Title: Does anyone here mines helium with Raspberry pi?
Post by: BitMaxz on February 13, 2024, 08:55:49 PM
Hello, I just want to ask if there is someone here who mines HNT I tried to ask this on their active discord channel but there is no clear answer if I can still mine helium with raspberry pi and the reason why I want to build my own HNT miner using Raspi it's because no one selling a helium miner like bobcat or sensecap m1 here in my country so building my own Helium hotspot using raspberry might be a good option than buying this unit abroad shipping cost is too expensive and the unit from manufacture is expensive too so building a raspberry hotspot with RAK mining kit might be a good  option?

No. But do you have any specific reason you want to mine helium with Raspberry Pi? Looking at https://docs.helium.com/iot/coverage-mapping/quickstart (https://docs.helium.com/iot/coverage-mapping/quickstart), they recommend several device for DIY purpose, it seems you need several accessory which might be hard to find on your country and setup the software by yourself which probably involve some programming.
