But it is the strong balance of all Ethereum functions that gives an advantage even over bitcoin. The speed of transactions can be taken as an example. I also think it's really hard to beat Ethereum when it comes to Smartconctracts.
In 2016-2017 there was Waves who created Smatcontracts but unfortunately until now Waves Smart contracts are not selling well in the market and Waves now tends to be under-noticed by cryptocurrency lovers.
