercontinental Exchange owned firm is soon establishing physically-backed BTC futures undecided approval from the United States CFTC.

In August 2018, Maria Smith, Vice president of Partnerships and Payments Starbucks, stressed the company’s strategies with Bakkt, he said:

“As the flagship retailer, Starbucks will play a pivotal role in developing practical, trusted and regulated applications for consumers to convert their digital assets into US dollars for use at Starbucks.”

but there is an argument to be made that crypto could merely not manage even a small percentage of its commercial business with instantaneous, on-chain transactions

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: fake coin
« on: March 03, 2019, 07:15:32 AM »
Sometimes it is difficult to distinguish the right coin with a fake coin or scam. The best way to avoid it is to seek as much information about certain coins. Then see if many people buy the coin, and look at the background of the coin.
Sometimes even if you already do that we are still stuck with fake coins, maybe the best and safest is to buy the right coins are guaranteed like ETH, Litecoin, Ripple and others who are in coinmarketcap.

yeah I got your opinion, but sometimes the market needs development, so we have to give opportunity to new projects as well, I'm not saying to all projects please note, and before investing it's advised to pay attention to the team which is developing the project, its previous records, experiences and so on

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Who Is To Blame For Low Prices?
« on: March 03, 2019, 07:12:25 AM »
I've been in a lot of telegram groups of various ICOs and I usually see these kinds of questions:

Why no volume on exchanges?
Why the price is low?
What is team planning to increase the price?

While I understand the frustrations and disappointments of traders and also hunters, it is also a bit unfair to put the blame to the team for the coin or token's low price especially if they have been working hard enough to deliver the product as promised.

We have to understand that the team can only do so much to create product awarenes and demand. But it is the market that ultimately determines the price. In a bear market, even the king of crypto suffers.

Probably it would sound a bit silly, but who's the king of crypto in your opinion?

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: The crypto market is back green?
« on: March 03, 2019, 07:06:35 AM »
As we see together, the market returns green with a fairly short time. Will this continue to rise and at least last for a long time? Or just part of the pope's game? Please share your opinion. Thank you so much. :)

I think that it's just temporal state, as we can see it now it's going down again.. so don't believe that it's something about which we should be happy

2017 was a new start for the whole crypto industry, but now it's finally going up
