This is what happened to me, I don't think I have the patience to wait for websites to download when using Tor, Tor may be very good at anonymity but it cannot serve me completely work effectively.

My job normally doesn't require an extremely high level of anonymity, I have no problem with my identity when searching on Google or reading the news and sending emails, the VPN features are enough for me.

Of course, for users who want maximum anonymity when Mixing BTC, they can choose Tor, and they also don't Mix BTC every 10 minutes ^^

The browser can know your IP, someone who knows your IP can almost locate you very precisely. So, IP + location + Bitcoin address, where do you see privacy here?
If the process is repeated two or more times, the precision is better and the possibility of accidentally is very small.

I do not claim that this necessarily always happens, but some people want guaranteed privacy and trying to avoid this part of the risk.

Everyone has different risk appetites for profit and anonymity. Blockchain - Mixer - VPN - Tor are all individual choices, and I don't think any one option is perfect or suitable for all users.

As a casual user with the purpose of experiencing, I am satisfied with MixTum Clearnet and VPN. Users with higher anonymity demand can wait for the return of MixTum onion link

The question is whether the onion version will return at all, and if it is not already available, it would be good if MixTum somehow informs its clients what it is actually about. What should also be emphasized is that it is almost impossible to access their clearnet page with Tor, given that they use Cloudflare, whose captcha only repeats itself in a loop.

As far as I remember, when accessing the clearnet site via TOR, there was an automatic redirection to the onion site. The problem may be caused by the unavailability of the TOR site.

It depends, you can set Tor to redirect you to a site's .onion when it's available, but you have to choose this setting, because to my knowledge it's not active as standard.

Why is nobody addressing this issue of tor link missing?
Where is someone from Mixtum team, and where is campaign manager to finally explain this?
This is serious thing for everyone who wants to use any bitcoin mixer, not counting people who only comment because they are part of signature campaign.

Well, we have quite a few questions here, and they won't stop until MixTum can provide more information to users and the community about the status of the Mixtum onion link. Although I'm not a fan of Tor's onion link, I'm also interested and want to see MixTum still being developed well by a full-time team to provide the best services for the needs of users

The thing is that the redirect doesn't actually happen, the clearnet address is shown in the address bar all the time, and as far as I remember from the past, visiting the clearnet version with Tor did not automatically redirect to the onion version.

As I wrote before, it seems that MixTum for some reason does not want mixing to take place via Tor - and it is no secret that using that browser has its own risks, considering that even bad people can participate in "providing anonymity" with bad intentions.

I don't think this is part of MixTum's development plan. MixTum has supported onion links for users who have high anonymity requirements, meaning that this feature is useful and valuable in MixTum's strategy. We also haven't had any announcements/updates from the MixTum team about the termination of the onion link service. I think speculation is pointless, we should wait for the announcement from MixTum team.

In the meantime, MixTum users are forced to be satisfied with Clearnet site
