When people were saying that Nigerian government doesn't know anything about cryptocurrency I was disagreeing with them but with this news I can see that they are fighting blind war and they don't know what is cryptocurrency. They are not even doing any investigation before stopping the p2p in the country and how cryptocurrency investment and transaction is used to sponsor terrorism in the country. And that is to say that dey don't even know what they are doing. They are really confused of what to do know.

I have not heard in a country that gambling is in their educational curriculum and I don't think that is even good to add. Gambling is not something you advise someone to do e even though the government permits people to gamble in the country. Gambling empty people's accounts so telling people to gamble is not even good but you can only allow it to exist so those who interested can have fun with it and not taking it to the education sector.
Yes gambling has not been specified in the textbooks of any country so far that they have to be taught. I think there is no need to teach the students about gambling from primary to high school. If they get knowledge about gambling at this time, I think they will have a lot of reading difficulties and they will be attracted to gambling and become addicted to gambling. There is a certain age for gambling maybe university or later people will teach you about gambling I don't think gambling should ever be taught. Especially from primary to high school I never support textbooks to learn about gambling during this period because this period is the most important age for students to learn. If the students are addicted at this growing age, their life is completely ruined.
If it is a sub-topic in another subject like social studies or sociology then it is only the disadvantages will be taught and not the gambling itself. It is better to tell them the bad side of gambling from the primary school so that when they are in the college level they would have have already known the important of not participating in gambling. The way drug addiction is taught in schools, gambling addiction should also be taught in schools so that they would be well grounded with the knowledge of gambling addiction.

It is best to do research before buying coins, understand the character and potential of the coins we are going to buy and determine which ones have the most potential to rise. Investment is a matter of getting profits, both in the short and long term, so we must have a thorough plan before doing it
Normally it is good to make research about the project before one has to invest in it. And that is why people were saying that it is not good to invest in a new project because it has not gained reputation in the cryptocurrency ecosystem space so if one wants to invest he has to invest in a  project that has the potentials to invest and not the one that has no value.

Forum related / Re: Campaigns and Forums Traffic
« on: Today at 07:02:01 PM »
If you noticed recently those who were active in the forum when they were in any of the paused campaigns are no longer posting again, because there are no more in campaign and once there is a new campaign open, you will notice that they will come back again.

This happens even on Bitcointalk. After the mixer was banned, Jambler was also turned off, now Bestchange, some of the most generous campaigns are no longer on the forum. You can certainly feel that lack. Add to that that over time, certain old users leave the forum for other reasons, and a decrease in activity is expected.
Yah you are right I noticed that too. And recently a lot of campaigns have left the forum over there making many members stranded and many of them are not posting again. While some have left the forum and if this continues then most of the good members will leave the forum and once they left then the forum will turn to spammers and scammers zone and the falling of the forum might come from there unless the admin do something fast. +Karma for you. You speak well.

Nigerian Languages / Re: $1 To 1700N. Which way forward?
« on: Today at 06:50:47 PM »
So where is all there efforts to control dollars against Naira so it could be reduce to something else, watch now all there efforts seems to be wasted and yet dollar keeps gaining over Nigeria Naira and yet the upper hands not doing anything against it why.. because they are the people who are special dollars this includes during election and campaign period they kept spending it and now they want to automatically control the price even as that the importation ratios is extremely high therefore the country can't survive if there's no production rather than depending on consumption.
Right now at the time of posting this, the dollar is #1445 in ByBit, well I will say it has come down a little bit because two days ago it was #1536. When Jagaban enter I was also one of the people that were saying that things would come down very well for people to buy buy ironically everything casablanca. And as e be like this thing e no go better for Nigeria if Jagaban nai be di president. If Atiku go enter naim be di worst. Even Peter Obi is not trusted. And for now this is how we are going to manage till 4 years. And I pray that he should not win again in the next election.

I will also add two observations that making people to decline after registering I. The forum and post only few things and left. And the first one is the pay rate. Some people came here and see the pay rate and left the forum and I think this has been discussed in one of the thread in BTT. And someone was saying that this forum pay rate is too small. Then the second one is the lack of campaigns. The number of campaigns in the forum is too small so people are not coming like that again and I think yahoo62278 asked this question before in the forum and answers were given. If you noticed recently those who were active in the forum when they were in any of the paused campaigns are no longer posting again, because there are no more in campaign and once there is a new campaign open, you will notice that they will come back again.

Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: BENEFITS OF CRYPTOCURRENCY?
« on: May 17, 2024, 10:59:35 PM »
Cryptocurrency investment is not too easy, it is veey risky and unpredictable. But it also has some good things. Many people become self sufficient from cryptocurrency. Even huge people has been economically established from cryptocurrency. So i think cryptocurrency has huge benefitesd for is.
The thread was created since "December 27, 2018, 04:53:36 PM" and that means it has been long but the discussion is still relevant. And from what you have said. Yes to invest in cryptocurrency is not easy as people said. And also it is not hard as trading and all the two make profit. Some people said trading make profit more than investing while some debunk that fact but all what I know is all are good to make profit. And apart from the two op mentioned, you can use cryptocurrency to store your funds for future use instead of keeping it in Fiat you can keep it in crypto.

From the content there is no clear cut question but the question was seen from the topic the question is clear. So all depends on the place you using. Wallet is not for exchange but it is a place to keep your coins and save them for future use. And that should be either self custodial wallets or custodial wallets. And exchange is where you trade your coins. You swap, you convert, you buy or sell coins in exchange and it either centralized or decentralized exchange. Now with this all depends on the action you want to take at the moment. Do you want to save it for future use? Or you want to trade? Select the one that is suitable for you. And I advise you to use self custodial wallet then when you want to sell it then you can transfer it to the exchange and sell at once. It is not advisable to keep coins in exchange.

Gambling & Crypto Casinos / Re: STAY AWAY FROM 1XBIT
« on: May 17, 2024, 10:35:41 PM »
And as it was said by others probably it is a regional problem and the policies of the region is not strong enough to deal with gambling companies. Though I have also heard of others countries complaining about 1xbet scam but not in my country yet.
There's nothing bad with being careful though. There's no guarantee that some users have complained but you've yet to read them. Even if they truly operate honestly because regulation in your country is strict, the fact that some problems happened shows that they will try to exploit a loophole if it exists. Of course, this assumes the reports are legit.
Of course it good to be careful mostly 1xbet and 1xbit because the complaints for these two in BTT is very high and even though they not scammed anyone from country and non my country persons have complained about the casinos does not mean they can't do the same as they are doing in other countries. Like one of the reputable gambling poster in BTT from Nigeria said he has been using 1xbit for years but he has not experienced the scamming 1xbit does to others. And people were complaining bitterly. All boiled down to say we should be careful when gambling online.

Gambling discussion / Re: How did the gambling life Start?
« on: May 16, 2024, 10:18:35 PM »
I am present to gamble for a long time without becoming addicted. So how did your gambling life begin?
I would say I admire that you are into gambling and yet you are not addicted and that means that you are still in control of yourself and have not allowed gambling to be dictating your life, instead you controlled your gambling hobby in the way you want to be. As for me, I am not a big gambling aficionado but here in my country gambling - legal and illegal types.
Not everyone that gamble enter the net of addiction and most of us have self control ability so we escaped from the addictive type. And you want to escape gambling addiction, you don't have to visit the gambling hall every day. And if you gambling for only football then you gamble only when there is an interesting games paired to place in the weekend. And not to visit the center to gamble all the games in the week. That should be a capital NO for the gambler. And if you are interested in any other games like slot, lotto and etc. set a timetable for visit the casino centers and not all the time. These are some of the techniques to overcome addiction. As for me I like to bet on football more. And it was a friend influenced me. And I am not an addicted gambler. I gamble only when I am in the mood. And sometimes once a week..

Is it only Naira p2p most of you uses these exchanges for ? Cause I don't understand why many of you already abandoned Binance only because the Naira trading pairs were removed. What about trading and staking?
The boss I no go lie for you as for me na only that feature I dey use am for. Either I use am buy or sell. I no dey use am do another task. And if I dey trade I dey use trading apps to do the trading and not exchange platforms to trade. I never use am stake before sef. But as cryptocurrency enthusiast I need to use all those features so dat wen we dey tok or when people dey tok, at least one can also contribute something. It is good so I will look into that.

When Notcoin came out, ah people dey mined am serious and when di announcement came say dem want launched am for exchanges na there the real hustle start but at di end nothing come out and finally it is suspended till 16th of this month. I never mine and farm airdrop before.
It is all over X, the testimony of some people who claimed to have benefited from NOTcoin airdrops.

To all those people wey dey lucky to gain from the airdrop because nor be all airdrops dey legit, many na fake and waste of person time. I happy for them because e dun give dem small money wey dem fit use to start to invest in other better cryptocurrency wey dey.

So I believed.say if people get gain from the token den that go be today wey dem finally launched am to all the qualify exchanges. Well we thank God for them wey make am from dat token because many people been dey fear.

In my country, there is no where you will go to that you will not see 1xbet ads. I even thought it is a Nigerian gambling site, but I later knew it is a Russian gambling site. Also most influencers and YouTubers and others are promoting it with their promo code in my country. Is 1xbet also a scam site or only 1xbit? I know that 1xbit does not have good history on Bitcointalk.

1xbet is also a scam casino that ironically looks like it is being used as a front for money laundering (maybe the DOJ should've taken down that instead of Samourai Wallet?). Just go to AskGamblers and look at all the negative topics about it.

It is utterly ridiculous that YouTubers would knowingly promote a scam to their own followers. The only conclusion is that they want to make more money and they don't care how they do it.

Just as CharlesTim has explained, 1xbet is really huge here in Nigeria and well regulated, have their branch offices and are really into heavy promotions. I have an active account which I've used since 2021 with huge balance without any problem. I want to believe it's just a jurisdiction problem, not that 1xbet is generally bad everywhere. All fiat casino are well regulated here in Nigeria.
Exactly as Igebotz said, I have not also heard of anyone was scammed by 1xbet in Nigeria. And there is a branch office or a shop in my street that we normally go and placed our bets and take slip or ticket. And as it was said by others probably it is a regional problem and the policies of the region is not strong enough to deal with gambling companies. Though I have also heard of others countries complaining about 1xbet scam but not in my country yet.
