Buzzex Update - July 3, 2019

Today we have another update with an overview of things we are doing for the Buzzex project, and what will happen the upcoming weeks and months.

We are doing a massive amount of work in the backend so we can get the football site of the Viral Media Network up and running before the upcoming football season.

In this post, you’ll also get more details on how this partner project will benefit the Buzzex project and BZX holders.

So let’s get to it!

Timeline Overview

Let’s get straight to it and update you on what we are currently doing and what we’ll be doing the upcoming weeks.

Football Site Ground Work

The last weeks we’ve been working overtime to finish the groundwork of the first asset in the Viral Media Network, the viral football site.

This includes:

- Adding 1950+ Football clubs to the site

- Add logos in all Football club’s channels

- Add content (videos) in all channels

The first two items are completed and there are now 1950+ football clubs from all over the world listed. Adding videos is now in progress and will be completed in a few weeks from now.

Football Site Development

The development of the football site is minimal and consists out of 3 phases:

- Small tweaks to the core script

- Integration of Football Fan Competition

- Optimizations

The first item is completed and allowed us to add pre-defined channels of all football teams, which is already completed as well. This item also included choosing your favorite team so you can share videos directly into the channel. This is unlike Youtube where every user shares videos into its own channel.

The next item will give the channels a whole new perspective.

This item is ongoing and will be completed during the second week of July. We’ll use a football API to pull in all teams and fixtures so our in-house competitions are synched with real games of all Football clubs, and linked to the channels which are already added. All leagues will also have its own ranking tables so fans will have their own competition.

The last item is optimizing the site for better user experience. We’ll keep this basic as well and simply optimize the script using all its elements.

So in short, we are right on schedule to launch the Football site right before the upcoming season in most major competitions.

VMT Token Trading

The moment the site goes live, we will add VMT tokens to the Buzzex exchange and make it a base currency. This means VMT’s will trade for every coin and token already listed on the exchange.

The goal is to use these base markets to grow the overall volume on the Buzzex Exchange.

VMT Buyback And Profit Share / Burn Program

Once the site is launched and the bounty program to promote it has started, we will integrate the profit share setup into the Buzzex platform.

The moment this is completed, the buyback and profit share and burn program will start. More details related to this will be shared the moment we start integrating the setup, which shouldn’t take too long as we already have this to share BZX staking rewards and trading fees.

VMT Tokens

So why would people buy VMT Tokens?

VMT’s have the three most important aspects needed to make a cryptocurrency grow in value:

Buzzex Update - July 24, 2019

As we have reached some more deadlines in our project, we are happy to post a new update with details about what’s going on.

In the previous update, we explained that we are focusing on setting up the football website, which is the first asset in the Viral Media Network. This will allow us to:

- Add VMT as a base currency on Buzzex

- Earn ad revenue

- Buy VMT’s from the market

- Distribute 50% of profits to VMT holders

- Burn 50% of profits from the total supply

We also explained that VMT’s will become a crucial element of the Buzzex project as it will allow us to grow the volume, which in return will benefit BZX Coin holders as well.

Buzzex Withdrawals And Deposits

Let’s first start with mentioning that we need to do a script upgrade on our deposit and withdrawal setup for Ethereum. Some delays have been caused by this.

We can assure you that all your coins and tokens are safe and everything is monitored manually at the moment.

As soon as the current items of the football site are completed, the upgrade will be done and automation will resume as normal.

VMT Info Site

We have completed an information site for the Viral Media Token.

As some members have pointed out, we’ll still add an SSL certificate so the site will redirect to https.

The site contains all info needed to get a good view on how VMT’s will gain value, and how our side project will help Buzzex and our entire project as well.

Viral Football Site

As we are mainly working on getting the first asset in the Viral Media Network ready, namely the viral football site, most of today’s update will be regarding this.

The goal is to monetize this site with regular ads and use those advertising Dollars to buy VMT’s from the market. 50% of the bought VMT’s will be distributed to people holding VMT’s on Buzzex, the other 50% will be burned from the total supply.

So VMT will be a hyper deflationary cryptocurrency, that at the same time rewards people for holding them. We believe this is the perfect setup to create a very valuable asset as it contains the two elements needed to achieve that:

- A constantly lowering supply

- Daily rewards for holding the token

At the same time, VMT’s will be an interesting token for daytraders as well as it can become a safe haven token against more volatile crypto assets.

Football Site Overview

We are building a site that targets the 4 billion football fans worldwide. The site will be a combination of a regular live score site, with a built-in competition for football fans.

Fans will be able to vote on who has the best fans, and these metrics will be used to determine which team has the best fans. An alternative ranking table will be included so fans can not only see which team ranks on top in the regular competition but also in the fan competition.

Every football team will have its own channel with fan videos, and the video with the most views currently will be used for the upcoming game.

Football API

We are using a football API on the site which pulls in all the real games being played by the teams in every competition, so the fan competition will run parallel with the real league's games.

This gives the site an extra edge, and will also allow us to add real scores and real tables of all leagues all around the world as well.

Business Model

Our focus is on two crucial aspects needed to create a popular site:

It’s viral in nature – Fans will share the upcoming games with other fans so they can vote for their team.

Retention rate – Because of the competition element and an additional feature called the "Ultra-Score" of every member (which will give them higher voting power), the retention rate of the site will be high.

There is no monetary aspect to the site and football fans will use it because they like to use it. The site will be monetized as any major online business with regular advertisements.

IMPORTANT: Football fans are a very interesting target audience for advertisers. Just think about how much money goes around in football, and that a huge amount of the team’s budget comes from sponsorship deals. Football fans buy merchandise, pay for tickets, travel, tifo material, consumption etc.

The majority of the ad profits will be used to buy VMT’s from the market, distribute 50% of those to VMT holders on Buzzex and burn the other 50% permanently from the total supply.

Football Site Development

As the upcoming football season is approaching, we are happy to announce that we are making good progress with development and the setup.

We have already integrated the football API, created the voting mechanism for the competition and created the final layout of the site with tabs for easy navigation.

Over 1000 teams already have videos in their channel, ready for the competition to start.

Our opinion is that the simpler the site is, the better. So it will be very easy to understand and navigate the site, which in return will allow us to optimize the ad positions to generate more profits over time.

Football Site Launch

We decided to launch the football site in 3 phases:

Development Phase – The football site remains in closed beta until all features are completed. This phase is ongoing and about to end. This week another number of features will be integrated.

Testing Phase – Everybody that actively wants to help the project during the bounty campaign will be given access to the private beta site for final testing.

Launch – When testing is completed it will be made public, the bounty campaign will be launched and football fans will be invited to the site.

This site is much less complicated than building a cryptocurrency exchange from scratch, but a testing phase will still be implemented to ensure everything works properly.

Viral Media Token Trading

VMT’s will become a base currency on the Buzzex exchange. This means it will be possible to exchange any coin currently trading on Buzzex for VMT’s.

The moment the testing phase starts and active members will be invited to the private beta site, we will include VMT markets on Buzzex.

Buzzex Update - August 2, 2019

Today we have another update which will provide some more details related to the Viral media Network project, the partner project of Buzzex.

We want to start however with a reminder of our Buzzex IEO for VMT Tokens which is about to end soon.

And more importantly, the chance to take advantage of the huge bonus that only buyers during the IEO will get.

So if you don't want to miss out, make sure to acquire some VMT's today!

Important note: The IEO will end August 6 and the opportunity to get a share in the lifelong bonus will end permanently at that time. The price won’t increase anymore as well until the IEO ends.

Opening Of VMT Markets

As the IEO ends, trading markets on Buzzex for VMT Tokens will open. As mentioned in earlier updates, VMT will become a base currency on the Buzzex exchange.

This means that it will be possible to trade VMT’s for any coin or token trading on the Buzzex exchange.

So the moment the IEO ends, which is at 16:00 UTC on August 6, VMT markets will be added.

Start Trading Of VMT On Livecoin

A few people have done the swap to get VMT’s in Buzzex who stored ADZ in Livecoin.

We have made a deal with Livecoin, and they agreed to do the swap of ADZ to VMT and commence trading at the same time.

What’s important is that your VMT’s will remain in Livecoin, and we’ll deduct the VMT’s in your Buzzex if you have done the swap already.

We believe it’s important that VMT’s won’t solely trade on Buzzex, and will do anything we can to get it added to more exchanges. This will not only benefit VMT holders but the entire project.

So on August 6, it will be possible to trade VMT’s on both Buzzex and Livecoin.

Start Testing Phase Of Football Site

We are making good progress on the football site and will make the site public for the community on August 6 as well.

The main reason for this is to start testing the voting mechanism and ranking tables for our in-house competition, as well as having some data when we start the bounty campaign to attract football fans.

During this phase, which will last a few weeks, we will add all additional improvements to get the site ready to attract the main target audience, the 4 billion football fans worldwide!

Ad Networks

We will already place some ads on the site as well during the testing phase. One network we’ll use is called a-ads, and they pay in Bitcoin the moment your balance reaches 0.002 BTC.

This balance will be completely sent to our Buzzex wallet and used to purchase VMT’s at market price already.

2 things will happen:

50% of VMT’s bought will be accumulated and sent to all VMT holders on Buzzex (based on how many VMT’s you hold) the first day of the profit share, which will start shortly after we launch the main bounty campaign.

50% of VMT’s bought during the testing phase will be sent to the burn address, already making VMT’s deflationary.

During the testing phase, we’ll also test multiple other ad networks and optimize the ad spaces on the site to increase the site’s revenue, allowing us to buy, distribute and burn more VMT’s overtime.

General Development Overview

Next week, we’ll not only make the site public but also post an overview of the core features of the site.

This will also allow the community to follow along with what needs to be done before we can launch the main bounty campaign.

We haven’t been able to do this yet as the site was in development and private. This will change starting next week.

Bounty Campaign Preparation

Finally, the testing phase will be used to attract people willing to help out with the promotion of the site.

We are positive that in the cryptocurrency world there are plenty of football fans, who want to use this hobby site to earn some extra tokens. And more importantly, a deflationary token that allows you to earn a passive income for holding them as well.

Buzzex Update - August 10, 2019

Today we have another update related to both the Buzzex and the Viral Media Network project.

So without further ado, let’s get to it.

Buzzex Withdrawals

While the deposit issue has been fixed, the withdrawal issue still requires an upgrade in our codebase.

We have decided to handle all withdrawal manually for now on so our developers can focus on the final development of Tifoscore first. (More about that later)

All withdrawals will be done within 48 hours, mostly much faster. So this is just a reminder that your funds are safe and that the manual process might cause a slight delay.

Due to an illness of some of our team members, the withdrawals had a slight delay this week.

We’ll make it up by working overtime this weekend, so withdrawals will resume as normal until we are back on schedule.

Please note that there are over 3000 withdrawals pending and all of them are handled manually by our team members.

Ongoing Bounty Campaign

The main purpose of the current bounty campaign is to collect data and test our football fan competition.

We have been notified by some members that they haven’t been told a spot to report bugs, but we haven’t started the bug testing yet.

Our goal now is to finalize all items on the list to complete the site, after which we can start the bug testing phase to get the site ready to start inviting football fans.

So at the moment, we invite you to vote on videos in the competition tab so we can collect the data needed to test the competition in the backend.

Important note: As the site is still on a small server during the development phase, it appears the competition tab gives some errors or doesn’t load in Chrome. Please use the Firefox browser (preferably) to do the testing if this happens on Chrome for you as well. The transition to our main server is currently in progress, and the tab loads just fine there, so it’s merely caused by a resource limit of our current hosting package in the development environment.

Tifoscore Developments

We are in the last sprint before we can start the final bug testing which will allow us to start our main promo campaign.

Final items include:

- Complete move to the main server

- Integrate auto-update for scores of real and fan competition games

- Optimize ad spots

- Update collected data in ranking tables

- Add option to share videos

- Improve registration form

- Improve site design

- Optimize site for speed

Most of these items are already in progress. Once completed, we’ll invite users to test the completed site and reports bugs in order to get the site ready for promotion, 100% bug-free.

Main Promo Campaign

With the final items in development, and the bug testing phase followed shortly after, we can already share some insight into the main promo campaign to attract football fans to the site.

In order to make this succeed, we’ve decided to use the entire 10 Million VMT budget for the main promo campaign.

We are 100% convinced that Tifoscore has the potential to become a massive site, used by millions of people worldwide daily. In order to reach our main audience, namely the 4 billion football fans worldwide, we’re going to make the bounty campaign as simple and effective as possible.

It will consist of 2 components:

- Reach the core groups of fans who will share videos on Tifoscore

- Sharing of games and videos on social media

More details about how it will work will be posted before the site reaches the final bug testing phase.

Conclusion

Our main focus now is to set up everything in order to get the main promo campaign up and running.

The good news is that we are getting pretty close to get all features in place to start the final testing round, so we can maintain what we have without making any huge changes.

Live score sites usually don’t change in shape or form for over a decade, so we aim to simply monitor and maintain what we have the moment the bounty campaign starts.

This will be a historical moment for everybody involved in the project, and we are convinced we can enter a growth phase that will be unstoppable.

Buzzex Update - August 27, 2019

Today we have another update related to the VMT project and our first asset in it, the viral football site.

We are happy to announce that we have completed a lot of the remaining items the last weeks, and today we’re going to give an overview of that along with the few remaining items.

Let’s get started!

Move To Our Main Server

During the initial development phase, the site was on a small server which was only suited to get the site live for development.

Right now the site has been moved completely to its final destination, our powerful in-house server which can easily handle millions of visitors every day.

This will be much needed once we start inviting football fans to support their team, and this item is completed.

Adding Scores Of Fan Competition

The most exciting feature of the platform will undoubtedly be the fan competition. It allows us to measure fan performance to create an alternative competition for football fans that runs parallel with real games being played.

These scores now update every 5 minutes so votes will appear close after they have been cast by fans.

We also added a direct link to the games’ individual page for easy navigation in case you want to vote on a particular game.

Ultra-Score

If you click the dropdown, You’ll see your Ultra-Score. The more matches you vote on, the higher your Ultra-Score will be.

The Ultra-Score is calculated on a weekly basis and increases with 1 whenever you vote on 10 games. So if you vote on 100 games, your Ultra-Score will be 10.

The Ultra-Score is important for 3 things at the moment:

Higher Points – If your Ultra-Score increases, so will the points that are awarded to the teams you vote on. An Ultra-Score of 5 will award 5 points, an Ultra-Score of 10 will award 10 points, etc.

Share Videos – You need an Ultra-Score of 10 to enable sharing of videos in your team's channel.

Ultras Tab – We have added an extra tab in the fan competition ranking tables, and this will show the number of ultras every team has. If your Ultra-Score is 10 or higher, you will be marked as an ultra in this tab (this still needs to update but will be added shortly).

The Ultra-Score is an important feature to get engagement levels high. It will not only allow users to get extra benefits, it will also increase the number of votes on the site. The more ultras a team has, the more chances the team has to win games.

Sharing Videos

Along with the feature to allow sharing of videos for members with an Ultra-Score of 10 or higher, we are working on a feature to by-pass the Youtube API limits.

This mostly revolves around using the embed code instead of using Youtube’s API when sharing video links.

Once this feature is completed, we will enable the sharing of videos to make the content on the site user-generated and increase the number of videos every channel has.

Improved Registration Form

Initially, the registration form contained all teams listed on the site in one big list, making it very hard to find your favorite team.

We have improved this making it very easy to find all clubs listed on the site by adding extra fields for country, league and team:

This was a much-needed improvement to make the registration process for football fans as easy as possible and is now completed.

Adding Real Scores And Info

While we don’t intend to directly compete with the established live score websites such as Livescore or Flashscore, we did already add an extra feature and integrated live score of real games to the platform, along with basic match info such as the minutes played so far and whether or not the game is finished.

As for now, we mainly see this as a bonus and gives the platform an extra dimension as fans can see who won the real game and who won the fan game.

But as mentioned, our core feature is the fan competition and that will be our main USP when inviting football fans to the site.

Ultimately, we can sign up for a more powerful api to collect more data and get at the same level as established live score sites.

Ranking Tables For Fan Competition

Apart from the Ultras tab (which isn’t updating yet but will be soon), all other tabs are now updating based on data collected from the site.

As you can see, the ranking tables are determined by points being awarded for winning games in our fan competition, just as how ranking tables of the real competitions are determined.

Just as how fans can already compare scores of real games and scores in our fan competition, ranking tables of real competitions will be added below the ranking table of our fan competition.

This will allow fans to compare real tables and fan tables, adding another dimension to the platform.

Adding real ranking tables is currently being worked on by the team and will be added to the platform shortly.

Invitation To Continue Voting

As we are collecting more data from votes being cast during the development phase, we are perfecting our system of the fan competition, our core feature.

That’s why we are still rewarding people who help us with this through our bounty campaign here.

The more data we are able to collect, the faster we can perfect our in-house competition, so all help is welcome and we thank you in advance.

Preparation Of Bounty Campaign

As we are completing the final items on our list (7 out of 10 completed), we already want to give a heads up that the preparation of the main bounty campaign will start next week.

We are doing a couple of things at once at the moment namely:

Final check of all leagues/teams

Final check if all teams are api-connected

Pre-preparation of our main bounty campaign

Next week we’ll post another update with more info on the main bounty campaign.

At the same time, we’ll open up a suggestion box so that apart from our own final checks, we’ll be able to collect info on final bugs and suggestions so we can iron these out before the main promo campaign starts.

Conclusion

We are very happy with the progress we have made the last couple of weeks. We are working now on the final items and only a couple are left, while at the same time we are ensuring all leagues have the correct teams and the teams listed on the platform are connected to the api service we are using.

At the same time, we have received a lot of positive feedback about our concept from real football fans, who can’t wait to invite their friends to the site to vote for their favorite club.

There are nearly 2000 clubs listed on the site already, and each club has 100’s, if not 1000’s of fans who will have the same feeling.

At the same time, we have a solid promotion campaign planned that will allow us to reach the core supporters of every club listed.

This in combination with the viral setup of the platform and focus on high retention rates will ensure we will be able to grow the platform very fast.

We look forward to make it happen and start the VMT buyback/burn and profit share distribution using ad revenue from the first asset in the Viral Media Network!
