The Bank of Russia has offered an update on the future of the digital ruble pilot, the Russian central bank digital currency (CBDC). The bank’s press service clarified that the pilot will continue throughout 2024.So there won't be any digital ruble until 2025 if I'm not wrong? I believe that they'll launch their CBDC in early 2025 or maybe in final quarter of 2024. They even claimed that there won't be any transaction fees for customers or citizens of the country which's a positive thing I believe.

The digital world is becoming more digital by the day. It's obvious that crypto currency is not going to be the only digital form of currency. This is indeed a welcome development from the financial perspective. We basically move about with our digital phones, so there is nothing wrong in carrying our banks about.
