Some excerpts from the article above

Coinbase: "The SEC’s approval of 11 spot bitcoin ETFs, eight of which are partnered with Coinbase, is a watershed moment for the expansion of the cryptoeconomy," the company said in a blog post.

Additionally, good news for investors is that an apparent 'fee war' has broken out among ETF providers, according to Bloomberg Intelligence ETF Analyst James Seyffart.
“Look for commissions on some of these platforms that are typically trading [Bitcoin] to start tightening in competition with these ETFs once they're launched.”

ETFs could technically start trading tomorrow since the Cboe BZX Exchange earlier gave notice of approved securities listings from several asset managers.

SEC Chair Gary Gensler followed up the official SEC approval statement with his own, full of more cover-your-ass comments  ;D distancing himself from crypto...

Meanwhile, during an interview with FOX Business Network's Maria Bartiromo, JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon reiterated his long-held belief that crypto is fraud: “The actual use cases are sex trafficking, tax avoidance, anti-money laundering, terrorism financing,” Dimon said.
“I’ve always said Bitcoin doesn’t have value.”
Which is ironic given that global investment giant BlackRock named JP Morgan as an active participant in its pending ETF filing with the SEC: JP Morgan Securities is authorised participant of 2 ETFs: iShares Bitcoin Trust (BlackRock) and Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Trust (Fidelity)

... and about the SEC's X account being "hacked" yesterday...

Finally, on a side note, the desperation of the mainstream media to somehow blame Elon Musk, or X, for the SEC's utter lack of professionalism is [insert word that implies amazement but not shock because this is exactly what we thought would happen]  :D

As we detailed earlier, with fingers being pointed and blame being apportioned for the SEC screw-up, X's Safety team have provided a rather awkward statement on the results of their probe of the breach:

"We can confirm that the account @SECGov was compromised and we have completed a preliminary investigation.
Based on our investigation, the compromise was not due to any breach of X’s systems, but rather due to an unidentified individual obtaining control over a phone number associated with the @SECGov account through a third party.
We can also confirm that the account did not have two-factor authentication enabled at the time the account was compromised.
We encourage all users to enable this extra layer of security."

And there it is, just as the mainstream establishment would have loved to blame Elon Musk, or X, it turns out the world's leading securities regulator was incapable of utilizing two-factor authentication on an account that by all standards can be extremely market-moving

Thanks to  the SEC for finally approving the much awaited Bitcoin ETF, however, I think the SEC has to approve more ETF in near future for a competitive market economy. ETF and the upcoming Bitcoin Halvimg may send Bitcoin to the moon, and will increase Bitcoin adoptions globally.
If the SEC has approved all 11 spot Bitcoin ETFs, then all others that exist and will appear in the future must be approved. They can only be disapproved for some other reason, which will either be related to a violation of the platform registration, the procedure for applying for approval, or some other new reason.
As for the launch of the landing module on January 8 to our satellite the Moon, it is most likely that physical Bitcoin will not yet be able to get there due to technical reasons.

They already did  :)
They just approved Blackrock's ETF and other 10 ETFs

Below I'm going to present each single BTC ETF that was approved by the SEC.

BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT)

In June 2023, the world’s largest asset manager, BlackRock shocked the TradFi world when it filed an application for a Bitcoin spot ETF.

Now live on NASDAQ, the iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) is one of the highest-profile Bitcoin ETFs on the market, and has a 0.25% standard fee.
However, BlackRock is cutting the fee to 0.12% for the first $5 billion in assets or 12 months, whichever comes first.

BlackRock is using Coinbase as its crypto custodian and spot market data provider, with BNY Mellon as the cash custodian. The firm also named JP Morgan Securities, Jane Street Capital, Macquarie Capital, and Virtu Americas as authorized participants*.

* crypto custodian... ok, cash custodian... ok, ... but I have no idea what an authorised participant is...  ???

While everybody had BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) in mind when talking about the upcoming BTC ETF, yesterday another one of the 11 ETFs approved by the SEC - Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) -  was more traded than IBIT

Spot Bitcoin ETFs had over $4.6 billion in trading volume on the opening day

imo $4.6B means HUGE institutional interest...

The deeds has been done already and now they can start to experience the market volatility of what bitcoin is, they were all welcome to the system of volatility network with bitcoin, now that the market dips, they will take in advantage on their investors to make an investment in their bonds and market stocks so that when the market rises, they will have something to leverage on, this is something new and interesting as well to begin the year with, but we should still be awaiting the bullrun before the end of the year.

It's surprising that most of the news revolves around the investment firm BlackRock. However, looking at the trading charts, it appears that the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) had a higher trading volume on the first day. The overall trading volume is certainly encouraging, but I believe this is just the beginning, and the tip of the iceberg is not yet visible

With all this ETF approval the dip that would occur would be massive around 2026.ETF got approved and people started selling the news. I heard that ETF are going to buy 0.6B of Bitcoin everyday day and this might help cover this dip but i doubt.
To be sincere the Etf approval is kinda anti climatic.

I think most of the people don't even know anything about ETF's or what they are, but more money is now turning around bitcoin for sure.
What is interesting to me is that Blackrock supports Bitcoin ETF, and Vanguard that is owned by same people is against Bitcoin ETF... something stinks here big time.
