Libra is now Diem, yes its true libra change their name to Diem.

Logo remains the same. I think its not good step.

Libra changed the name of their cryptocurrency to Diem. Now just the waiting turn, I’m thinking of investing. If it is listed in good exchanges, I will definitely invest in it. Since the name has changed, I think the team is doing a lot of work.

Why invest in a stablecoin, which by its very nature cannot be profitable? Why buy the same dollar as Diem? Stable coins are needed more for certain practical purposes, as a buffer when exchanging cryptocurrencies, or simply as temporary storage, which can then be quickly transferred to a specific cryptocurrency at the right time. Diem is unlikely to be any particular stablecoin anymore.

Libra coin change the name but they remain the Logo may be they have any good plan about this great project becasue so many scammers that can create the fake coin which is related to the Libra coin becasue already 1 coin is launched in the amrket and peoples will invest they think that facebook launched that coin but that is a fake coin and they loss their money.

I think it is very true, this is a step that is not quite right from LIBRA because the name change is very strange in my opinion.
DIEM, is like a familiar name and this makes me confused because Facebook is cooler because it has the name LIBRA coin.

As far as I know LIBRA changed its name to Diem due to regulations from several American and European countries, so it changed its name to be accepted it

Yes...i open their web recently and redirect me to new domain called diem....looks like their need more preparation on launching this coin....in their roadmap i was read that diem not be a Facebook coin anymore....correct me if im wrong please

The reason for that could be a bad reputation it may have developed with all enthusiasts of solely electronic or hybrid (which diem is ) since Diem have been a long expected releases that have had not been coming for long time since. Are we not all waiting for the Western Union style money transfers around the world with ease of FB

If that's the case the answer may be obvious and it's also for the good of LIBRA.
I also think this is the right choice for LIBRA because if a project is not accepted with its name or symbol it cannot run.
The problem with a familiar project name can be a failure for the project, isn't it weird ! LOL

+1 for the information on changing the Libra name to DIEM. And now we all know the reason why LIBRA changed its name. DIEM ? yeah that name in my place means Not moving (No change).

It's very risky and it's not very good for Libra to change itself into a DIEM.
I don't understand what happened to LIBRA but for sure this has something to do with the internal party of LIBRA itself.
I don't like the name DIEM because it's often less pleasant to hear than LIBRA. In my opinion!
