Bitcoin Forum / Re: ATH of bitcoin 2025 ??
« on: Today at 02:45:12 AM »
Bitcoin will touch what price at ATH 2025.
By looking at Bitcoin's movement during the end of 2023 and the beginning of 2024, can we predict what price Bitcoin will touch ATH?
By seeing at the chart on coingecko and CMC, it seems that bitcoin will touch more than 100K USD.
After the ETF was approved, bitcoin fell..
What happened ??
But for now, bitcoin increase again.

well I for one would like to know the highest number for all of 2025 and the exact day it happens. Then I could sell all my btc and buy it back cheaper.

So I will guess $123,456.78 on 03/03/2025 is the peak number for all of 2025 and the peak day

Many people investing are all or nothing.

Rather than 10 investments 10% each so that a drop is not fatal.

Instead  many are 100% in one investment and over there head.

The ones in over their head are likely sell on a dip.

I won’t argue, but all my friends don’t do this. Perhaps your circle of acquaintances is precisely the kind of people who invest simply without thinking about where they invest and how to do it, so you claim that the majority do just that.

Many does not mean the majority.  It is subjective term.  I would venture to say that at least 50000 people in the world are over invested in crypto and they will tend to be the panic sellers.

XRP - Ripple Forum / Re: What is your ripple status for 2024.
« on: May 07, 2024, 10:50:56 PM »
I also had some coins dumped from bullish era last season.
And, I also added some XRPs again several months ago, and now, they are dumped again.
Should I add more XRP again to wait it dumped again?
OMG, I don't know why but I'm still planning to add more XRP while I'm actually quite doubtful if this coin will rise up again or not,  or at least reaching the previous ATH. Poor of me.  ;D ;D

once a coin gets you down it is tough to decide what to do. I hope you guess correctly and do what is best for you.

In fact, it is much broader than the Musk project.

It has always been!
Because basically, Dogecoin has its own characteristics to be used as a transaction tool, one of them. and also as a meme coin which is the most important and trendsetter.

Dogecoin has all the characteristics of Bitcoin except the supply change, which is an infinitesimal increase compared to all the coins already minted.
Completely different for other meme coins doge has 99% usage and 1% things about meme, the other coins are all about trends, they have zero whatsoever daily life use, dogecoin is accepted everywhere and nobody laughs at getting paid in doge. Do that with puppydogmilkconfetti token!

That's right, Doge is very special because Doge is the pioneer of all the meme coins that currently exist. Imagine that previously Dogecoin didn't have many fans until Elon Musk started giving full support to Dogecoin and made the price rise to very expensive.

Not true!
Musk's first tweet about dogecoin was in 2019, dogecoin has always been a top 20 coins even before that:

Still mining it. I think it is the best coin for long term mining.

Crypto currency Mining / Will gpu mining get good this year?
« on: May 07, 2024, 02:12:40 AM »
I think gpu mining will get good again. So I picked 20 cent power cost will work for gpu miners.

So my buy is up to 64k it averaged around 57-58 k

not bad.

Maybe we push over 65k today.
It seems from coinmarketcap data that today Bitcoin managed to penetrate the sell order wall at $65k until finally a few minutes later the price fell again slowly to the current market conditions.

So we do have that $65k resistance. If we do able to break this resistance then we would be seeing 70k on fast manner but it seems that it would be taking a while if these corrections or rejections would happen. This is why for those who do love to play with these movements then they are really that indeed making money as of this moment. You would really be having these kind of impressions that this might be different but actually this is just an ordinary day here on crypto space. Bull run the shortest? We arent that even still on that condition yet.
We are really that still starting.  ;D

Well we are hanging in there. I sold off the coin purchased at 56.9 57.6 57.5 at 64646 frees up cash for a dip and ir is a profit.

2 years ago I sold a lot of btc at a loss just to have a write off for future mining earnings.

So I am in a no tax capital gain for about 35000 usd.

If you taken the mining gear out and just count the coins  under 5percent

This is very small. Especially for you that has been around  the forum for so long.
You basically sold everything along the years?

Yep I mined sold for profit and lived a slightly better life style.
I was a lot older already semi retired in 2012 and my wife was fully retired.

I could have done way way way better just doing a signature and holding the coins from that.

I choose to mine and sell which let me always make some money.  So the small amount of coin I hodl is a hedge against my wife's larger 401k in fed bonds.

I don't think I can earn much BTC from crypto forums. I focus on my outside work to earn extra income and use a portion of that income to DCA BTC + ALTS. This way is more efficient and generates more BTC than signature campaigns.

Why don't you try to use bitcointalk? You would be welcome there.
there are good campaigns there  too. Both forums  became important extra income for me

I earn 200 a week for my two signatures. One is here and one is bitcointalk.

Since my mine is closed down that 200 a week plus liquidating my gpus on eBay are large parts of my income.

It is hard for me to say what percentnofmmy assests are in crypto.

You don't need to say the values, just the percent.

I don't think saying how much you have is good for your privacy... anyway, what is important if your percentual %.

As you said  you probably has less than 40% in crypto.
less than 10 percent if you count the home and 401k as investments.

If you taken the mining gear out and just count the coins  under 5percent

My mining gear is worth at least 50,000 my coins are what ever.

My wife has a home and a 401k.
We have bonds.
We have silver.

The home is paid so if you count the home and the 401k they are over 1 million. My crypto gear and my crypto coins are way less than 1 million.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Do you still believe in old coins?
« on: May 06, 2024, 03:15:48 PM »
That's the reality, many investors are more confident in buying the top 10 coins than buying new coins, even though new coins produce bigger profits than old coins, but also with greater risks. I already have the coins you mentioned above. BTC, ETH, ADA, SOL and will hold them until next year
I'm not really sure about this, as history has proven the opposite. In the top coins of the bullrun 2017, many coins were considered failures when they failed to achieve impressive growth in the bullrun 2021: BCH, XRP, LTC, MIOTA, XEM, DASH, XMR. Only BTC, ETH and ADA continue to exist in a strong way and are supported by the community.

This could also happen to the current top coins, including BNB, SOL, XRP, DOGE, ADA. The crypto market is constantly evolving, only BTC and ETH will always be the cryptos that receive attention and money flow from investors. Other ALTS will face many risks associated with innovation in the market.

LTC/Doge are perfectly fine for mining.

They are both well supported for miners.

I am not really a guy who look into the prices very often but ever since halving I am keeping an eye on it, the prices on the way of declining ever since halving with deadcat bounce. As of now I am writing the price ranges in between 60-61K.

Speculators share your insights about how the price movements will be from this point.

this is now old news.

it was a buy the dip and hodl moment.

not the sky is falling moment.

15
So my buy is up to 64k it averaged around 57-58 k

not bad.

Maybe we push over 65k today.
