But even the normal people don't want to use CDBC. They think that it is too complicated ("why should I use that when Venmo/Zelle/Cash App works just fine for me?") and most are not at all interested in trying to learn complicated things that they don't understand like what a CDBC even is - they'll just think of it as yet another money account.

I agree with what you have said, but we must add the older population to that. Not everyone knows how to use smartphones (in fact, most don't even have these devices, and if they do have them, they are very basic models that do not allow the installation of external software.), not everyone knows how to use applications to manage their finances, since many of these people only use cash. If CDBC is a standard in the near future, who will teach these people how to use it?. We only have to see what has happened in the areas of China where a pilot test was carried out, total chaos in some cases.

maybe we can add to group, so every post will moderate but the problem is they will make another account ;D

That wouldn't help much, as you already know new accounts would be created to continue with their nonsense, unfortunately, they don't realize how useless it is because their posts will be deleted. What is more effective is to lock the thread and give the OP a chance to reopen it after a simple PM, although it is something that never happens, since the OP doesn't care about the thread at all. In any case, if that user does the same thing again, they will have one last step to have their account blocked.

https://cnnespanol.cnn.com/2024/05/04/por-que-celebra-dia-star-wars-4-mayo-may-fourth-orix/

Dogecoin Forum / Re: Future of dogecoin
« on: Today at 07:31:10 PM »
Everyone has their own way of managing their portfolio with a little tweaking and input from others and learning from experience.
I also thank you for reminding me and giving me new knowledge.

Yes, of course. At no point have I said that we should all have a single way of thinking or acting, that would be crazy. What I'm saying is that assuming certain things can make us 100% wrong at some point, because it has happened a long time ago on more than one occasion. I understand that what I say may sound strange, but that's how I think.

Even though we have to have our own analysis, at least as a literacy we read the news and get input from other people, even if it's just input because the decision is still our own analysis and decisions. because after all, it's our money and it's our risk

I completely agree with you. Listening and reading are things that will always help us learn from other points of view to be able to put together that information with our own ideas.

Forum related / Re: Why is this common here.
« on: Today at 07:06:32 PM »
I have created topics on this forum and also the btt forum, usually for discussions that I feel less confident will bring interesting discussions, it crossed my mind to embed that word. Yes, maybe in a slightly different way with the aim of allowing other people to reply to each other on the topic created to produce lots of answers from various views. Until now, I have never felt that this closing word is widely used in this forum (or maybe there are certain subforums where many users use this word but I don't read it).

And I feel disturbed by embedding these words in the topic being created. I consider it a good effort to get useful replies even if the points raised by the person providing the answer are only a few.

Whether or not a topic has more acceptance and more interaction from users is normal, since although we always talk about cryptocurrencies, some users may be more interested in some things than others, that's not a problem. The "problem" is creating a thread to abandon it, knowing that the OP is not going to respond or give their own point of view. Before, some users could say that they could not control all the threads they had created, but now, with the notification bot that is no longer an excuse.

One more thing.
Given that this case can be considered solved, is it best to lock such threads or leave them open for further discussion or possibly if the member who was the subject of this investigation would like some further clarifications?

I have locked the threads, although I can open them if any user is interested. Anyway, I've edited my posts to let the OP know that I can reopen them in case he's in charge of providing support and updates. If the OP wants to open the thread, he'll just have to send me a private message and I'll open the thread as quickly as I can.

EDIT: If the OP of this thread, @Cazkys, wants to reopen the thread, he can send me a PM and I will open it as quickly as possible.

Thanks for the suggestion @examplens.

Like other users of this forum, I have been here when there was hardly any traffic, when there were no bounties, although I have also had periods of inactivity for personal reasons, trying to support the forum by actively participating. I think that's what a community is, being there in the bad times and also in the good. Although at times it has been difficult, the simple act of giving my point of view in a discussion, or helping a user with my humble knowledge, has always motivated me to continue. And as long as I'm healthy I'll stay here.

XRP - Ripple Forum / Re: What is your ripple status for 2024.
« on: May 14, 2024, 04:25:02 PM »
I sold my bag of XRP, but I've been thinking about buying for a few weeks now. What stops me is the current situation and the possible problems that Ripple may have with the SEC in the future, but on the other hand I think that the current price ($0.53) is a very sweet candy. If I continue waiting it is possible that the price will skyrocket and I will not arrive in time to buy cheap, but if there are more legal problems it is also possible that the price will drop much more... In the end I don't know what decision to make ???

Suggestion Box / Re: [Sugestion] Old Posts Remove
« on: May 14, 2024, 12:12:45 PM »
Maybe in the future posts in the bounty section should be exempted from activity and forum ranking. Such posts have a really small contribution to the forum, for example, a user who reaches legendary rank, where 99% of posts are bounty reports. It should not be the same as sr. member who wrote quality posts.

I suppose what you're saying could be a viable option, but in any case I don't think there are many users who have reached legendary rank simply by posting bounty activity reports, at least right now I don't remember any case. It must be taken into account that users who only post bounty reports have very little activity since they do not add up all the factors to rise to the next rank, so they would need a lot of time to, for example, become legendary.

The posts have been deleted and the thread has been locked.

If any user finds threads like this again, the appropriate subforum to submit the report is this: Decentralized Team.

Thank you all for your help.

@examplens +1.

Thank you all for reporting in this thread, sometimes we can't be there for everything, because there are many things that need to be done.

All useless posts have been deleted.

This thread will remain locked due to shill.

EDIT: If the OP of this thread, @Cazkys, wants to reopen the thread, he can send me a PM and I will open it as quickly as possible.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Anonymity - good or bad?
« on: May 13, 2024, 08:56:30 PM »
In fact, crypto anonymity is important here to protect privacy. If I say from my side I will say cryptocurrency is totally illegal in my country now if I have to use cryptocurrency from my country then I must keep secret. If I don't protect privacy, it will cause problems for me. This is how many maintain their privacy by not revealing their names. But if someone feels that no secret should be kept then that is his personal matter. For my part, I will continue to keep the secret because by keeping the secret, I will definitely be able to go safely on my way without any problems.

The problem is not your name, the problem is the IP. The IP (as I imagine you already know) is the first piece of evidence, so it is the one that should be protected the most. I don't use VPNs nor do I recommend them to friends when we talk about these things, in this case Tor is better. The anonymity that Tor offers compared to any VPN is much greater, but not 100% secure or perfect. What almost all VPN companies say is “no logs” and it is not true. What people need to know is that no one in charge of a company that offers VPN is going to jail for $5 a month, which is about the monthly price of the service. Tor is highly configurable, with a large community, and open source, unlike the software used by VPN companies.

Even though I think Tron is a very easy and simple network, unlike other networks which sometimes require MEMO to carry out transactions between wallets or to exchange places. Currently, TRC20 is also a network that is fast enough for carrying out transactions.

Each blockchain has its strengths and weaknesses, like everything in life, everything can be improved in one way or another. Tron is a very fast blockchain, it is true, and it has the possibility of making free transactions, but the dark side of Tron is its development. Considering that the Tron #DevelopmentTeam  has plenty of funds to add new features and make Tron reach more users, the only one we can point to is Justin Sun, who has been more concerned with having “followers” on X than on his blockchain. If Tron had a development like Solana, for example, it would be at the top.

Dogecoin Forum / Re: DOGE for Tesla
« on: May 13, 2024, 07:57:48 PM »
When will you people stop idolizing Elon Musk and dogecoin? Dogecoin will cost $1? It is not even close to achieving ATH. And Elon seems to be having little interest to dogecoin or cryptocurrency in general. I mean when was the last time his tweets having an impact on dogecoin price? It seems that dogecoin is having its own life, and Elon is busy doing his own things. In fact, do you know that he is former chairman and now only a CEO of Tesla? He owns only 1/5 of Tesla company. He cant decide on his own that dogecoin will be implemented to Tesla. He need acceptance of all board of directors/owners. And with his latest «success» with Twitter, I really doubt that they will listen to what he wants.

In addition to everything you have said, with which I agree 100%, we must add the legal impediments that Tesla would have to be able to accept Dogecoin as a payment method to buy cars from the brand, even if all partners agreed, the SEC would be the first to aim all legal artillery against Tesla. If it were easy, and there was no problem in accepting any cryptocurrency, Musk would have done it years ago, when his influence on his social network caused the value of Dogecoin to skyrocket. What people are waiting for (Dogecoin to reach $1 or even $100) is a utopia, even if it reached $1, the sales would be massive and that market value would last for a very short time.
