A Phenomenal Existence of OneCoin

I have hear about this coin from my father, he asking about it to me yesterday and I'm confused and asking to myself "what is OneCoin?"
And finally I just say "I don't know about that coin, because I'm usually using Bitcoin, Ethereum and other coin'' My father said if they know about that coin from his friend.

I seen many post said if that coin is scam and some peoples still confused about the existence of that coin.
I think this coin is not trusted because my father don't know ethereum, which this coin more famous so far than that coin, so I think that coin have a target with newbie peoples who don't know about crypto so that coin will be easier scaming them by promising the big profit by invest at OneCoin.

For the members here who really know about this coin you can reply thia thread about that coin because I want to know more about this coin. Thanks

This coin's developers is really smart which choose newbie peoples in crypto, I hear many peoples in my hometown they are invest in that coin, they just believe with the profit which they offers for their investment.
But I Never see experienced investors invest at that coin and I even I never see the exchange of this coin, this really make me confused, what's that coins purpose?

Now that you mentioned it, I believe I saw this being advertised on youtube before. That was when I was still learning about cryptocurrencies. Never heard or read about it since then.

I heard about onecoin from a friend last year 2017. He tried to convince me to invest in the project, though i was skeptic because i have very little knowledge about crypto. In early 2018, i came across "onecoin" in the news, unfortunately onecoin has been confirmed to be a scam project by many experts on crypto. Infact, i was lucky i didn't invest last year.

There are lots of projects like that. And most of them are hyip and fraud. People who do not know about cryptocurrency and have financial difficulties, they are very vulnerable to this kind of fraud.
That's why the government often remind to us (citizen) regarding that case.
