As of now we can predict the future that Ethereum cannot overtake Bitcoin popularity and price not unless BTC down to earth and be killed. That day in case BTC found dead, roughly everything will change in crypto. Abnormality, dominion, and adoption could drastically shift from green pasture to devastation place as we know as of today how BTC effect and lead the tempo all over crypto sphere.

I agree, Ethereum won't overtake bitcoin. I always believe bitcoin alywas be the King of crypto currency.
I think we all know as trader and investors, bitcoin price has been followed by altcoins.
So, It will never replaced.

Ethereum is the King of smart contract platform and bitcoin as the King of crypto currency.

Both Ethereum and Bitcoin are cryptocurrencies popular . Etherium is the second most popular cryptocurrency on the other hand the Bitcoin platform is the most popular and in the first place.  In terms of price, Bitcoin is far ahead of Ethereum in popularity and top, so it is not possible for Ethereum to acquire Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the king of all coins in cryptocurrency.  From the day I started working on cryptocurrency, I have never seen Bitcoin surpass all other coins. If we consider the price of Bitcoin and the price of Etherium, we will see that the price of Bitcoin can never exceed the price of Etherium.
