I am sure that Ethereum will be classified as an asset and not a security...as we have already glimpse of the mindset some regulators towards this platform. Ethereum has already reached a certain level that making it as a security will have some form of a backlash. And with it already in PoS this makes Ethereum smelling good with those who think they are the savior of the planet...and I know that many regulators we have in the government can be under this thinking. Of course, this is just a wishful thinking from me as I don't have the power to influence the regulators.
