Hackers Have Stolen $100 Million From Defi Projects This Year

We may not forget the Kucoin case being hacked which was mostly a DeFi project.

In first six months of 2020, 45% of all thefts were Defi hacks, equating to about $51.5M — 40% of hacked volume for that time period. So far, in second half of 2020, Defi has dominated 50% of all thefts, equally roughly $47.7M — 14% of hacked volume for this time period.

What happened to the DeFi project right now?
Is it because of a weak security system? Or is the project team not careful in collaborating with third parties?

Recently hacking and scamming a common phenomena in cryptocurrencies market. Kucoin , dai defi , pickle , plus token scamming and more than $100 millions DeFi projects scamming already hampered the market.

In fact, I have seen many impossible things made possible by hackers.  A few days ago I saw that Kucoin has been hacked.  Again I noticed some scamming in the DeFi project.  As it turns out that investors are more inclined towards DeFi, some projects are being scammed.  And from there, investors are losing a lot.

Undoubtedly and unfortunately it's a bad signal for our Cryptocurrency market. However we are in better position now and bitcoin market today goes to all Time high record.

Seem investors are not deterred from investing in DeFi, until now DeFi is still favored by investors even though there have been many cases of hackers
