Title: Ripple a digital fiat currency or a cryptocurrency
Post by: Munareal on April 09, 2019, 09:48:33 AM
The blockchain technology is the protocol behind the cryptocurrency and a cryptocurrency not created on the block might sound strange especially to the newbie. Ripple has its own patented technology that is built on Ripple Protocol Consensus Algorithm  RPCA . A consensus node that is in agreement with all the rest and with no issue. Instead of proof-of-work, it uses proof-of-correctness. XRP does not rely on mining. Many see it as a digital fiat currency rather than a cryptocurrency so how do you view the ripple

Ripple coin is part of the altcoin which is a crypto product that emerged after the success of bitcoin and ethereum. And all of that can be called cryptocurrency. Although it has a different platform but it's still part of the cryptocurrency that we know today.

Cryptocurrency remains crypto.
Fiat is still Fiat.

Ripple is crypto and cannot be compared with Fiat, if it is compared with FIAT, Ripple is not crypto.

I think ripples are indeed a decentralized digital currency and ripples have a lot of cooperation with banks that make ripples become strong coins.

But Bank for now always have mission and vision like  cryptocurrency .
What is my question to you is, will the Bank release its period of cooperation with Ripple if the Bank creates a decentralized "crypto"?

I think if Ripple (XRP) is still classified as cryptocurrency. This is a digital currency that is indeed related to its use in many banks and payment providers in the world. However, judging from the system and technology and the concepts promoted by XRP, it is clear that this altcoin is one of the coins with the most efficient cost.

I remain positive about xrp, and I strongly believe that xrp is a very good digital currency and has the potential for long-term investment and development.

Actually, it already has a good price and seems to increase more. I think it is promising coin since it is supported by banks. I saw many investors are interested to buy Ripple now.

it is absolutely true that it would seem very strange to those who are unfamiliar with the world of cryptocurrency, but I am very sure that ripples are very potential.

XRP is just digital money with an effective protocol, I am not sure if it is faster than Visa, there is a fixed supply, the ability to decentralize if you want and is developed by a non-governmental team.
It can't be a cryptocurrency!

If the speed in the transaction may be a fast bee Visa because with a different system in sending money.
But I also have never seen and tried the speed of transactions from Visa in detail, unless I use a Debit Card that says Visa and that is quite fast for transactions.

I see ripple more as a coin banker, it can be said to be very stable but the price is not the same as usd. Because their network is widely used by international bank experts

Obviously it will never be stable because Ripple is designed to be decentralized.
It's just that what you say is true, Ripple is very much supported by Bank International and due to this effect, there are so many who adopt the Ripple blockchain system.

Ripple is a centralized currency, and it can be called crypto even despite this stuff. It is not any kind of fiat definitely. However, it cannot be also compared with real cryptocurrencies.

As far as I know the Ripple coins owned by the team are around 70%, not nearly as full as the team (for example 99%).
But with this centralized system many say that Ripple is fully centralized, but it is clearly not centralized because there are still 30% of Ripple coins around the world scattered as dencetralized. Cmiiw

if in my opinion ripple is a decentralized digital currency that is very good and has a lot of cooperation with banks, and ripples have great potential and become very good coins in CMC after bitcoin and ethereum.

It is centralized, and it is even not real cryptocurrency. being a virtual currency, it is not the worst choice for the bank operations and it can replace SWIFT at least (it might happen very soon).

Ripple (xrp), is an open payment system in beta, or simply put, a distributed, open-source payments system that’s still in beta. It been developed to make payments and transactions a free flow around the world.
