Bitcoin is very important for the crypto world. All the crypto depends on it because it is the starter of everything. People came in the crypto world believing in bitcoin. If one day bitcoin somehow gets exploited everybody will lose their belief in crypto. It is very clear to everyone how important bitcoin is for crypto.

Yes, you're right. Almost all of altcoins are influenced by bitcoin.
Bitcoin is always be the King of crypto currency and many altcoins have paired in bitcoin.
That's the reason why bitcoin always be needed  and has high demand.
I believe bitcoin will touch new ATH again, because It will have good affect for crypto currency market.

I think you missed an important point mate, altcoins are not fairly dependent on Bitcoin, but I agree that Bitcoin price performance can affect most of altcoins price in the market and the popular reason is that Bitcoin was widely used base pair of most altcoins in trading and another reason is the Bitcoin Market cap dominance.
