Why you need altcoins?

I ask this to see what's  your reflection with regards to altcoins. Why you need altcoins?
Maybe for holding
Maybe for trading
Maybe for dollar exchange
Maybe just have collection
Maybe just have fun

For me, we need altcoins because we know the future of humanity is on going to be automated. Somehow, we sold because of Emergency and some valid reason but still we need altcoins.

Initially, altcoins are important to me in the event that I believe in the product itself, in other cases they are important in the event that they make the same X as Bitcoin for profit!

everyone needs an altcoin of course for each person's needs, some need altcoins to invest, there are also those who use it as a trade to benefit them, so everyone has their own reasons and goals, but most people have and use that altcoin to trade, even if someone uses it as an investment, of course they choose the altcoin that they consider altcoin to have the potential to grow in the future.

Altcoins are needed to create new technologies and promote a cryptocurrency industry, but for me, I need altcoins to make money, but also sometimes I use altcoins for other purposes.

I need an altcoin, because without altcoins, bitcoin can't grow as big as it does now,
and also the altcoin I need for transactions, because it's cheaper and faster.

Definitely the first aim is to have more value in dollars which some think is cool to have it also by having more value in btc and some for real use case like payment and some other value way to use them but surely everyone in crypto want more value in dollar.

Imagine if altcoins did not exist... Then there wouldn't be anything as cryptocurrency market. There would just be BTC and it wouldn't be fun and profitable. Now thanks to alt coins it's a whole market by itself. Altcoins are here for profit and competition.

I need Altcoin, Altcoin for me is a good thing and we must choose a good coin. On the other hand Altcoin I will make for trading and also as an investment place, I think this is a good thing and also the thing that has become my habit to always prolong Altcoin. In my opinion, because the cryptocurency world is the future of the world economy and will become the ruler of the world currency, because of the increasing value, there are many types of coins, easy transactions and many people who are interested in the world of krypto.

Besides being the future of world economy, one of the the technical reason is that Bitcoin has inherent problems due to its design, and people feel they can improve on it. For example, Bitcoin transactions have high fees and can take a significant amount of time to process, so some altcoins are designed to have lower fees and faster processing times. The “proof of work” requirement that requires a ridiculous amount of energy usage could be replaced with a different verification method, making the new altcoin more efficient and saving all the world’s energy from being used up to mine Bitcoin.

I do not understand the relationship of automation and altcoins as a cryptocurrency here.

The need of altcoins came because there are some developers who thought they can address the "limitations" of bitcoin as a digital currency. Many came since then and they are indeed better in terms of transaction speed.

I need altcoin but only those platform that benefited me which I can use on my everyday work or convenience. For example, an altcoin which I can supplement to credit card usage. That kind of alts is definitely a good alts for me. Other than that, the purpose of other alts are trading money maker for me.
