There are Bitcoin, and also there are Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold and B2X that we use it as an altcoin, but do we still need other altcoins? as i knew in the forum on the altcoin section there are much announcement about new altcoins almost everyday. do we still need that altcoins?

That based on yourself, If myself I need another altcoin because every altcoin have their advantages and I will use it to make a money, that like Steemit which have own forum and if we can contribute great and quality article we can get money from steemit.
I think if I only use altcoin like your altcoin, I will not developing in the crypto world because I always playing at the same place everyday, and if I'm try another altcoin, I will get better and more experience and knowledge.

There are lots of altcoins , each altcoin has different detail. Ok then, we can see that most of those alts are don't have a real function to the real world ecosystem. Just some (very few) of those alts have real case usage.
Do peoples still need new altcoin ?
There are various answer I think, based on what kind of peoples who answer that question.

Yes, Altcoin offer more feature, more good product, more speed transaction than BTC itself. So altcoin is needed to make the crypto world more better. If you have available funds and you want to invest them in high-risk assets, then altcoins will help you with that. They do not perform any other practical function, and if there are no funds for investment, then altcoins are not needed.

We really need them as we are looking for more projects and campaigns to come in altcoinstalks. New project can help altcoinstalks to introduce anywhere as long as there are businesses and people and also money.

If altcoin is created with same function to the other altcoin. I think its not healthy anymore. Let's say exchange platform. We do have so many exchange in the market creating another bunch of exchange platform will just hurt the cryptocurrency as a whole. Money won't be focus on one market anymore but instead it will scattered around the network. Further, creating another platform will not guarantee that the project will succeed in their quest to the ecosystem.

Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency but it does not mean we don't need other altcoins. If there are no Ethereum or EOS, we will lose a global distributed computing system, if there are no Ripple, we will lose a real-time gross settlement system, currency exchange and remittance network and if there is no Hyperion, we will lose a new spatial consensus driven map of the world for decentralized map economy. Altcoins have their meanings to exist but you have to be very careful about the scam and shitcoin.

Yes more than alternatives coins are good for investment and trading alternatives coins, we need alternatives coins because every coins has other purpose in development of the alternatives coins, for example there are alternatives coins just be used for games industry, gambling industry, finance industry and any other purpose. I think that despite the fact that many Altcoins, and especially of them, tokens are useless, in general, we really need them for the development of cryptocurrency. What i know is that bitcoins are the generals in cryptocurrency and altcoins are the soldiers that is behind the generals, i am sure altcoins is there to serve its purpose in crypto.

Bitcoin could stand even without alts. But alts could not stand without BTC.. Today, alts became shit because of so many token entered to the space. Some are scam and some failed to launch because of lacking funds. ICO failed because investors are now moving away from ICO because they think it's not profitable this day.. if without altcoins maybe btc won't last long, btc needs a competitor. or without altcoins it is also possible that not many will participate in transactions in the crypto market. Btc's current position is thanks to altcoins.

In my opinion, we really need altcoins to ensure that there are other competitors in the market too and we don't create a monopoly in the crypto market, as BTC has its functions and features some other altcoins are also having their own features which make them sustainable in the market , and also keeps the competition fair while creating opportunity for people like us to buy altcoin in budget which can maybe become a future bitcoin maybe :)
