Crypto ICO's are killing Bitcoin
« on: October 13, 2018, 08:03:08 PM »
Why cryptotraders and exchanges support ICO's, my reasoning is this: An ICO gets funded, then they do what, they SELL the BTC they raised for fiat and push the price dive on BTC, thus taking all those BTC out of the trade environment, anyone thinking that an ICO would reinvest into the exchange is naive. This hurts everyone, even the exchanges. You might say "Well the exchanges get fee's on ico" well that is true, but they are losing all future potential fee's on those coins, if they had continued trade on the market.

I think ICO is circulating this will not be able to kill BTC,ICO is only as a bridge and also as one of the solution to economic problems and maybe also this ICO for technology financing that wants to be developed by a group that has a very useful concept project big,so this ICO can actually make bitcoin more expensive because more people will know cryptocurrency.

In this case, this is reflected more on Ethereum than on Bitcoin, because most of the projects are made on the Ethereum platform and basically the investment is received in this coin, and not in Bitcoin!

In my opinion not. more and more crypto currency variants are getting better for users and the development of digital currencies in the world. We can have various options for investment or trade or mining. We can choose the best cyrpto currency from all that is on the crypto market. This will make crypto currency competition even tighter, and currencies that have good management systems and trust levels will be chosen by crypto users.

This year is not the year of ICOs. This is where ICOs totally affected either by scammers, the down market, or both. Most ICOs were not able to reach the soft cap leading to halt of the ICOs. But, I don't think that this scenario is affecting bitcoin. It is a bit independent of ICOs of not performing well.

I think we need to have some rules to control this madness market. Otherwise those scams ICO will continue to destroy this weak market and Bitcoin too. Because everything is still newborns so it’s really easy to collapse

i  think the crypto ICO make an affect to the ETH more than BTC, and the price BTC go down largely cause by Shark, they can control the market and pump or reduce the price of bitcoin. So the price of bitcoin go down or up i think do not relate more in ICO

In a real thing that kills bitcoin is just bad news circulating everywhere ... and when bitcoin goes down the altcoin will down too because they think that the decline in bitcoin will have an impact on the altcoin price. Then does ico kill bitcoin ?? I don't think so, it's precisely that making bitcoin has more fantastic prices. The one killed by ICO is ethereum and even the ico project has chosen to exchange eth for bitcoin. Then will Ethhereun rise again? I don't know and I can only hope for ethereum to rise again

If there is a coin that ICO's are killing, that would be ethereum and not bitcoin. Most of the funds collected by both legit and scam ICOs were Eths

Has a weak overhead on ICO.If an someone wants to offer ICOs, the regulation should require them to ensure the ICO meets certain criteria.

No other can be able to kill bitcoin unless it is permitted by its own core system. Despite of the ICOs in crypto using other platforms bitcoin won't be shaken and not intimidated as it is the most powerful and potential coin in crypto world of coins and opportunities.
